I came here to thank you mate. I've followed many tips given by you and did well on the test day (scored 322). Your RC strategy and vocab videos helped me the most. Keep going on mate. Thanks once again.
Thank you so much for letting me know Kambhampati. It's very motivating. So glad to hear about your score, hope you get into your chosen school. Intending to do some finance videos soon, so you may want to stay tuned for that!
@@TheTestedTutor hope so 😄... Best of luck mate ... I wish you all success :)
@@kambhampatishandilya9317 hey, could you tell me what kind of questions did you see the most on the quant part? I'm taking the test on the 24th and I'm really anxious. What did you find the most challenging on quant?
@@ananyapanda._ hello ananya.... I got three quant sections... So one of them was experimental.... In total, the quant section was easy ( I had only two months of preparation ). There isn't any one particular topic that was tested the most ... I got two to three questions from every topic... But I didn't get many questions from standard deviation and quartile... The data interpretation section was very twisted... So please concentrate more on that .. all the best for your exam :)

The way that I tried to remember erudite is break it up to e-rude, and you can think of e as ex so you got ex-rude, which is not rude, then think of not being rude so it’s educated.

you can remember erudite by thinking of the book Divergent: "a new dystopian world. In an attempt to prevent the outbreak of war, humankind broke into five different 'factions': Erudite, for the clever, Amity, for the peaceful, Candor, for the honest, Abnegation, for the selfless and Dauntless, for the brave"
Hi, I'd like to say that I knew quite a few words that were mentioned here. I'm almost done with Barron's 1100. However, I found these examples quite easy. I'd really be more than delighted if my verbal section turns out to be this easy haha. What is your take on it? Are these questions of the same level that appear on teh GRE? The ones on the ETS book seemed pretty challenging!
Also, should I look at any other word lists? I was considering going the advanced sections from the magoosh flashcard app and Barron's 333 high frequency (most of which I believe has been covered in the 1100 list). Initially I thought I'd do Word power made easy but i didn't go with that book because a lot of people on Quora adviced against it. I regret not doing the book now. I just have 16 days left until I take the GRE. What would you suggest?
These were only a one blank question so yes quite easy. Nothing substitutes for a full practice exam. Especially Manhattan
can you please explain why corroborate doesnt match Q6?
On which website are you practising ?
Excellent sir. Sir may you guide me regarding essays. Which type of Tenses are used on the Issue & Argument Tasks separately?
Sir kindly guide me as quickly as possible b/c I'll do the exam at 27 Oct. I belong to Pakistan.
In 6th question, there is corroborate and bolster having similar meaning.will you clarify this?
Yes similar meanings. Corroborate is more technical and focused on evidence and testimony, bolster is more broad...
Got 15/15. Taking GRE in 2 days hope I can get a 165!
How much you got??
Did you get 165?
Thanks
And thank you Asma!
Stunning work. But a small correction, it is Desiccate not Dessicate.
Thanks Karthik!
Okay, I'm kind of anxious now. I just saw on your other video that you've mentioned the magoosh app for words. However I used Barron's 1100 app instead and didn't do the magoosh words. What should I do?
If you have time you can do Magoosh before the test. Don't stress too much though!
@@TheTestedTutor okay! Are the advanced words important according to you? Is it fine if I just do the basic and common words flashcards?
@@TheTestedTutor I'm sorry if I'm asking too many questions. It's just that I've been preparing for 2 months now and there are just 15 days left for my exam and I'm yet to complete 7-8 quant topics from the 5lb book and now I find out that the words I've been reading aren't as relevant for the GRE. I haven't even taken a full practice test yet. I'd thought I'd dedicate the last week to practice tests. My plan has gone haywire.
I like this. Maybe 1 a day would be welcome to all your lexiconologists.
Excuse me, I cannot get why did you choose BOLSTER rather than CORROBORATE, since these two sound the same to me, thank you!

i really appreciate your lectures. However ,I think there is something wrong with the audio of this video.

at 9:26 why corroborate is not correct.
Yea I have this question too.
I looked up online and it says corroborate means
confirm or give support to a statement, theory, or finding. It is usually used in research. E.g. Recent research seems to corroborate this theory.
Bolster means to support sth.
@@uttonio Do you know why it is not correct now? 😂 I don't know yet.
Bolster is better. You more corroborate/authenticate evidence, not a case/argument.
I am sorry at 09:04 corroborate could me also right??
Hmm, maybe, but bolster is better. You more corroborate/authenticate evidence, not a case/argument.

your videos are of great help, thanks. but for this video volume was a bit low
9:20. Why shouldn't it be Corroborate?
Appreciate the video. Watch the ego lol
It's hard lol
I think your video could be more efficient if you would not focus so much on ensuring viewers know you were right/wrong or you being perfect on the test. Still, a good resource you provide.
Fair point. Does depend on your definition of efficiency though: I want to maximise viewership and an element of competitiveness/humour can help with that.
You are absolutely right. Your talk make me pinpoint the scenario and memorize words efficiently. Even for recalling purpose, I remember your funny or whatever talk on every word. @@TheTestedTutor
