Dude , when they first showed that video of him speaking, after he said he had been stabbed over 100 times. It broke my heart BIG TIME 😞 what a fucking sick coward 💔 tbh I don't shy away from violence, I actually kind of enjoy at times , times like when I come across someone who likes to pick on the weak and vulnerable. Truly a heart breaking story 💔
I can't comprehend someone being so dedicated to stabbin' they'd do 102 stabs. Hell, I won't take that many strokes at the driving range, and I'm trying to get better. It's a lot of work to do in somebody they didn't even know, right? I'd say "100 stabs and you're not dead? Fine. We'll call it a draw."
In most cases a person would have to carry a massive grudge or hatred for a person to stab them so many times. But someone so mentally unfit simply enjoyed it.
I saw a story of a case where the criminal stabbed the man so many times they counted it would have taken him like 4 minutes straight. I forgot how many wounds but 4 minutes of straight stabbing 😳🤯
The fact that Crime Stoppers didn’t give her the reward money because she called the police instead of them is really kind of disgusting. Aren’t they on the _same_ side?
Next time I report a Crime, or want to report something suspicious... I'm gonna surf the web looking for any possible rewards first... and well.... you know... if there aren't any on offer.... I might just hold back a little bit. When they finally do offer a reward... I'm not going to jump at it... let me wait a year or two... they may just increase the amount... then maybe I'll surf the net again... and just see if there are any other offers (like any 2 for one specials, or something)... hell, I'm not gonna rush in and fall for this nasty business of reporting a crime to the wrong authorities... (clearly there are there more than one "authorities"). Hard luck lady.... I feel your pain.
@@Montina_Paullin yeah, crime stoppers will just review the info (who knows when) and at some point pass the info on to police (who knows when) by which time he would be long gone and most likely have found/killed another victim and again be long gone by the time the cops got anywhere near the area,
Actually not true. Women think guys are creepy period when being approached by any man they dont find attractive or that they dont want to approach them.
as a brother, i can't imagine the guilt Nahid's brother must've felt for not accompanying her that fateful day, even though it wasn't his fault whatsoever. very chilling...
Especially coming from his culture where he is not meant to allow her to leave the house alone. Literally, everyone in his country and probably his parents will blame him as under Saudi law she can not legally leave the house without a male relative. She was probably only there because he promised to continue to chaperone her. Either way, when he gets back to Saudi they will see him as letting his family down and being completely responsible. This will also convince them that allowing women out alone should never happen in Saudi.
@@AnyoneCanSee that's only true if his family are ultra orthodox, and even then you can go out by yourself, just not supposed to talk to any men unless accompanied by a male relative,
Absolutely disgusting 'cop out'. I'm pretty sure the police need to be on their way first, when someone is literally lurking in the bushes. It's not quite the same as 'yeah I fink my neighbour dun it, giz the money' 🤑🙄
Yeah, fck crime stoppers. They're creating an incentive not to call police directly in time critical situations. If they've allocated money for the purpose of catching a particular criminal, they should pay out when someone does the thing they claim they want done.
I'm just so sorry for the deceased and their families. I'm so glad the dog walker saw him and was safe. His poor parents as well. We homeschooled our kids due to bullying. One of our sons needed extensive counselling because he ended up heading the wrong way. He wanted help though and he was soon back to his loving self. Glad they also pointed out that being autistic has nothing to do with being violent.
Mike being creepy with a butter knife in the middle of a story about a sadistic killer is gold! Not many people could get away with that type of humour during an upload containing content like this. Dude is a gem
So they didn’t give this lady the reward money because she made the prudent decision to call the local and immediate law enforcement instead of CRIMESTOPPERS. It’s things like that that cause the populace to lose respect for the “authorities”. That being said I’d still be interested in hearing CRIMESTOPPERS justification for being so petty and risking their loss of faith by potential witnesses next time a serious crime happens and people that may only have come forward for the reward don’t.
@@christophernoneya4635 thanks for the clarification. Tbh I wasn't really comfortable with the term authority but couldn't come up with anything else 😕
@@christophernoneya4635 I know one of the guys that started crimes stoppers. I do think the lady should have received the reward money. The CEOs at crimestoppers make money.
I mean thats not authorities thats an organization that just wants to use the case to become more famous and make more money. But yeah, I get the sentiment with things that happen sometimes with police.
It's so skeevy that crime stoppers have that little loophole; especially considering that that woman was so close to most likely being attacked. They KNOW that almost everyone's first thought is to call the emergency police line, and not Google the crime stoppers number. I guess crime stoppers is only good for strong leads that catch a killer, but i'm sure there are more loopholes they've figured out
Respect what they do in advertising crimes with reward money, but the fact that they dont give the money up unless theyre called shows the reward money isnt because they care, but because they want to become bigger and make more money.
I wouldn’t call it a loophole. If the effect is that the public is vigilant and aware, they are helping reduce police workload by dealing with (real and prank) calls about sightings while a killer is on the loose… they have done their job. Crimetoppers at its peak was watched weekly by every household in the country, and offering that payout was what brought a lot of small criminals to justice. Our side of the bargain as viewers is that…Morality is being OK with doing the right thing over the lucrative thing.
@@msmiami212 no. People aren't altruistic. We do things for our own gain. If people felt they would be cheated out of that reward they definitely wouldn't be as vigilant. Sure they would report a crime but we would all do that. However they wouldn't go that extra step to protect others and over time they would lose trust and respect in policing authorities.
This all happened in my local area and I still remember the disbelief when he was caught and it turned out he was only fifteen, it's horrifying to think what he would have gone on to do if he hadn't been caught so quickly considering he had already escalated to that point when he was still just a child. The lady that reported him saved a lot of lives and absolutely should have been given that reward money.
Same I remember it quite well, my sister was James' tutor at his school. We lived only round the corner on Margaret road. AND I worked part time at the uni at the time lmao. I was not allowed to bike to work until we all found out what happened.
Same here. I used to live 2 doors down from him and I must have walked past him in the street hundreds of times. Ive got a morbid curiosity about this kid. I've heard about violent people from movies and such but I didnt ever think there would be a guy like that about 2 doors down from me. Scary stuff.
I was just gonna comment this same thing. I would be devastated, in his place. God help him and all the family members left to suffer in these horrible cases… 😪
Should he dick around so much during his shows? Eg. When he's doing an English accent for some dumb reason in this episode. Whilst the material is interesting and he presents it well, mostly, there is a time and a place for being silly. When reporting on cases such as these in this episode, one of which involves someone who was stabbed over a hundred times? Is that being respectful? I'd say it's hardly necessary and more than a little offensive.
Ooh, you should check out The Disturbing Truth and DEADBUG says. TDT is hosted by Mr. Black, who does a great criminal bashing, and DEADBUG...well, he's demonetized , (probably)for a few reasons. DB has no filter on his speech, for one thing. Mr. Black is smooth, DB is anything but.
If he'd lived for a week, maybe. Not trying to diminish his life or staying alive. But 45 minutes isn't that long. Lots if people take a few hours to stop living after such an attack. Ie, pronounced dead at hospital is a common phrase. Not everyone dies at the scene
@@onlyme219 Crimewatch Uk is a BBC tv programme, but Crimestoppers is the charity that put up the reward. Without Crimewatch, the witness wouldn't have known about the 'italian jacket'
The woman who called the police when she saw him lurking is really amazing! She likely saved her own life, and definitely saved countless others. It is really disgusting that she got ripped off by a system that incentivizes calling someone other than proper authorities first. I feel like that should be straight up illegal. Imagine if some ambulance chaser offered cash if you called them before calling 911? That's more extreme, but I just think what happened there was totally wrong.
the community you've built with this channel is positive & friendly. when you say we need to take care of each other, it seems we really do. thank you for creating great content & a safe space
A safe place to hear about people being murdered in any and every way possible. I can't sleep at night without watching at least two of his videos. I wouldn't feel safe otherwise.
Ok. Your completely original storytelling skills are actually creating an entirely new art form. The bar just keeps rising for the competition. You're the best Mike.
I have watched several other true crime channels, but none come close to Mike and how he tells the stories. I believe I have watched every episode of That Chapter, but only a few of the other ones. Most are kind of monotone, or they use gimmicks like putting on make-up while relaying the information. The worst are the ones where it takes them an hour or more to tell the story, and they're mostly reading the script with little or no video or other supporting pics. Mike, you're the King of True Crime on RUclips--you rule!
I thought this bordered on disrespect. It's one thing to mock the criminals for getting caught and whining about themselves etc and entirely another to make light of two brutal murders in which a woman had her eyes cut out while she was alive. Do you think you'd find him standing there with a knife for laughs funny if that was your child? I hope he rethinks that sort of thing as these crimes are not a joke.
@@AnyoneCanSee I understand what you're saying, but you're kind of blowing it out of proportion. We all have a caring heart for the victims but we dont know them personally. Not that much attachment. Hes definitely not being disrespectful, he is just telling a story in PG format, how I see it anyways. It's a very easy listen to truly brutal events. Overall hes just watering it down and its entertaining the way he does it.
My family appreciates mike so much, the way you construct your videos and don’t beg for likes and subscribers- is the reason I happily subscribed. (That and the content of course) not pretending you have to teach an adult what a like button is is so refreshing mike! We love ya
2 months after this video Mike started asking for subscribers. So disappointing. He got almost 2,000,000 subscribers and over 600 million views without ever once having to ask us to subscribe.
I just glanced up and saw your almost 1.67 million subs and I have to say, I feel a little special, seeing I was in the first wave in your beginnings. It’s good to see you’re so successful as a storyteller. Kudos for you!
The ones who kill random people are the scariest. I hope James and his Yoda ears never get out of prison!! And I love you Mike!! That creepy guy bit you did was hilarious!
You're comedic timing is spot on and then you let us know exactly what you think of these pieces of "shite", the up and down of your story telling is fascinating. Thanks Mike, love ya too.
I'm sick to death of conditions like Autism being used to justify serious crimes the vast majority of people on the Autistic spectrum don't commit murder he was simply an evil person who got a kick out of killing his victims.
My Daughter was a victim to lad who they said exactly that about, yet he continues to do things and because of that they are wary of ruining is life, what a freaking joke that is, sad things is he is only 15 now, people make mistakes but not these style mistakes, My daughter will be scarred mentally for life because of what he did. The police and social services, and everyone who uses that as an excuse should be ashamed.
Many also use having a bad childhood or being abused when they were young to justify theirs actions. But 99% of us never turned into murdering psycho. We just use our experience with misery and hardship to be better, more adaptive and resilient individuals than the majority. Those how uses such excuses are just evil murderers or abusers and such excuses shouldn't be relevant in court or anywhere else.
I feel bad for Nahid's brother. The day he wasn't there to walk her to school is the day she was so brutally butchered. Im sure that he is absolutely racked with guilt knowing that he should have been there to stop it and protect her. I really can't even imagine what that must be like to live with that. Hopefully his family can come to forgive him for this senseless, and horrific tragedy.

@ Bowens Robert Like you, I rarely comment on any platform, but with Mike's videos I often feel compelled to. I agree with your sentiment "thank you for putting in so much of your time and efforts into your videos" well said.
Please, please, please do more recreations of what the murderer looks like. The black and white “creepy” reenactment was perfection! Not only did it make me laugh quite hard, I’m sure it will also save my life one day because I now know to stay away from creepy-looking guys with knives!
Mike, you have accompanied me since I was pregnant, after I gave birth, during those sleepless nights of my baby cluster feeding and now my baby is five months old, you’re still here with me. I have mild PPD and your videos help me feel a lot better. Thank you!
Omgosh same!! My little one is 1 now, I’ve been watching Mike for much longer than my son has even existed 😆 I wish you the best on your journey, things will calm down and get a bit easier, hang in there, it’s not easy especially when you’re down and soooo exhausted, I know, sending you love ❤️
Mike, thank you so much for using James’ real name, not the sensationalist nickname that callous journalists gave him in order to make themselves more money! It’s important to highlight that murderers are humans, not bogeymen or glamorous antiheroes/villains. You’re one of the good ones and your work reflects that
Another great job Mike. It's amazing how many cases are solved by just someone noticing a man that fits the description and not DNA or CTV or cell phone data.
When he comes up for parole they need to just mouth to him “We don’t give a shit” And Crime Stoppers should have manned up and awarded Michelle the reward. Mostly because she wasn’t looking to get a reward when she called the Police. Nor when she had to walk them over to him.
Well that was effing crazy. Those voices must've really had him scared to make him stab that poor man 100 times! I have no doubt this kid would've gone on to become a sadistic serial killer of that woman wouldn't have called the authorities. It's insane to think about how close she came to being the next. Fantastic and fascinating, as always, Mike! Thank you for your hard work. I love you too!
I've been watching this channel for years and of all the true crime channels, the humor that's added in is such a reflection of the humor that is sometimes required to deal with death, never disrespectful and always derogatory towards the aggressor.
When I was young if someone had big ears, it was commented that “he could fly to Guam with those ears!” Thanks Mike. I am enthralled by how well you do each episode. And your humour, it is perfect.
Stories might be shocking, scary and sad but it’s your humor that brings me back(and obviously to see how justice is served) keep giving it a go Mike, we support you! 😍
So happy you covered this case! It's insane. I'm from Colchester, spent so much of my childhood and teenage years at the park, went to the uni of essex and the sixth form there too. So strange seeing one of my absolute favourite RUclipsrs (Mike!) show videos and pictures of the town I'm from. I was about 13 when this happened and was already avidly into true crime. I went nearby to the crime scene of Attfield, it was near a playground, and the police were everywhere. It was truly scary. Rest in Peace to James Attfield and Nahid Almanea ❤️, taken too soon by a vile monster.
I went to visit an old friend from uni the other day who's from Colchester and got all of this information while visiting for the first time, I was like 'Couldnt have told me this before I visited could you?'. Apparently she sat next to him in English but he was only there for a short time. A lot of people at the time supposedly thought it was a local paratrooper just cause of the sheer strength required to physically stab someone that many times.
It was covered by one of the British TV channels some years ago (I saw it on RUclips in 2020 or '21), but I'd prefer to hear about true crime from Mike.
That was absolutely THE BEST English accent I have ever heard. For a moment there I thought Mike had been lying to us this whole time and that's how he actually spoke. Haha. Look at me. I actually just took the time to say just that. Man I need a hobby. Love that chapter Mike. Thanks for doing it.
I always feel bad for the victims in these, but the first guy, Jim/James, really got me, due to the fact my mother also got brain damage from a car accident when she was in college. A portion of her occipital lobe just died off, with no chance of recovery, so she saw double when she woke up and had to learn to write with her left hand, among other things. And she wasn't even the worst effected. She's learnt to deal with it, of course, but I just wanted to tell everyone to take driving seriously, don't do it if you're drunk or sleepy, and try to always keep your eyes on the road! Also always carry something to defend yourself wherever you're going to, if you're going alone. Be safe.
Don't 'carry' anything to defend yourself because if you're stopped you'll be charged for possession of an offensive weapon. Just be careful, walk in lighted areas and keep tour windows up and doors locked. And don't give strangers lifts etc...but carry something is just going to land you in trouble.
Thanks for covering this case, Mike. Not only is it nice to get a break from cases in the USA, this one was pretty local to me. I was studying in college in Colchester when these attacks happened, it was pretty frightening. It was all over the local press and on Facebook. The brutality of these attacks are what got the attention of everyone, stabbings in Colchester were and are still are regular occurrence especially in Castle Park but none were like this. There’s a few more wild cases around the Essex area that I hope you cover one day too.
Same i live in Colchester parents up the road from where the girls was attacked. I also walked to and from McDonald’s Astro in morning and evening to play football with my mates where his body was found. Pretty scary stuff my dad was also stopped by police as they was doing checks for a plaster on his finger he had to explain why . Also having being told to stay in from a certain time at night and also the streets lights use to go of at a certain time in the ending did not help
Best community on RUclips in my opinion, not many people can build a community like this, well done on being a phenomenal content creator Mike and we love 'ya

It’s so heartbreaking seeing videos of that poor sweet man talking, then seeing him walking with that little bit of a limp and just trying to hang out and live his life. Ugh. My heart breaks. I wanna cry. Seeing videos of the victims makes it so much more real than just seeing a picture or two. 😢
i grew up in colchester and was living there at the time these murders happened. colchester is a nice little town to live in, very old looking (yes we do have 2 MASSIVE tescos lol). i remember the terror when the first murder happened and everyone was terrified. my brother is autistic and we stopped letting him go out on his own as we were worried this was a hate crime. it really shocked everyone.

Hey Mike. You should take a look at this case in North Bay, Ontario, Canada about a missing/murdered young man named Luke Joly. It's a terrible tragedy. Keep up the good work.
Mike won't do it probably, I tried to tell him about a very interesting case here in New Zealand where David Bain murdered his 5 family members, and he is free at the moment. But this case hasn't been covered yet.
One of the things that irritates me the most is when people defend killers saying "oh they were bullied". They tried that with the Columbine kids, no in reality THEY were bullies. The Parkland shooter, HE was a bully. I got bullied tremendously all through my K-12 years, you know what it did to me? It didn't make me a killer, it made have MORE compassion for people, not less.
People are not defending killers, they're trying to explain why they became killers. An explanation is not an excuse. And understanding why these things happen is important to try and prevent these developments before shit hits the fan. People aren't born as killers, they become killers because of a multitude of different factors interacting with their given personalities. You're right that not everyone who's bullied becomes a killer. But that doesn't mean much because everyone is different. Everyone's circumstances are different. Some people are more resilient, others are less resilient. You don't need to look at serial killers to see that: some people get over mental issues and survive while others kill themselves. And while people like to generalize, in reality, every case of bullying and every case of childhood trauma is unique in some way. Personality-wise you have some major factors like a lack of empathy and a lack of impulse control. These can be caused by early childhood trauma but they can also occur naturally as a result of issues in the frontal cortex of the brain. There are famous cases of people becoming cold-hearted assholes after accidents destroying part of that region of the brain. All in all these are highly complex issues that can't be waved away by saying 'I was bullied and I'm not a killer so it can't be because of the bullying'. Life is rarely that simple.
I too was bullieed for being small and not a tough guy. I fought back as well,as,I could. I survived without returning to violence upon the bullies in my life and they were taught a real bully lesson as prisoners in Vietcong prison camps at the hands of professional bullies.
We are your Goof Troop, Mike. We love you and appreciate the quality of your stories. It’s so apparent that you do massive research. I live in Florida, US and we have the death penalty. Not all states do. Pity them. This would have been an interesting trial to watch.
Mike, I’m always thoroughly impressed with how you can be so informative and serious about the criminal, so respectful of the victims, and yet still make me laugh out loud (you being “creepy” with the butter knife and trench coat. Lol). Thanks for being my favorite RUclipsr!
100% agree with you! Mike is in his own lane in originality in that he can be lighthearted but always respectful to the victims and their families. The other channels have some decent content although it's always SUPER SERIOUS..
One of your funnier videos, Mike! I love your unrelenting descriptions of "wank bags"! Usually, you hold back a bit but this one had you at full steam! Brill!
Poor James. As a professional who worked in the mental health field for 40+ years, I'm astounded by the lack of support this disabled man had. He should have never been out alone drinking at night.
Unfortunately, we see more and more of this, with less and less care for these people. Hate to mention this, but the Highland Park shooter guy falls into this category. It is absolutely tragic.
My heart broke for his poor mother. I have a son with special needs and I can't imagine anything happening to his pure self. He's an angel. So did James seem to be. It's horrific, truly hard to fathom anyone hurting them.
Props to Mike for the historical context, to appreciate the ancient city. Looking carefully in the background, one can see the carcasses of woolly mammoths (possibly knocked off by a prehistoric serial killer). Love ya, Mike- yabba dabba doo.

That's actually a grave misunderstanding of human psychology. People who commit murders like this didn't end up that way overnight. It's a multitude of factors, so of course not everyone who was bullied and had a death in the family will go onto kill. Until we gain a better understanding of such things, we'll just continue to think these people are just "bad" people. It's much more complex than that.

Poor lad deserved better.
And that lass killed in daylight by a 15 year old wing nut is frankly terrifying
All comes down to publicity. They want to be seen as the incentive/reason someone came forward.
Cha-ching. That's what I call human decency
No, one is motivated by clout and offers a reward. The other is (hopefully) motivated by justice and does not.
Right? Because, of course, Crimestoppers is going to come out & get him..
@@Montina_Paullin yeah, crime stoppers will just review the info (who knows when) and at some point pass the info on to police (who knows when) by which time he would be long gone and most likely have found/killed another victim and again be long gone by the time the cops got anywhere near the area,

Exactly, totally disgusting behaviour from crime stoppers 😡🤬
Yeah that pissed me off! She literally took a serial killer off the streets and gets nothing because she called the wrong people wtaf 😳
Yeah, fck crime stoppers. They're creating an incentive not to call police directly in time critical situations. If they've allocated money for the purpose of catching a particular criminal, they should pay out when someone does the thing they claim they want done.
Just goes to show how worthless and fake the BBC really is! Glad I didn't pay a licence fee for many years
I'm just so sorry for the deceased and their families. I'm so glad the dog walker saw him and was safe. His poor parents as well. We homeschooled our kids due to bullying.

@@Raw_Roots Yeah, even if they gave half, $10k
It's so skeevy that crime stoppers have that little loophole; especially considering that that woman was so close to most likely being attacked. They KNOW that almost everyone's first thought is to call the emergency police line, and not Google the crime stoppers number. I guess crime stoppers is only good for strong leads that catch a killer, but i'm sure there are more loopholes they've figured out
Respect what they do in advertising crimes with reward money, but the fact that they dont give the money up unless theyre called shows the reward money isnt because they care, but because they want to become bigger and make more money.
@@turkeyman631
They shouldn’t advertise reward money tbh.
@@msmiami212 Theres a chance your mixing up crimestoppers with the program crime watch (I think it was called). I remember it being on our tv a lot

Me too! Or when they say "The poor guy. He needs help!" No, he needs to stop murdering people.
@@hansmahr8627 Lots of people are bullied and abused , and do not become killers.
Yeah well Capital punishment was abolished in every European country, apart from one so. No Death row in this story
I’ve been hoping you’d cover this case. I was living in Colchester at the time this happened and I still live locally. This was proper scary.
Stop attention seeking. Nobody cares where you lived
Give this woman her money! Thanks Mike for another great vid.
Thank goodness that woman saw him. He clearly wasn’t going to stop.
"When you see someone being creepy, they are probably creepy"

Added to my book of random advice
Mike, I’m always thoroughly impressed with how you can be so informative and serious about the criminal, so respectful of the victims, and yet still make me laugh out loud (you being “creepy” with the butter knife and trench coat. Lol). Thanks for being my favorite RUclipsr!
Ikr😆
For the love of Mike 😳🤔🙃🤪
100% agree with you! Mike is in his own lane in originality in that he can be lighthearted but always respectful to the victims and their families. The other channels have some decent content although it's always SUPER SERIOUS..
Sitting watching you as I recover from surgery I love you so much how you tell it like it is! Rock On!!
@@sarahalbers5555 I totally agree.
What if thats exactly what he wanted to be doing?
@@TheVanillatech sometimes people need to be saved from themselves
My heart broke for his poor mother. I have a son with special needs and I can't imagine anything happening to his pure self. He's an angel. So did James seem to be. It's horrific, truly hard to fathom anyone hurting them.
Props to Mike for the historical context, to appreciate the ancient city. Looking carefully in the background, one can see the carcasses of woolly mammoths (possibly knocked off by a prehistoric serial killer). Love ya, Mike- yabba dabba doo.
Rest in Peace Jim.. heartbreaking for his family
I literally don’t feel like my day is complete without a new episode of the chapter 💙
I don’t usually like videos with a lot of narration, but I LOVE your channel Mike! You are so great at speaking and your voice tone and pitch are really pleasing to listen to. Keep going!! You are great at putting the stories together and I always look for an upload for you! IMO you are in the top tier of true crime creators! 😊
102 stab wounds? That takes a lot of effort. I hope he didn't suffer all 102 of those in a conscious state. That would be horrible. It is horrible regardless of how many he received but...whomever did that...it's just crazy. I get tired just prepping stuff in the kitchen. I couldn't imagine the effort nor the desire to do that to another human being, especially someone who's disabled.
I look forward every night to hear mike soothing voice. He puts me to bed like a rocking chair. He is my anxiety pill 💊
Why do you anxiety at night before bed? That's sad:( I can relate, I have insomina
Mike is that one dependable person you can rely on for excellent steady content!
Always excited for a new ol' video🥰
Thanks Yasmine!
Me too! 😉 xx
Omg...these poor victims, how terrified they must have been 😳☹ Mike's commentary is sending me 😂😂🤣 I love it when he thoroughly lampoons people who deserve it
I love how you share the content in fun way but also serious. True crime told in the best way. Let’s give it a goo
its not tho, jcs ewu crew and some others presenet in a better way, a way where i have to solve it on my own in those 2hours interrogations, here you just ge some highlights and be done with
@@kennethflaming8606 I watch those too. They just do things differently. But my opinion is mine. Go watch whatever you like but I prefer That Chapter over the others!
@@Kara018 then you prefer lesser content, just how it is
@@kennethflaming8606 nope just like different content . I’m open minded and like watching all sorts of view points and Mike shared stuff sometimes that the others didn’t cover. But again your opinion is your own.
It's moments like this that make me really appreciate Mike. Can always find a little humour in such tragic stories (12:25)
The litte jokes always put a smile on my face. Thanks for the positive energy, Mike! 😊🌞
This story is heartbreaking on all levels. A girl from my home country gone to study never came back 💔 and the weak ill man godness. And the worthless killer might get a life out of prison!
What in the world? She LITERALLY did what the name of their organization is......Crime Stoppers. She stopped a crime and more horrifically that was going to happen to her. WOW!
Hey Mike! How ya doin? You have an incredible talent of telling stories- keeping it exciting, funny yet never disrespectful. Congrats!
Great! And yourself?
@@ThatChapter well, off work relaxing with you - can’t complain! 😉
@@ThatChapter We all love you! 8pm every Tuesday & Friday is Mike time, thanks for helping me through Chemo & my illness Sickle Cell making me laugh when I want to cry sooo proud of you! 🙏🏾💜
Agreed! I love this channel 💯
@@badgalriri2354 hope you get well soon
Love you Mike. Keep up the amazing work. Thank you everything. ❤
"I guess we're very lucky that only a small fraction of people are bullied in school and have one of their grandparents passaway.....otherwise we'd be up to our necks in serial killing wank bags...." Yup.... you hit a home run every time Mikey!
Wankbags is my new favorite descriptor
that was priceless
That's actually a grave misunderstanding of human psychology. People who commit murders like this didn't end up that way overnight. It's a multitude of factors, so of course not everyone who was bullied and had a death in the family will go onto kill. Until we gain a better understanding of such things, we'll just continue to think these people are just "bad" people. It's much more complex than that.
@@VioletJoy Pretty sure that was just a joke lol.
@@Psyopcyclops I'm pretty sure he believes that. It's not funny.
This is the first channel I’ve ever checked in with every week like a real tv show for this series. Also the first series I’ve binged watched like it’s Netflix lol I appreciate you Mike!
I’ve been really down and depressed lately. Your channel has a way of telling true crime
Stories with your puns and jokes which always make me laugh. Thanks Mike!
Mike's great but if your depression crosses a line into severe, maybe a little outside help besides Mike might be an idea. Better safe than sorry
I hope things lighten up for you, and that things turn around. I’m glad you have an outlet that makes you laugh. Mike is awesome.
@@markmike7933 I am not now, nor ever have wanted to hurt myself. Quite the opposite. I have bad anxiety and panic attacks. My biggest fear is I’m gonna be all alone in my apartment, pass out from a panic attack and never wake up. Now I know that if you do pass out from a panic attack, the panic attack stops right away and all the symptoms do as well. But panic attacks are so scary and severe that they put you in a panic.
In 2019 I ended my engagement of 6 years.
I lost both my 13 year old dogs 8 months apart, one to cancer in may 2019 and one to a blood infection in Feb 2020. My dogs were my world. I had moved from Boston to phoenix in Jan 2020 for work and I knew no one. So I was alll alone when my second dog died on Feb 2020. When the pandemic hit we went into lockdown and quarantine, I was laid off due to the pandemic and that’s when my depression started to get really bad. I got another dog in Jan 2021, I’ve been working for a new company making excellent money, just moved to Denver for this job but I don’t really know anyone here either. So I’ve been in a funk. I just need to get out of this funk. I really appreciate your concern. 🙏 I do see a therapist and have for 13 years. But sometimes you just feel extra down and alone and being in a new city has left me feeling alone. I’ll get through it. ❤️
@@Lisasanti1 he sure is!
@@JGramazio12 I’m sorry for the loss of your pups. My dog is my world, and I cannot imagine life with out him. I’m glad you found another one, and hope it brings you a lot of happiness and joy. Wishing you all the best.
Hey Mike, just wanted to let you know that I think you're the highest quality RUclipsr in the game. Keep up the good work.
Coffeehouse Crime and This is Monsters are also excellent true crime channels!
Still not mike
Mr. Ballen is also an outstanding story teller. Expand your horizons.
His output is incredibly reliable also!
This is the best TV I've seen in ages Mike. The whole production quality, script and your presentation and storytelling is top notch. Also, Your comments section is always a nice place to be. Cheers Mike!
He didn't have voices in his head, he was just hearing conversations from a few miles away with those giant ears!
7:34 - I LOVE that Evil Dead-esq walking path animation that you did. It really gives you an idea as to how little she had to walk. It would be neat to see this again in the future.
"His hair was described as two to three inches tall." Never heard hair described in height before. Also "he was quite short; excuse me, he was clean-shaven"... how the hell do you screw those two up?!?
I thought the same thing!!! Maybe he was just nervous about public speaking and the seriousness of it all idk 🤷♀️
Yeaa.. you think theyd make sure to get something like the Description of a serial killer right, as to not confuse people.. 🤷♀️😄
I was wondering if I had heard that correctly!! Being short and being clean shaven have nothing to do with each other -that reporter had a MAJOR brain fart lol!! 😂😂
Thanks for all your work on That Chapter, Mike! We appreciate you!
It disappoints me that he never gives credit to his crew. The camera person, boom operator, sound technician, film editor, researcher, director and the canteen crew.
You would honestly think that this was a one man operation.
This is very sad......poor guy.
