  • Men started disappearing in the Ohio woods, and they had been going there following up on an advert on Craigslist to watch over a farm. When one man emerged, barely escaping with his life, the police went in. What they found were many graves, and one psychopath. But he did have help.

Fun fact: I was one of the people who responded to the ad. I lived in nky at the time and was 18 and needed to get out of my parents place. The dude was super chill over the phone but refused to let me live on the property because I was "to young" and he was looking for someone more "trustworthy and older". And I legit begged this dude at one point to let me stay ok the property and work (I have farm hand experience) I didn't know what he had done till last year and had a panic attack at work.

Wow. I don't think you were "too young" as he told you. I think what he really meant was "you're too young because your parents will come looking for you." Scary freaking thought. As my mom always said, there's a silver lining behind every dark cloud. What seemed like a dark cloud to you at the time (not getting the job because you were too young), was actually the silver lining, the God smack that saved your life.

It's incredibly disturbing to know how much effort the killers put into researching their victims and the lengths they went to in order to render them helpless. I'm guessing they staged the "job interviews" beforehand to ensure the men they were luring into the woods weren't armed and had no nearby friends or relatives who could have helped save them. Makes me sick.

For those looking for jobs, some advice - if they offer to take you in their vehicle somewhere, decline, anything could happen, you could end up stranded, you could be taken advantage of, you could be attacked, point is something could happen to you and you’d have no escape. Ask if you can follow in your own vehicle (if you trust him/her enough to follow with your own vehicle), if he/she acts sketchy, tries to convince you to go in his/her car, gets aggro, then somethings immediately not right. Just don’t get into his/her car if he/she offers to take you somewhere, you dunno what kind of crazies you’ll come across in life.

Many people get confused about that, think someone can just turn 18 and unlearn all the crap their parents filled their head with, but more often than not, turning 18 just means an additional threat of homelessness as a means of control, which many can escape by finding employment but cost of living went up more than minimum wage and many areas, pre-covid were short on livable wage paying jobs, especially if you're a fat lazy psycho-fvsk like our killer.

She has guilt / blames herself for her dads idea/actions because she helped set up his account and taught him how to use it because he said he was gonna use it to sell stuff because I guess at the time he was low on cash. Scott Davis met with her and he told her he doesn’t blame her at all… Like stuff like that eats at me. I felt the same way. I actually paused the video to look at each of the men and thought about what they had to be thinking when they each had responded to the ad, thinking they had found exactly what they were needing at that time in their lives. A job, housing, a little cash and a remote location. They had to be excited and relieved to have been selected. How incredibly terrifying that hundreds had replied to the ad. Knowing this streak only ended due to what could be the most lucky event in the most unlucky situation really can make you question fate.

This guy's MO is to forge a friendly relationship with these men. Spending time to know these people before he attacks them brutally and has no moral qualms with his self.
Just think about how messed up that is...

Thank you for highlighting Ohio, my home. It's an interesting place. Check out one of the biggest human trafficking areas in the Midwest/NE in Kent Ohio, where Kent State University Main Campus is. There were several hotels busted for it in the area, right along the highway and turnpike.

A lesson we can take from this is always travel in pairs when you're meeting a stranger or going somewhere unfamiliar - even if they just stay long enough to meet the person and drop you off. That much is enough to spook people with bad intentions.

Hi, I’ve been a follower of this site since the very early days and I have just broke up a long term relationship. One of the so called insults thrown at me in our last row was how I loved sites such as Mikes and what a weirdo I was? I make no excuses for being a regular viewer of this site but if that makes me some sort of nut then I guess Iam in pretty good company and can live with that.

I followed this case when it first came to light (I live about and hour and a half away from Noble county). The deception and cruelty involved was unbelievable! To make these men, who so desperately wanted to better their lives, targets, was just horrid....they were vulnerable and SO trusting it was heartbreaking. Thank God Scott managed to elude them, just long enough, was a miracle....I can't imagine being hunted. Every noise, every twig snapping, Lord I can't imagine the terror!!! I'm so glad they were caught....they, obviously, had no qualms about destroying people's lives. Horrifying.....🥺😥

You just keep getting better and better. May you continue to be richly blessed, and may your fan base continue to grow. To be honest, I would send a check to his PO Box if I were to donate money to him. Even PayPal is messed up in the same vein as Patreon, unfortunately.
I just don’t see how things can possibly get better when people keep throwing money at these companies who silence massive amounts of people just because they don’t like what they say/believe/etc..
We are in such a bad state with the way things are right now. : /
P.S. Mike should know better about this too, which makes it extra frustrating that he will use their services just because the company happens to be in his favor for what he is saying *at the moment.*

Just curious… Are you doing archaeology in Mexico? I was curious and took a peek at your profile. I had a good friend years ago that was doing the same thing in the same area… It always looked like a really fun profession to me. Discovering stuff that can be so important for humanity’s history books is really cool!
