I've heard about the proposed Stratosphere coasrer before - & a bit about Arrow's history - but never heard them put together so informative yet enjoyable in our video. Well done!!! Fantastic stuff!!
It’s a shame what happened to Arrow as they were iconic in the industry when I was growing up. I didn’t ride X when I went to Six Flags Magic Mountain as I was too scared. Nor sure I’d have rode the one at the Stratosphere either. Nice to see the Shah of Iran with Walt Disney, now his involvement in the story of Disney's Persian Resort and the other 2 cancelled Walt Disney World Resorts would be an interesting one to explore.
This project has always fascinated me! Crazy how one coaster could be such a blow for an iconic coaster manufacturer. Also, the little Leviathan cameo at the beginning made me inexplicably giddy 🤪
That ride would've been positively insane!!! I can't believe people were worried about the neighborhood feeling tacky when they were living next to the Vegas strip lol
Thanks for watching! Would you be able to share your source? From what I can see, Cedar Point's Corkscrew opened in 1976, as did Revolution. However, Corkscrew at Knott's was the prototype and opened in 1975.
@@StorybookAmusement also I did only see that it CLOSED 1989 so sorry for correcting you since I'm wrong lol just heard that and looked it up also im sorry if I was a bit rude in that comment I wasn't meaning to
😆 You’re good. I’m always willing to learn if I got something wrong. It’s happened before. I was genuinely curious. It’s always fun to talk about roller coasters no matter what!

Such a shame to see an iconic company fall away like that but wow they certainly went for it at the end. Brilliant video and fascinating!
Without Arrow, we wouldn't have such classics like Carolina Cyclone. 😅 Your fave, right? But thanks for watching!

I appreciate that so much! Thank you.
Thanks for watching! What's the tallest coaster you've been on?
Top Thrill Dragster!
The current record-holder, Kingda Ka 💯

Orion
Fury 325 at Carowinds, I hope to go on an even taller one eventually

That is such a Pi way to put it, and you're so right about that! 😅
awesome content. Thank You For Sharing. have a Nice Day!❤👍
Thank you so much!
"Who wants to live under a roller coaster" ME!!!!!!! I don't care about the noise I get a front row seat to watch it all day
A SEJ 101 SIGHTING??? IN THIS ECONOMY???!?
Sometimes I appear, sometimes I don't. Such is the way of life. Same as it ever was
sorry to correct you obviously but the first corkscrew did open at cedar point 3 days after six flags magic mountain revolution

I forgot to leave a comment on this one. I would have love to have ridden this
Surprised I got comments on this without mispronouncing anything… or did I? 😳
@@StorybookAmusement you get so many more comments, what's the deal?
They’re all paid actors.
@@StorybookAmusement I knew it! can you give me the agencies number?
This would’ve been crazy! Tallest I’ve been on was Millennium Force.
Ah, a classic! Well thanks for watching as always!

I was wondering if someone would catch the Shah of Iran clip. I'm impressed! Would love to get on X2 myself someday.
Thanks for watching as always!
@@StorybookAmusement I do like these Easter Eggs in your video’s.
I hope you get to go to Six Flags Magic Mountain, I think you’d love it.
