My buddy still uses the 2015 iPad Pro I sold him. There hasn't been updates for about two years, but I can't believe the battery is still holding.

This guy's voice is so soothing low key , I had a question I m currently using a 9 gen and installed Gboard , works great but once I switch to document app the apple default keyboard always open , idk what's the issue , but Gboard comes up if I use other apps
The software needs major improvements before I even consider upgrading.

They got rid of the ultra-wide camera, leaving only a single 12 MP rear camera, which is quite disappointing. In addition, the thin design makes it more fragile and prone to bending, even if you accidentally sit on it.
Yeah kind of wierd getting rid of a camera I thought they would go 3 cameras, yet they got rid of one! I am already concerned about the Durability, will be ordering protection immediately! Do you plan on ordering one?
Tab S9 ultra is super thin and stupidly durable, apple knows it would be foolish to make such a thin tablet if it can’t resist bending, im pretty sure it’s just as durable as s9

Apple being apple, they’ll bring it back on the next update or two and be like “we’ve brought back the ultra wide” and try and make it revolutionary haha.

The new iPads look ok , as for the device being thin , maybe I’m old fashioned , but I see it as a negative , I like the devices to have a bit of meat to them , which makes them easier to hang onto and less slippery in hand , even bezels I actually appreciate a bit of bezel so i can still touch the edge of the screen without activating anything.
I still have my iPad Air 4 which I use as a media device , surfing the net etc , the little bugger follows me everywhere.
I would love a big pro model though , however a specced up pro model is getting into sell organs territory lol.
Another thing about spending a bunch of coin on being thin , I would have preferred they keep it the same and give me an extra port like a 3.5 mm headphone jack , yes some of us still use those.
I have the iPad Pro 5th generation m1 with 5g. I might upgrade to the m4 13 inch iPad Pro.

The iPad Air is a great deal better than the new Pro’s. If you care about the refresh rate of your device go for the prior M2 iPad Pro and if you care more about the camera orientation of your device then go for the new iPad Air. Also, there’s a 10th generation iPad Apple just lessened the price for $349.

I preordered the pro 11 inch, the pencil pro and the new magic keyboard to replace Air 5 with pencil and keyboard. I am traidng in the air 5 and will sell the pencil and keyboard. So that will take the cost down a good bit.

Great ipads, but between the nanotexture glass only being available if you get 1TO and the previous gen accessories being incompatible, I feel completely baited.
It does feel that way a bit, but they can’t keep the products cross compatible forever with a redesign they kept it compatible for nearly 6 years 2018 until now, so it was time for a redesign
Actually the air is still 10.9 and 12.9, apple is just calling them 11 and 13

Snapdragon gen 8 4 it will have 4 ghz and other 6 x 2ghz Snapdragon gen 8 4 will be better then Snapdragon 8 gen 3 gpu from last year
Snapdragon 8 gen 4 will barely perform better than the iPad m1. Snapdragon need to put their x elite chip in the next premium android tablet to compete as Apple is just dominating this market.

@@nickackermanchannel well, the previous iPad Pro started at $799, and the new iPad Pro is actually $999. Not only for the elimination of 128gb, but for the redesign as well.
Macbook pro 16 inch with same oled display. Apple is already confirmed macbook pro with oled as M4 chip has dedicated Oled driver core.
That is probably coming in 2025 will cost more than this product though
I guess I'll keep waiting for a mini 7.

@nickackermanchannel True, but I'm just shedding light on the fact that the price increase isn't necessarily justified. I'm excited for it still, though. Definitely a more exciting upgrade than the M2 Airs haha. I think the thinner design is going to be a net positive. We just can't accidentally sit on our ipads lol.

by far the most egregious pricing ever. you need to get 1tb version for nano coating screen. within just a decade, price of base ipad pro model went up by $1k!!! and for what???? still same limited useless device. its not PRO!!!
The more I look into it, I agree. The iPad Pro with 1TB also gives you 16GB of ram and more performance than 256-512GB.

I got the 11“ iPad Pro M2, definitely not gonna upgrade. Since iPadOS hasn‘t really changed yet you won‘t notice the power of the M4. No one asked for a thinner iPad, no one asked for even more power (the M2 was already overpowered). Yes, the OLED pannels are nice, but here in Germany the 11“ Pro costs 1200€ compared to the previous Pro with 1050€. That‘s too much for practically the same experience with just a better display. I don‘t think it‘s worth upgrading from M1/2.

The charging mechanisms would've had to be completely redone to accomodate the landscape front camera. That would explain why the Pencil 2 and Pencil pro are not compatible with the iPads they didn't launch with
Yes, I’m buying the 11 pro, because I need it for the new keyboard, I need this to replace my MacBook m3 pro 16, for when I’m on holidays and need to connect to my office pc, or do something in microsoft office, also it’s light easy to carry and has oled with 120hz, so I can have it in bed for youtube, x, trading accounts and investment accounts. If I can do everything fine on it, I will end up selling the MacBook pro as I already have a mac mini pro m2. For me 13 inch is to big to sit in bed and navigate on it, point is to make it more portable, that’s why I’m trying to replace the MacBook.
I bought the 13” iPad Air and Apple Pencil Pro. I doubled the storage I had with my Air 4. I didn’t get the Magic Keyboard though. I mostly use my iPad for media consumption and really just wanted the Air but in a larger screen size.
Putting the OS aside, if the iPad Pro has a built-in cooling fan, can it consistently produce power on par with that of a console?

No thanks! Over 80% of iPad buyers will never use the "Pro" features! They should've focused on the software! My Tab S9 Ultra can handle soooo much for work related stuff, and it has true multitasking!
I love my tab S9 Ultra although I’m going to give this is a shot and maybe compare them, S9 Ultra with Dex on the tablet itself is insanely awesome
@nickackermanchannel Let us know how it compares! The average joe doesn't need high-performance video/music editing. They need a product to complete basic tasks and iPads still can't handle all the basics.
Thoughts on the Nano Texture Glass? I use my iPad in bright conditions (on a boat) so I’m interested in this but a little disappointed it’s only available on 1TB and above because I don’t need that amount of storage, I feel it should’ve been available across the whole range

What is the problem with Apple with 90 HZ or 120HZ?
Not everyone is interested in screens with refresh rate at 90 or 120 Hz. I have a Galaxy Tab S9 FE tablet that has a screen with refresh rate at 90 Hz and I prefer to keep the refresh rate at 60 Hz, to get better battery autonomy for example.

None of the new accessories work with the old models. None of the old accessories work with the new models. Pencils and keyboards.
