Very cool video and song. Glad the driver survived cause that looked bad. Also awesome to see big Al and the Green Goblin. He seems like a really cool guy. 👍👍👍
I watched this video because I hadn't seen/heard much from Quiring Towing. With no audio it didn't help much. Looks like Al's wrecker needs a good make over. I doubt he has the free time to be honest. Dangerous work even with two wreckers and the Crane! Great job as always.❤
@@logroll13is big Al still going out to wrecks ? What about Gord? I see Jamie pop up from time to time but always wondered about the big green goblin & Gordon his right hand man .
Vernon Paving is owned by Lafarge, as well as M&K Ready Mix so i imagine Lafarge would bite the bullet and fix it, or pay the damages to the district maybe.
Near the start it shows a substantial amount of concrete came out the back of the mixer. Where is the 90000 pounds figure coming from. It would be lighter than 90000. the truck and mixer will run about 35000 empty.
When this thing roll make hell mess.i work in calgary many years ago we got roll over with semi yes due concrete stuck inside drum on curve is was mess.this very cotsly towing invoice.😮
The main truck for pulling was the green wrecker (50 ton), and the yellow wrecker (25 ton) was there for an anchor and pulling assist, to get the truck up on the road we had a crane from Alpha Crane that was capable of 100 tons, to help lift approximately 20,000lbs of weight from the back of the truck. This was due to the truck having around 6 meters of concrete left in it.
Where i live it's not uncommon for highway departments to put down a 2 inch cap on the roads rather than rip them up and start over. Judging by the look, that's what happened here. But I believe they skipped putting the tack layer between them.
Nice job. Glad to hear the driver is going to be okay. Definitely a team effort and a long day at that!

Not for the faint hearted, the pic to upright the unit had me on the edge of my seat.
Quiring is very good at stuff like this
Wow! With such a heavy pull, I'm surprised that the only thing tore up was the asphalt. I kept expecting a cable to snap.
yes al the best it what he does and lets not forget about his father bob who passed away a little while ago rip in peace Dave in the usa loves you
Great seeing Big Al 👍👍
Wow big green putting it down!
Al Quiring Keep the work up
Al’s the man. Remember they had him as Jamie Davis competition. Wasn’t no competition if you knew what you were watching.
And Al has been running the same 50 ton wrecker for how long??same with gords truck.
Anyone else remember quiring from HTH?
That's not Gord

Last one we did like that we cut the drum loose and hauled the truck up and then the drum. Unfortunately our driver didn't make it. So sad.

I can tell you first hand that Al is an awesome guy, easy to talk to and very knowledgeable. The best recovery guy on this side of Canada for sure!

@@jjMcCartan9686 I can't speak on that sadly. I know Al isn't a big fan of the camera crew being around all the time.
@@logroll13 I get it but is the big man still in the game or has he handed over the reigns to his son ?
@@logroll13 Just inquiring from Ireland.
Is that AL from highway thru hell operating the green heavy tow truck
Nice tow truck
❤there is a difference in a concrete truck and a redirect mix truck
company name is M&K Ready Mix
business as usual for the crew
Bringing in the crane was the smartest move possible.
Looks heavy, who fixes the road after this? in this situation.

the truck was loaded with 10.6 meters. about 3 meters made it out.
Und die komplette Straße kann auch neu!! Läuft bei euch 😅😅

Call in the green goblin and other wreckers for this call and you will have it done before the rcmp says is this road going to be reopen any time soon
Rodeway didn't look too good.🤷🏽♂️. Glad the driver was alright.
🙏🏽🙏🏽🤚🏽🙋🏽♂️
Why don't you have 4 X4 is cut to the correct length to wedge in between your two drives to hold the truck still better
Bout 20 some years ago I watch front end concrete truck flip over on it top side
It's too bad you can't anchor to those trees or something for counter pull. The spades weren't that effective and they completely destroyed the road!
Who pays for new road?
That a tough mixer, put some fuel it, check the oil and run it, hope the driver was o.k.
Frame is bent 12 ways from Sunday both ways and had a suspension failure.
👍💯
How much did that recovery cost
With everything including wages i'm gonna estimate around $40,000
Who is going to pay for the new road? Al? 🤦
The trucks liability Insurance.
@@legohead6 do Al us paying for the new road? Look at all the damage he did.
The mixer truck matches the color of the truck that towed it away...lol
You guys know that you need Jamie Davis rotator
Where was Plan B ?
Plan B was plan A😉.
Why u need a 100ton rotator

@@logroll13 Easier on the road than pulling out a pair of winch cats!
There were live powerlines on the opposite side of the road and the permits required for the crane would have been exponentially harder to obtain.
Sometimes the job just ain't pretty.
That is a concrete truck
What a mess
Not much to salvage there
should have brought in tow cranes and eliminated the destroyed road
That can’t be a blacktop road, it has to be tar and chip. If that is supposed to be blacktop, I’d be a pissed off taxpayer at how thin and weak it is.
