Just did (subscribe). Interesting and poignant story about the story you did on Shelley Tyburski. By simple chance (small and eclectically-populated New Year's Eve 2013), I accompanied a good friend of mine to his brother's NYE party. He advised me about the stray guest I would meet there, and just know she was a bit strange. When I came in, I introduced myself to her and said 'Shelley?'. She said I could call her anything I wanted. Something ethereal and quite special about her, and the four of us were listening to 'stories' intently, and we called her out on a few (said she spoke many languages, so those of us who could asked her questions in the most common - no comprende). But she took it all in strideand was delightful company. Never met her before, but I could feel she was a very special soul just looking for love. I think she had something like 5000 friends on FB. I left feeling that I had indeed met an angel of God and that she wasn't long for this world. Her last New Year. She was gone three months later. Devil comes in all shapes and sizes - her mother had no idea of her child's specialness. Thank you for really showing that aboutShelley.

" I'm so glad that you are leaving this courtroom, and hopefully I will never have to see you again the rest of my life ..." Is the best thing I have EVER heard a judge say on this channel. R.I.P Rosemary.
It’s even better… she said “that I will never have to look upon you, again”
Absolutely.

Rosemarie was one smart woman. She had the smarts and the courage to basically solve her own murder, mere minutes before she died. I hope her kids always know what a hero their mother was, and I'm sure they'd be proud.
Amen to that
I thought that was incredibly impressive. Most people just panic in near death situations but she analyzed the facts and made sure someone she trusted knew about her suspicions. It's even more impressive when you consider that she called a friend and not her husband so she likely deduced that he had planned to kill her. Ice cold, respect and rest in peace.
I'll never understand why these people think they will get away with murder! Such senseless crimes! So incredibly sad for the children!
Definitely not smart enough 🤣🤣

I had to comment again after finishing because the judge just wow. She let him have it without letting him have it. Very crafty with her words. He deserved it all and then some.

@@squishish It's not racist to be proactive about your safety. Liberals always harp on about rape culture and the patriarchy, yet Palestinian culture is somehow exempt from criticism because they're not white? Women do not have the right to an education in Palestine. They're often restricted from driving. The large majority do not own any land or dwellings because their culture dictates that they give it to their male family members. Honor killings are very common. Rape is almost never prosecuted. You can certainly marry whoever you want, but don't be surprised that their beliefs and teachings end up affecting you negatively.
@@nunceccemortiferiscultu7826 Based as always.
@@squishish Not a single person said to strike someone out specifically and only because of their culture. What I am saying is to be more careful and evaluate that person in case they do hold those same beliefs that are prevalent in that culture. Just like you're going to be careful around a man that you don't know because men often do victimise women, you should be careful of, and proactive about a person if they're from a culture with incredibly backwards and damaging beliefs, laws, and traditions. Religious convictions and beliefs, and cultural beliefs are some of the strongest beliefs a person can hold. Women need to be proactive about their safety and be aware of those cultural differences, and not "feel weird" about making sure that you're compatible. People really don't like to admit that some cultural beliefs are dangerous and damaging for fear of being called a racist. You're dancing around the subject like a figure skater trying to both not be perceived as racist, while simultaneously agreeing that women do need to evaluate their potential partner for red flags. A Palestinian man with a muslim background is extremely less likely to be supportive of women's rights and bodily autonomy. Therefore, you need to do your due diligence and take that into account.

the statement the judge made to him at the end... I don't think anybody could've said something more effective than that.

"... and like most suburbs it's like most suburbs .. " very witty ... I love it!!
The whole “Tell-Tale Heart” by Edgar Allan Poe reference was interesting. Him “keeping the cyanide was the beating heart”…Pretty deep.
I wondered in that moment if he understood the reference or if he even cared? She really let him know how she felt about him, that’s for sure. Props judge!
I wasn’t aware that the judge is able to have conversations with the jury? I did hear her say it was after the verdict conclusion. Learn something new everyday I guess.
Yeah. I also have no clue about that - but guess if it was after the trial, and the verdict already given by the jury... it should be okay(?).... but, errmmm... before sentencing... maybe not(?).... okay that's a bit weird, maybe. Unless the sentence was pre-determined at that point. Then I guess I see no harm in it.
After the verdict is sealed, it’s not unusual for the jury to have conversations with the media, the attorneys, and the judge. But you’re right…that could not happen during the trial.
It probably went right over his head. He's standing there crying about not getting to sleep with his mistresses for at least 20 years.
Perhaps he will read it now that he has time. If they have it in the prison library.
The role of a judge is startlingly similar to the role of a referee in a sporting contest. And much like a ref, the judge kind of has to converse with and instruct the players, be they lawyers, witnesses, or jury. And as noted, once the trial is over people can do what they want. When I was on a trial jury years ago, we got together afterwards and crafted a letter to the DA office, because we felt they had done a piss-poor job of the prosecution, and were disgusted that this was the level of quality our hard-earned tax dollar bought. We also all got thank-you letters from the judge in that case.
The best time of the week! Story time with Mike❤️

Hey Mike! While you post this video, a pathetic but heartbreaking case is unfolding in Portugal. A little girl named Jessica, only three years old, was murdered because (brace yourself) witchcraft debts. She was violently assaulted until became disfigured and unrecognizable during DAYS, because her mother did not pay a debt of 400€ (value of a spell she asked a "witch" to put on her partner so that he wouldn't leave her). The worst thing is that this was totally preventable, because she was already flagged by the authorities as a potential endangered child... but the case was dismissed because her father emigrated. Now it is all over the news... the mother is bring threatened and was assaulted during Jessica's funeral, the kidnappers (supposedly her nanny who turned out to be the witch, her husband and her daughter) tried to avoid justice and the "witch" even tried to escape the country. Yelp, this is such a depressing one... and also just plain pathetic. Apparently a child's life nowadays is worth only 400€. So yeah, I think this one would be a tough but necessary one to cover in this amazing channel.
Shhh…witchcraft and Satanic ritual abuse are not “real”.
Even though there are thousands of cases a year directly linked to it. 👁🤫
Commenting to boost. What a tragedy.

I’m sorry what!!! That poor baby, plz tell me you can have life in prison without the possibility of parole in Portugal

That judge str8 SLAYED his ass! Bruh got his boots COOKED!!😂 the haymaker was that “hope your kids forget you” line WOOOOOOOOOOOOOH!!!!🔥🔥🔥
Of 30-35 trials, this one was by far the craziest, most dramatic one I’ve seen. SO much more happened. I LOVED the drawn Ferris wheel at the bottom of his hand written love letter. She’s at the top yelling "help!" And he’s at the bottom saying "I’ll always save you!" HAHAHAHAHA!!! Omg. This trial had real doctoring, fake doctoring, ripping the necklace off his dead wife’s neck, truth, lies, Canadian gambling, on the run with male relatives, confessions, cover ups, sneaking about $60k across the southern border, aliases, polygamy, threats, drug lords, international wanted criminals, prison confessions, three criminal testimonies, best friend testimony, top secret information made public during testimony, FANTASTIC prosecutor and defense teams, an INCREDIBLE judge, a trick extradite, family deception, abandoning kids, sisterly adoption, 3+ concurrent affairs, a brother lying on the stand then back to tell the truth when threatened with prison for harboring a fugitive, Americas Most Wanted, identification, camping, drug store footage buying calcium CAPSULES…and much, much more. I highly recommend it. For real this time, she really was a wonderful mom, sister, friend, and daughter. The MANY, MANY personal statements were heartbreaking and their loss and pain palpable. The family was very close in a way you just don’t see. And he was right there at every weekly barbecue and every bday party, vacation, outing, everything. The aunt who adopted the children said they will never even know his name or that he ever existed. He truly is hideous. So much more so than the "Tell-Tale Heart" man.
Wow! Mike really had to condense it!
We dont know the back story of the tell tale heart ....only Poe knows 😎👊🔥

ROSIE WAS MY DAD'S FRIEND. Wow, I have been asking podcasters to cover this case and I can't believe I got to see it here! Thank you for covering it. My dad worked with Rosie in the ER right up to her murder. He said no one liked Yaz, it was pretty clear he was screwing around. Once, Rosie made a comment that she thought he had tried to put "gasoline" in her soda by accident, and now that I'm more familiar with crime, it seems like he was trying the antifreeze trick. My dad went to her funeral and he said when the one of ladies he worked with went to give Yaz a hug, he complimented her perfume and said, "Rosie would never wear that for me." Major creep, glad he is locked the hell up. Thanks for this and all your hard work, Mike!
OMFG! What a sicko!
Ughhh...
What a sociopath....still putting her down after she passed, at her own funeral at that!
Its good that he is locked up unfortunately no amount of jail time can make up what he took away from her and her children. I wish the would immediately execute people like this.
Hey, is this when he worked at Akron General Hospital? It always freaked me out he worked at my local ER. I was diagnosed w/ a chronic disease when this all happened so I was there a lot trying to figure out what was wrong w/ me.
She and the kids look so sweet. Why was his criminal record originally expunged? I guess it was a juvenile record? So, didn't his family knowr he was a criminal? They still sheltered him in Cyprus and Lebanon? Why the hell did she take that calcium pill? I trust my husband, but if he chased me out to the car w/a calcium pill, I feel I would be suspicious. Chasing me down w/my phone in the driveway, he does do. That has to do w/my immediate safety of having a phone in case of emergency.
I don't think the judge could've said anything better. Especially when she said she hopes his children forget him. You can tell that one statement hit him. Good for her!

That, and that she hoped she would _never_ have to see him again!
And, she prefaced the whole thing, with "As a woman, I'm sure that you couldn't care less about anything I have to say...." Yeah, that's probably true. Except, as a judge, she could and did have something to say about his sentence. She also said that she was limited by law in what she could sentence him to - and she maxxed it out.

I watched the trial live on Court TV. The judge later said its the first trial she presided over! A defense witness was caught lying under oath & to avoid perjury charges, had to testify truthfully & he did. It was shocking! The trial was crazy, but the judge presided like a pro!

I approved of the way you told the story, Mike.
Totally agree, and just think he could be out and amongst us in less than 10 years.
@@funjuror wtf???? Let’s keep that one IN!!!!!
@@funjuror eligible for parole doesn't mean he is likely to get it. Im pretty sure Rosie's family will be there to fight it until their last breath. Although we know crazy ish happens.
@@beeeeeeeee7951 Yes he is ELIGIBLE for release in 2029.
However I highly doubt he will be granted parole at that time.

This was one of the saddest stories I’ve ever followed. Watching that trial made me so sick. The eyes are the windows. His f’n windows are filthy.
I literally just commented that the eyes give it away, his eyes are evil!
Raciss
Oh no it’s not the saddest. Try the latest instalment of this other true crime channel called “This is Monsters”
@@Vee_of_the_Weald Is that the airplane one?
Little beady nephilim eyes.
That says it all.
You could see it in his eyes when the guilty verdict was read. He actually thought he was going to get by with murder! He's the epitomy of what an evil person is. Selfish.
Always a great way to start off the weekend. Love the work, Mike! Keep it up
Thank you so much!

I watched this story recently, on another channel. Mike, I just have to say, you are incredibly talented my dude! You some how manage to be hilarious and respectful to the victims, all at the same time. You’re the best!💜
He is most definitely talented in the way you described.
U ain't no MrBallen but iv been subscribed to you since before 100K. Keep killing it bro 💪🏽

I agree, Mike and Mr Ballen are the BEST story tellers with facts and proof and just enough twists, turns and suspense to keep the interest piqued
well put
Aww, thanks. We 💜 you too.
BTW, I almost choked on my lunch when the judge told him that she hopes his children “forget him”. That’s probably the coldest and most F’d up statements that I’ve heard a judge say to a convict. You could tell that his eyes got watery whenever his children were mentioned. Those words will haunt him for the rest of his pathetic, useless, life. 😁
It was the coldest and most F'd statement in a good way... need more judges like her.
psychopath - he could care less what the judge said or about his kids. he abandoned them.
Narcissists only cry for themselves. They have no empathy for anyone else.
@@woowoo2097 💯💪💯
For a Doctor... Yaz seemed pretty stupid:
1) Keeping the cyanide/calcium pills instead of throwing them out somewhere far far away
2) Immediately moving into other relationships
3) Immediately breaking ties with his in-laws
4) Leaving Lebanon, where he was safe from extradition
5) Buying cyanide on eBay (presumably from his own device which allowed transaction to be retrieved after warrant... rather then using a burner phone or a brand new Wi-Fi device from the bushes outside of McDonalds or something)
Just another proof that being good at remembering things does not equal intelligence.
As a 2nd gen Palestinian, it wouldn't surprise me if he hadn't been raised to have little or no respect for females in general, and probably didn't see what he did as a real "crime", but more like getting rid of a dog that he no longer wanted.
(edit): I originally posted he was Pakistani, and was told later the vid said he was Palestinian. Unfortunately, that doesn't change the remainder of the post.
He wasn't exactly a stickler for planning and paying attention to details, that's for sure.
Narcissist doesn't make mistakes, they think they are the best at everything.. lucky for us, they aren't..
@@wallyman292 That's just a copout. Yazeer lived his whole life in the USA and committed this murder when he was 36. Despite how he may have been raised, he knew how to treat and respect women. He knew right from wrong. It's not like he just freshly moved into the USA. He's just an evil monster. Also he's of Palestinian origin.
I'm so happy to see Mike's growth. His video releases earn numbers as quick as music videos and that makes me happy because he obviously puts a lot of research and work into his documentaries. He really has found one of his talents.

I have watched him since the beginning. He was so reserved and didn't seem happy. I think this channel made his life better as he has made ours better. I just adore him and love that so many others do too. Good Shite! 😊
I always find great satisfaction when the verdict comes back guilty and the officers slap those cuffs on straight away. As always, love ya Mike. You rock!
Right?? I absolutely love that.

Mike is one hard working guy. I went to school for film/video production and have been editing since 1996. Still, there's no way in hell I could keep up with his upload schedule. Certainly not with the consistent deep research and quality of work. It is always a joy to find he's released a new video. Also, I always hope to see the life insurance bit. That sh!t randomly runs through my head all the time.
Thanks for sharing that information on Mike! I had no clue after all the years been watching him every week.

I've been watching for a while, and I'm astonished at the continuous increase in quality and rate of uploads. I don't think he has a team either. I just like to highlight the diligence of my favorite channels from time to time. IMO, this is one of the best, and he's built a solid community of cool people. Cheers.

Indeed. I'd love to see a little behind the scenes video, from research to upload. He's clearly developed an efficient workflow for these over the years.
@@SewerTapes I so agree with you. Even though I've worked 2-3 jobs most of my life I don't think I could keep up. Cheers to you!
Imagine him preparing the capsules with that in mind. Makes me think of that old saying - if you love me show me, don’t tell me. If you fall out of love with me tell me, don’t show me. I don’t understand how people can’t comprehend the permanence of death vs. the couple of years of the pain of divorce. I hope his children do forget him. They deserve much better than the memory of their mommy’s murderer.
I've never heard the second part of that saying, but it makes so damn much sense 👍
I think they are more concerned with their image. He wouldn’t get the same attention if he got divorced, gotta have those ladies feeling sorry for him for being widower
Wow! I actually saw the complete trial and you gave the folks a MILD version of this ghoul. He was a real monster. Rosie was a very beautiful, loving mother AND wife. This is truly a tragic story 😿
Did he really think he would get away with his wife's murder? Yazeed is evil & dumb, a recipe for disaster. Rosemarie's courage & presence of mind, even on the brink of death, was fantastic. She made sure that he did not get away with murder. I feel bad for the kids, losing both of their parents at the same time. And, what, in God's name, was the motive of this senseless murder?
To show his wife who's the boss? He looks dumb enough for that to be the motive.
Just a guess, but probably wanted to avoid paying her alimony, paying child support...
The fact that he left lebanon for even a second says yes he did think he would get away with it. Which is mind blowing.
Had his wife not made that phone call, he probably would’ve gotten away with it.
finally a comment relating to the story and not kissing mikes feet
What a judge. Her words made me cheer inwardly - despite all the horror and tragic of this case.
Best send off by a judge I've ever heard. Hands down, she told that freak off.
Great vid Mike! Awesome work as always.
