Momentum .. when you do a steel hill climb and have to turn around you need to be under power with some residual speed so you don’t roll sideways down the hill.
I love everything about these trucks but their size. The truck looks great at this distance as it seems almost perfectly proportional, but in real-life it's 88" width is just simply absurd and unnecessarily huge and unpractical. If they could make this truck essentially 15-20% smaller in LxWxH, but kept the same engine/drivetrain, $80k would suddenly disappear out of my bank account for some weird reason. But until then, I will be sticking to my pre-2008 trucks until this modern monster-truck phenomenon dies. Such a shame too since this thing would be infinitely more practical and desirable if it wasn't so disgustingly and stupidly big. Think about how incredibly fast and capable this thing would be with 15-20% of the weight removed. I understand that incredibly stupid EPA regulations are pushing these vehicle to be this big, but fuck me, I just want a reasonable sized truck.
@@Thekidsinafrica14 the raptor was never made for the dunes it’s a desert truck it’ll go through the desert at high speed and take the bumps. This won’t even tho dodge was trying to beat the raptor but didn’t know how. At least they tried tho Chevy didn’t even want to try
