FYI for those that care: Procharger is the name brand of a Centrifugal Supercharger. It is basically a turbocharger housing that's belt driven. Pros is that it is much easier to install than a turbo charger and power increases as RPM's rise meaning no Turbo Lag. Cons is that it isn't as efficient as a turbo which can make more power at lower boost levels due to it's efficiency ( less engine drag meaning more power). Anit-lag is very commonly mislabeled as 2-step. Anti-lag purposefully sends unburned fuel in your exhaust manifold to explode and spool up your turbo charger. Two step just keeps the rpm at a set rpm to assist in launching. This does shoot out a little bit of flames if they pull timing to lower that rpm but it's main purpose it to lower the rpm. N/A and S/C vehicles benefit from this. If you are shooting flames from your N/A or S/C vehicle during 2-Step, you are putting needless stress and wear on your components.

Yes, get you some springs on the Scatpack. H&R, Eibachs or KWs just to make a few. You’ll love the car even more with em. The look and ride. You get used to your car being lowered, and you’ll know how to drive/navigate with the new height. I have H&Rs on mine.
Awesome 392 man. That is my favorite trim level. And Im sure those lowering spring wont effect him in any negative way since the SRTs have active suspension out the factory. I can only imagine the ride man. Just awesomness

Especially since you track this car. I actually have a friend who had a whipple supercharger running 7 pounds exactly like you. The motor held up for a while but recently blew up (two holes in the motor) and now he is having to buy a whole new 6.4l hemi (392) motor with forged internals
Did the same with my Challenger. Went with the mighty after cooler which dropped down 2" with my floor pan. I went with the silent system but yea you can still hear the purge. The difference between you and I is I have the 8 speed auto, huge difference when shifting. When I am in sport or track mode I kill vets and mustangs, its the transmission that get them. Built a daily driver that does freeway traffic and is fun when I need it. YES, I need more traction ;)
That trim piece you thought looked like carbon fiber is actually aluminum and the pattern is called hectic mesh. It comes standard on SRT's and with the appearance group option on Scat's. Thank's for the vid.
Your reaction to the two-step reminded me of an experience I had recently. One day I was just cruising with my windows down and this fucking Camry, I swear it was straight piped or something, but it just came flying by and literally my ears were ringing and I felt disoriented. It sounded horrible, and I felt like my ears were violated. Although this guy’s 392 on the other hand sounds amazing.

Dude you have to go to the strip and get some quarter mile times and see how it runs! This thing was built for the strip and I'm so hyped for when u try to get the best time... When u get tires I'm guessing mid 11's or low 11's which will be insane! That's actually faster than most AWD twin turbo GT-R's(r35). Your SP is pretty loud, but the SRT totally drowns it out and can barely hear you lol. It's kinda hard to tell from this vid, but I'm thinking that is indigo blue and not PCP paint. Was considering pro charging my SRT8 Challenger, but am leaning more towards a thumping cam instead because I like that old school shake and will definitely do long tubes as well. It's already got good exhaust from the cat's back on it, and consists of 3" pipe together with open chamber racing bullets and allows for reso delete. It's diablo tuned and has the basic mods, but I'm ready to add some decent power and will have it dyno tuned afterwards by a local SRT specialty shop in Phx AZ

@@roboticvenom1935 not the same motor. 6.4 l vs the hellcats 6.2 which has forged internals already since it comes boosted. That's why you hear about 392s blowing up because the pistons are not built for it
This might be a dumb question but when he starts his procharged challenger there seems to be a lag in the exhaust system is this due to the procharger, the headers or something that he has in his exhaust system. I like it. Is sounds almost sounds like having a highlift short duration cam. I’m trying to weigh getting a Whipple or the Magnuson versus the pro charger.

I just ordered lowering springs, stainless works headers cat-less mids, volant CAI, and CNC Ported 87mm TB for mine, 2018 scat pack. Also going to do a mid muffler delete. If you have an M6 go for the Barton shifter much smother transition between gears. On the 2018, the skip shit automatically turns off in sport mode. Just for some who are not in the know. I definitely love my scat pack, just upgraded from a 13 RT 5.7 auto
I'm dropping mine off Saturday at Modified By KC for them to start on a stage 2 tuner package D1SC with bigger injectors and fuel pump for my 2016 SRT 392. HP Tuners will be getting and unlocking the computer for programming. Let the fun begin!
Do you happen to know how wide his wheels are? I've got a hellcat, and definitely need wider tires. I seen some hellcat replica wheels on Ebay 11" wide, but unsure if they would fit. I was hoping to bump up from the stock 275, to 325 or 335. Please let me know if you can. Thanks, Brett

The comparison roll looked a lot like a stock Hellcat vs. a Scat/392 car. Im sure he has quite a bit less into it than the price of a Hellcat too. Definitely a clean shift too. All around solid bolt on ride. Id like to see an update video if he ever does the bottom end and turns the boost up. If he does up the boost, and wants to get serious with the rubber a 345 will fit....got use the "lil devil" fender flares though. Great support group with that company too.
Perfect car. Would be my exact choice but I would probably want the b5 blue paint instead of the dark blue. But the dark blue is really beautiful so I might end up getting that color instead
You should tell that owner to get a water meth system set up on the car spray the nozzle into the throttle body plenum I have it on my Procharger challenger make some serious power and keep the air temps down going in
Smart adding the wider tires. They look great sticking out a bit. Yep, I'd drop the R/T Scat. Challengers look amazing lower. The R/T sits too high IMHO. R/T Scat w Dynamics package sits low like a Hellcat / SRT. Great video!!

I have a '15 SRT 392 with new MT pro comp tires in the mail. Now looking for springs and can't decide between H&Rs and Eibach Pro-Kits. Any suggestions from those with either set up?
you also have the 8 speed torque flight SO, if you get the same exact mods as Said youll actually be a bit faster. those wide wheels throw rocks all over the body behind them, scratch city.

There seems to be a trend of these things blowing up under boost without forged internals. If he don't have them forged I'd say it is blown by now unfortunately. Otherwise I would boost my scat too.
It’s still running haven’t had any issues and it has been 2 years now on the same setup 7lbs of boost. Looking to drop in forged pistons and rods and crank the boost up to 10 lbs.

Way late to the vid but have a question, did homeboy's engine hold up ? I've always been told the 392 is close to maxxed out and req major work for a blower/turbo. Hope he's still going strong, great vids man, cheers.

The comparison roll looked a lot like a stock Hellcat vs. a Scat/392 car. Im sure he has quite a bit less into it than the price of a Hellcat too. Definitely a clean shift too. All around solid bolt on ride. Id like to see an update video if he ever does the bottom end and turns the boost up. If he does up the boost, and wants to get serious with the rubber a 345 will fit....got use the "lil devil" fender flares though. Great support group with that company too.

Perfect car. Would be my exact choice but I would probably want the b5 blue paint instead of the dark blue. But the dark blue is really beautiful so I might end up getting that color instead

You should tell that owner to get a water meth system set up on the car spray the nozzle into the throttle body plenum I have it on my Procharger challenger make some serious power and keep the air temps down going in

Yep, I'd drop the R/T Scat. Challengers look amazing lower. The R/T sits too high IMHO.
R/T Scat w Dynamics package sits low like a Hellcat / SRT.

I have a '15 SRT 392 with new MT pro comp tires in the mail. Now looking for springs and can't decide between H&Rs and Eibach Pro-Kits.
Any suggestions from those with either set up?

you also have the 8 speed torque flight SO, if you get the same exact mods as Said youll actually be a bit faster. those wide wheels throw rocks all over the body behind them, scratch city.

did you made a video on your grille change? I know the SRT 392 comes with the two rectangle grille pieces, I love the hellcat SRT grille like yours.
No I didn’t make a video on the grille but the owner told me that he had to make some modifications for the hellcat grille to fit his 392.
@@KCars Is there a way you can find out what kind of modifications? cutting the car? or smaller mods? The SRT grille looks sick on them.

There seems to be a trend of these things blowing up under boost without forged internals. If he don't have them forged I'd say it is blown by now unfortunately. Otherwise I would boost my scat too.
It’s still running haven’t had any issues and it has been 2 years now on the same setup 7lbs of boost. Looking to drop in forged pistons and rods and crank the boost up to 10 lbs.
