Now the real question is.. can you tint the chrome slightly and even make it color shifting 😅
I'm gonna need everyone to go back and look at the first video on the channel. Fonzie went from being barefoot with a rattle can getting rid of chrome off of a VW grill to a massively successful businessman that is now making whole cars chrome. Congrats man!

Man I remember seeing the very first dip vid and nobody believed me when I said there is a paint that can be peeled and looks as good or better than paint or vinyl! Lol several years later BAM!!!!! fonz has blown up and has changed the car game big time!!!!! I remember seeing the movie johnny dangerously and thought it was so cool that they peeled the paint off to escape from the cops lol now here we are able to do it lol " duckies and bunnies" lmao

@@maxdrelinger agreed an R8 in this would be badass😈 Annoying how everyone buys an i8 and wraps it in the flashiest color to compensate for how slow it is and then post it on their tik tok because they couldn’t afford a Lamborghini and they had to find an alternative for the Lambo doors, so they got a Bummer instead. 🐽

Phenomenal. Looks stunning. Idea for the future: tint the clear that goes on top, like blackchrome or candy chrome.

They used to do this on bicycles in France bitd. Google " Chromovelato " to see some pictures.
It's just the purest, sweetest candy clear you've ever seen. Really pretty.
Now THAT is the most GORGEOUS car effect I have ever seen... I can see why all you car painters would consider it the grail of colors now. AMAZING!
Now if only there was a way to combine this and the Hypershift & MOOD ring.

This is definitely the best chrome effect I have seen for vehicles. It came out so good.
We have a similar issue in the nail tech world, if you don’t lay down a smooth foundation your end product won’t have that mirror shine and if you don’t have the correct top coat it will ruin the chrome effect.
This isn’t really my style but I respect the hell out of it for just how impressive it is that you can achieve that finish with a sprayable, easy to install, temporary product. Very impressive!

Its all but easy to install. Achieving black base coat that smooth is a challenge in its own. Give it a try :D, because i did. Seriously impressive paint job!

You crazy SOB's did it. I remember YEARS ago when ALSA chrome came out and I wanted it. You guys have put a chrome like finish in the hands of DIY's like myself. Mad props to you guys. I have two Veilside wide Z's that I may do this with.

I had my S2K at SEMA way back in 2007 and I wanted to do this to my car, unfortunately back then there were no chrome wraps or plastidip. It's awesome that you guys figured out how to make a peelable version. That M3 looks awesome. Can't wait till you release tints for the clear you're developing, a nice anodized teal close to Laguna Seca blue would look awesome on this car.
Great product, fantastic execution as always! I feel like your b-roll footage towards the end of each video could definitely benefit from some roller shots on the street. Would love to see this chrome on the road!
When I still lived in south africa cape town, one of my neighbors sprayed their 2015 chevrolet lumina ss Gold chrome mirror effect ...it looks extremely gorgeous 😍

Whenever I think watching this channel "ok, now that's the coolest paint job he did", in the next episode 🤯 boom, he exceeds. I can't think on any cool paintjob idea, because this channel did all of them.

Not with the autoflex it won't. Which the autoflex is still the best in my opinion. They only sell the autoflex to professional paint guys. Gotta have a paint business to even sign up to get the stuff.

I have spray chrome capabilities in my shop, I have placed these pearls over the chrome and it looks really cool. Super subtle and really original looking.

It's more forgiving because you can sand and polish before final aplication. Alot of work but worth it. Rattle can a whole car. wtf

But imagine all the other possibilities with it! Doing chrome trims is now as easy as plasti dip it in any color!! How cool is that?!!
I know i"m late to the party here; your products are crazy!!! I've been involved in the costume/cosplay community for over a decade, and your products would do wonders in my industry. Plasti-Dip is the number one sealant for foam smiths (people who create arms and armaments out of EVA foam). Most use traditional latex paints afterward, but using the DYC stuff would rally up the game.

Not my cup of tea style wise but what I do appreciate about it is that it looks like polished aluminum which to me always looked better than chrome........there’s a warmth to it that chrome just doesn’t have. Nice work👍🏻
