Sorry about the spelling of Wildtrak at the start of the video - IT'S LITERALLY WRITTEN ON THE SCREEN 😂 - Sean is now living peacefully at the bottom of the river crossing we used at the end of the video.
The road noise test is fantastic, and it proves how this channel listens and incorporates feedback - just like the popular soft roader off road capability test. Keep em coming !
First time I've seen a reverse speed test, very interesting. Fun fact: the Falcon XR6T had a max reverse speed of 80km/h. Fun times doing that on the HWP advanced driving course :)
My VW amarok the passengers need seatbelts in reverse if you floor it from a standing start, its limited to about 45km/h, not fast enough to spin the front a full 180 deg around unless to road is wet and slippery
Awesome video. Really liked the road noise test. I think that’s a great element of your reviews to keep. The windows down In the rear was a new one as-well which is handy. Ford really have made the hilux look ancient and outdated again.
This is my favorite car review video. I love your format, you give me so much information and so much detail and I'm so engaged throughout. I love the cruise control test, love the reverse test and I love the outside B - roll footage and how well it is synced. Keep innovating and introducing more stuff and you honestly have the best off-road segment in the industry. I would recommend a night time drive to teat out the lights, the ambient lighting and the interior usability at night. I would also recommend you get some copyright free music to test out the audio system cause I believe we are able to discern the difference from one car to another.
Loved this review format and the inclusions. When you get to test the Next Gen Everest like this, can you please include a demo / test of how the park assist works? Also would love more inclusion in these segments on safety ie airbags etc, suitability for child seats / passengers etc. Thanks for these thorough reviews, has made pandemic therapy shopping expensive but awesome 😂
Hey mate, thank you so much for your amazing reviews. Just got my Wildtrack in Luxe yellow and I’m over the moon. This is my first Ute ever and honestly I’m enjoying every bit of it. Opted for 4 cylinders and honestly no issues, a decent engine and drives beautifully on highway and in town (knowing Canberra is not really ‘urban’. Had to wait 6 months for mine; would have been another 9-12 months for a V6, which is another factor behind my choice of a 4 cylinders. As you say in your review, the engine is very very good. Great addition of the cruise control and lane keeping assist segments, they are one of the most important factors in modern vehicles in my opinion, great great addition to the vid

Just a quick public service announcement: DON'T put disposable cups with hot liquids in the dash mounted cup holders!!! Unless you want some scalding liquid in your leg in case of a sudden stop, sharp turn, or an accident of any kind, that is xD Those cup holders are better suited for bottles with caps. Agree. I'd go the Raptor if it had a decent tow rating. I know the rear coils etc de-rate it however I'm sure Ford could have got it a bit higher. Would certainly give the Y62 a bit of competition for those who want a ute vs wagon.

I drive the absolute wheels off it so the heat cycling and a few big water splashes may have finally killed it but I really can't fault the 2.0 for what it has been through

Good as usaul Paul. I've had my V6 with touring pack for 1 1/2 months now replacing a Px2. The Px2 was a great but this is something else, I love it. Why the Wildtrak did not get the full size digital instrument cluster I will never understand (At least as an optional extra). All four windows should have been full-auto and the ambient lighting extended to the rear as well. I hope the B&O sound system sounds great?
Great to finally see lighting inside the rear tub as well as the return of the centre tie down points which tight fisted Ford decided to remove from the PX3 Ranger, leaving just 1 in each corner. I had to buy my own and push a hole through the blanked off plastic bed liner to reveal the hidden bolt holes at the back.
Huh, I own a PX3 Ranger and the tie downs in four corners annoy me too. I didn’t know they previously had them in the centre, think I’ll do the same as you 👍
@@DanG90 Remove the single bolt and put your new tie down bracket in place or use one of the other tie down brackets. The 2nd bolt hole will be directly behind the other bolt hole in your bracket. Just get a screwdriver which easily pushes through the plastic load liner. I haven't a clue why Ford decided not to fit it to the PX3 whilst still leaving the threaded bolt holes behind the load liner.
Aaah at last, the review I was waiting for 🕺🏾. My best detailed reviewer Paul, I’m always looking forward for your reviews. You deserve more than 1M Subscriptions 🙌🏾. Much love from South Africa.
An awesome review Paul & team. You had me convinced to switch over my 2020 Amarok V6 580, went out a test drove one at a local dealership in SE Melb. If I hadn’t just spend a small fortune on the Rok adding accessories, one would have been on order. Morel of the story is if you share this review, with your dad and tell him how great it drove…he’ll then ring you up and tell you he picks up his new ranger on Monday. 🥹 Making you jealous!!
Love it, great review as always. Those bars on the tub (rails??) above the tonneau cover are awesome. Will definitely increase the utility of the roller cover. It will be interesting to see how many people choose the 4 banger as opposed to the v6

Much love from South Africa.
Great review ! Thank you. Best review I have seen yet, by far. Can't wait to take delivery of mine next week in NZ.
I purchased this exact color and model, since the Philippines doesn't have the V6 option.
Great review Paul, and congrats on the production and editing!
Awesome review, I really enjoyed watching it!
Been waiting for your review! Coz i know it’ll be the most detailed and comprehensive review. Ford Ranger will be launched later today in Malaysia and we are excited 😆
one of most anticipating cars for this year.
Thanks for the chapters, more reviewers need to do this. Maybe separate the tray into its own chapter. Cheers.
