There's a slight dip between the tail of the skate board and the deck so the angle actually increases for a brief period when the rear tires hit that dip that's why they kept wanting to unload in that same spot.
Nice side by side comparison! looking forward to seeing it progress from stock to a more capable truck but it already seem pretty great right out of the box!!
Cool video. Looks like the 24 scale Bronco's were too light in the front, thus the backward flips. Interesting details with the angle details. Thanks for sharing!
@@flhandster4395 Hey FL, it’s a camera mount a zip tie to the controller so I can film and drive at the same time. I tried using one hand to film in one hand to drive, but my thumb isn’t long enough lol. I can post a link of what I use or even show a video if you’d like to see.
Hi folks. I’m looking to get my first crawler. Is the high pitched noise inherent in all these trucks? I noticed it a bit on the Axial and a bunch in the Traxxas. Just curious if that’s just how these are. Thanks.
I used lead strip for stained glass windows in my rims. I removed each tire and found the rims have ribs. Those lead strips fit nicely between the ribs. I did have to cut my strips in half but that gave me enough for 2 vehicles. I am sure the lead weighs more than brass inserts but this way I am not spending money on bead lock rims, tires and weights. Since I got the lead free, this was a no cost solution to the problem of flipping over easily. Both vehicles now weigh a bit more and I did use 2 1/4 ounce wheel weights on the bottom of the body one on eather side. Now if the vehicle does flip, many times it just rolls back upright. I will be leaving them as is now. I did add an aftermarket lighting harness. I would have made my own ,but I didn't have any 3mm clear LED's. Using a futaba extention and two Y harnesses and a few 3mm LED's you could make your own. I live in Northern Mi, its cold alright. Not much snow.
Sounds like a good solution! I got some family that lives in northern Michigan. Seems like they get way more snow than we do. Hope you’re not doing too much shoveling😁! Thanks for the comment. I’ll check out your channel.
@@goreyboggs . Yeah, but just saying that the wrangler jlu is a more capable crawler as stock than the bronco, but if you're interested in scale details rather than crawling ability, then the bronco wins, but in your test Traxxas trx4m is better ( if only it had the features of the 1/10 trx bronco)
I have a few ordered as well! I can’t believe the quality. I am so impressed and I really didn’t think I would be! When you pick yours up, Make sure you bring extra money. You will want to buy a couple more lol.
Right on! I never really did good in school!😂😂. Seriously tho I wanted to show side by side comparisons so each potential buyer could make a decision. Thanks for watching!
Stock I got 44° on the Axial. (My phone doesn't measure tenths). I tested without the roof rack and interior and got 45° Removed the tire and got 46° Looks terrible without the tire though. Rooftop accessories 7g Roof rack 4g Interior 11g Spare tire 11g
Only 15 seconds into the video and I tested this today with a stock defender mini and a gladiator that is stock as well gladiator definitely claims angles way better
Hey Jon! I’m probably the only creator on RUclips that doesn’t get WPL stuff for free! Lol. But I’ll see if I can pick one up on Amazon! What one do you recommend?
@@goreyboggs nope I preordered mine and saw sitting behind the counter at the hobby shop. I gotta wait until next Friday to pick mine up. I was able to get a high speed trans and a light kit for it.
I thought going up backwards. I gave it a good try. I’ll do it again though this evening if you want. There is no doubt the SCX24 is just a bit more top-heavy and doesn’t have to weight distribution. I think the tracks TRX4M being longer is helping out quite a bit.

Missed a title opportunity “TRX4m vs SCX24, what’s the flippin difference?!” Lol
😂🤣 man now I need to do another video! Lol. Great thumbnail

the scx24 has a hard body with roof rack, thats why it flips (top heavy) , the wrangler version stock can do 56 degree!
I believe you, but I’m showing how they do stock. And to be fair the TRX4M has a hardbody. TRX4M for the win😎

Trx4m Size comparison to wpl c24?
