At the end of the day it’s all about using the right resources and how you approach this test. I scored a 339 (Q:169, V:170, AWA:5.0) from a 296 (Q:158, V:138, AWA:4.) and I had to completely revamp my thought process and approach towards the GRE.
I took it today and did quiet poorly. Although a jump in score like yours would be incredible, I’m hoping for at least 7-15 point jump. I would really appreciate it if you helped me out and gave me some recommendations on what you used to help your score.
Thank you so much for this video Sithijia. I have been so overwhelmed with this whole process as this test is a very big factor in me getting into PA school because of my not so good GPA. Thanks. These seem like solid resources I think my biggest barrier is being able to think under test conditions -- dehydrated while having to go to the bathroom. Got a 170q+164v on the ETS practice, quant dropped 6 points on the official exam. It's a shame that bladder size, typing speed, and tolerance to dehydration are among the criteria to enter grad school

Can you also suggest the sequence. Like for qa and verbal we should start with magoosh and end with ets. So what is the in-between sequence of all other reources?
Hey Sakshi, hm,.. I would probably recommend starting with magoosh and ending with ets, and then I think it doesn't matter too much what you put in between. It's more just like what type of practice you'd like to get. Thanks for watching!
Hi, I am looking for books to practice ONLY Text conpletion and Sentence Equivalence. I have completed 5 lb. Is ETS Verbal reasoning good enough? I have 1 month left for GRE and I want to invest in a book which will give me a good final practice (verbal)
Hey Roe, thanks for watching. ETS Verbal reasoning is probably the best book for final prep because the questions will be very similar to the questions you will see on exam day. Hope that helps! Thanks
Hey Mehroz, thanks for watching bro. I guess grammar is a pretty important part of the verbal section. I think if I were you, I would just practice over and over with these materials until you start to answer more and more correctly. The trick is that you will have to try really hard to understand why the correct answer is correct. So like every time you miss a question, you want to study the correct answer so that if a similar question comes up, you can get it right next time. Thanks again

Thank you for watching, and good luck Shelita!
Does this plan and books list still work for me in this time and month of 2024?
Hey Sunny! Yes, these materials still work because even though the test is shorter now, the material is unchanged.
With the change in the amount of questions and everything does it mean the questions would change or become harder?
Hi Amen, Here's a link to my other video talking about the differences, but in short, nope! The questions are supposed to remain the same level of difficulty: ruclips.net/video/ZgoTKV23X7s/видео.html
Hey Sithija which magoosh workbook is the latest edition going around?
Hey, thanks for watching! From what I can tell, the latest book is the one published in January 2017. Here is the ISBN if that helps: 9781939418913
Is the math strategies book the same as all the quant?
Hey Alex, thanks for watching. Yes, the quantitative part of the GRE is covered in the Math parts of these books
Hi, for Quant, am directing jumping to problem sets in 8-books by Manhattan Series and where I find difficulties then I clear that concept, Ijust want to know is that strategy good ?, bcz I have only 30 days to prepare..TIA
Please do we have to purchace this books or can we read them online?
Hi again Amen sorry for the late response. You can find them online!
Many people say that the Manhattan 5lb book does not represent the real questions on the test. What are your thoughts about it?
Thanks buddy
Thank you for watching buddy :)
Please I need the link for GRE Math Strategies, Manhattan Prep
You should definitely *not* search library genesis into google
Hi, I am from Bangladesh. Can you pls suggest me to get a phd scholarship in English. I am preparing myself for GRE.
the verbal section is really tough for me. It seems impossible to solve those verbal questions on time. suggest something
2:41-manhattan prep gre math strategies
Thanks Nano Star
Your video was very helpful but could you suggest one single book that would contain all of it.
Hi Pratyush, thanks for watching. I guess if I had to choose one book that contains the material, it would be the Manhattan Prep 5lb book. Thanks!
@@sithijamanage okayyy thank youuu
Thanks
Hi sitija,I wanted to know if Manhattan gre strategy prep guide is enough to reach your score?
Yeah I m talking about the 8 book set. There are a set of easy, medium and hard questions...So are these questions enough to prepare?
Hey bud i have like 1 month from now for my test, which should i choose?
Hi! I would first choose the Magoosh Prep! Thanks for watching
Hey bro what if I lost my touch with grammer totally so do I have to build foundation before getting any these resources
@@sithijamanage thank bro for your guidance 👍🏻
how get atleast 18 right in RC questions?
Bro the problem is I am in 4th year now, and now we are having internship as well as placement season has started. I am way confused that now how to study GRE and internship as same time, I had joined GRE coaching, But the problem I was unable to keep up it coaching class as we had Internal Exam of college.
Can you share some tips to focus on GRE, and which online resources we should follow!!!!
Pls read my comment
I think spending a little bit of time every day is the best way to do it! Maybe you can spend one hour per day? And then do a practice exam on the weekend. The most important thing is being consistent. Thank you so much for watching, Pratik!
how helpful was manhattan quizlet rate out of 10?
When should we start preparing for the exam . Like 5 months before the exam or more early??
Hey Yash, thanks for watching! I think 5 months would only be good if you are starting from a very very low score and trying to score at the very top or something. For most people, 2-3 months is the best amount of time (in my opinion). Thanks!
hey Sithija, thank you for making this video, it was highly informative! Although, I want to ask you something. What is your opinion on self-study vs. classroom study (studying in a test preparation academy, like GreEdge or Magoosh) for GRE prep? Which one would you recommend? Which one did you follow?
Hey @musicalnotes I am facing the same dilemma, what did you do finally and how was it? I am thinking of self study from these books and all. What do you suggest
Hey! are these material valid for 2023's GRE as I heard that Manhattan's books are of no use now. Is it true?
Hi Zahra, thank you so much for watching. I haven't heard anything about the Manhattan books being out of date. Do let us know if you find out more information. Thanks!
Please share the link. Thank you for this video
Library Genesis is definitely *not* something to google
