    I was made aware of the binding from another tuber.
    When I got mine I confirmed it did bind.
    Initially thought it was going to be an axle joint issue. I found that its only the tire rubbing on the tierod. I will change the wheels but for now a .40” to .50” spacer on the hex cures the binding in the front at full steering lock!

    Can you fit the traxxas shocks on the scx24s? They’d probably need different springs or oil to compensate for the lighter body but could be cool

NEVER had a problem with a traxxas ESC: mini slash brushed, mini slash brushless, mini e revo brushless, 4tec brushless, trx4, Slash Ultimate, UDR, maxx, Xmaxx and a spartan. NOT one single ESC issue... and I am not friendly at all on my poor spur gears and tires. identified a ton on your collection list and positive experience with traxxas... ive even come to sell my other brands bit by bit due to the ease of ID Lipos.

    The circles get tighter on both because the pressure on the wheels on the inside of the curve decreases when driving faster, so the locked differentials have less of an effect on the curve radius. So this is due to the weight shift to the outside 🙂

    Why do I hear everyone say people in mass complain traxxas are junk? I have an old ass Axial scx10 RTR deadbolt, heavily updated over my runs. A Gmade Buffalo, newest toy and really enjoy it, needs adjustments and mods. Redcat gen7, my basher I'm heavily modifying, but barely have used. And a TRX4 sport kit. Absolutely loved the build of the trx4, the quality, durability and the performance is just outstanding. Minor mods have helped performanceeven more. My trx4 sport has become the one I play with the most, no breaks, no issues. Now I love the sxc10. Got me into the hobby and I've beat the tar out it as my oldest crawler. Sweet vid bro! Going to pickup ours tomorrow afternoon and going trailing. My buddy bought the bronco for him and the defender for me, so that’s freakin rad! @@V8chump
      Hurt the turning radius? How? By widening it out, it actually turns better. Literally I was talking about a shim or washer and Dustin’s scx24 bronco was already running +4mm hex extensions. Did you think that looks bad? 4mm is only 1/5 of those tires. You’re welcome to your opinion on what looks cool but widening it out enough so it doesn’t rub shouldn’t make it look bad and should help the turning even more.

    • @V8chump
      @V8chump Год назад

      @@texomarcwidening my scx24 ruined the turning radius, can’t remember how many mm it was extended though, think +5 each corner. If your wheelbase is too square the truck will turn like shit no matter what, the back tires won’t pivot because the diffs are locked so no matter how much steering angle you get the width will ruin turning unless you have fully open diffs because the rear tires still need to rotate, fact (unless you got a DIG unit up your sleeve). The widened look is opinion sure, I’m js if you’re goin for a scale looking truck it’ll throw it off

      Why does the truck turn better with a little speed? Maybe slight more roll to the outside causing less weight on the inside allowing it to slip a little more while the outside grips and pulls around? Do it in second with the fcx24 and it’s super tight, especially when the inside wheels come all the way off the ground. Also, maybe just having a little more speed allows the traction to break easier and it’s not pushing as bad. Having locked difs, it wants to go straight, hence two wheeling makes it turn way better. At the slow speed, the tires don’t seem to break traction as much, for whatever added reasons, and it’s going to push. The higher grip the surface, the worse it’ll get.

      When people upload their video it comes out 360P until it finishes uploading and then you will get the full effect he set it at. At least on my videos that's how it works. Usually takes about an hour for the best viewing picture to be ready.

    Axial, Vaterra, Traxxas. always have problem with basic math. It's probably very difficult to divide original size by ten, or even move comma one position if they can't divide. For them 1/10th scale is in fact "random" scale somewhere between 1:11 and 1:7 according to body model and axis. Shame on

      These days I think most RC manufacturers use 1/10, 1/18 and 1/24 “scale” as a classification for a vehicle rather than a true description for their RC’s. That’s why you done see every single option of “scale fractions”, these designated size indicators let the manufacturers broad audience know roughly the size to expect of an RC vehicle, not the mathematical exact dimensions or measurements of a shrunken 1:1 vehicle 👍🏻

      @@UpperLeftRC but at thr end of the day you have jeep xj on the garaz with 313 wheelbase against pajero from tamiya real 1:10scale) and on the picture your garage looks like a child's cheap chinese toy because of different, not real car sizes

    As we all know, a bone stock scx24 is a turd so why would it be any different for the Traxxas. After some upgrades tweaks and whatever the Hell Voodoo bcochener can come up with, it should be a tried and true crawler

      Yea I think it’ll perform circles around the upgraded scx24 once you throw some wheels tires and brass on

      Stock for stock the Traxxas is a better truck in just about every way in my opinion but if both are fully modded I don’t know which one I would like better 😎👍🏻
