    I also just came back from the GRE test (first time, initial points verbal 160). I prepared for it the last two days, and I listened to this video twice (also I watched gregmat´s essay organization and reading techniques). Even if these words would have not been in the test, knowing them helps to use the elimination technique and deduce other words by their root. Biggest tip I have to give to all of you who are like me don´t really study for various possible reasons, at least check out instructions HOW to read GRE sentences! They are tricky, and you need to be quick to understand if the correct word is supporting or contradicting or positive/negative. By knowing whether you are searching for a negative or a positive word everything gets so much easier. Even if your time runs out, at least guess! you might get a lucky point when otherwise the question would be left unanswered. Good luck everyone!

    I’ve been preparing for the GRE test for more than 3 months now, and as other people suggest, my biggest problem is also vocab. An extremely useful approach to learning new words I’ve used is sticking the word lists on a wall near my desktop. That way I get to see them everyday and practice them by speaking and writing. I also highlight those words I’m struggling with to put a bit extra attention to them. I’m watching this video and it appears pretty realistic, the words are actual vocab words you’ll find consistently in other online resources. So, thank you Sr, from my standpoint you work is laudable!

    I have never commented on youtube, but you deserve a comment. I only have one month to prepare for the GRE and your videos have been very helpful. Thank you!!!
    Quick question- Any recommendations for supplemental verbal material besides the GRE official guide?

    • @TheTestedTutor
      @TheTestedTutor  4 года назад +1

      Wow, I am honoured Ketty. Manhattan 5lb guide is decent, plus the extra verbal book from ETS. And past tests on pdf from ets online. The more the better.
