TURNING LINES OFF 'ABOVE' STAIR CUTLINE

  • Stairs in your floor plans do NOT have to show every single riser, nosing, railing, etc. especially when it's ABOVE you! This Revit Tip will show you how to turn off all that visual mess so your plans can be nice and clean.

    hi mike thanks for the video, just inquiring , when documenting the design are we able to hide element the remaining Tread number of the stair that are above the cut line ( treads above ).

      I wish. But no.. they are all connected to this parameter.

      @@miketaylor8211 Mike I love your videos. You're awesome and I hope you're doing FANTASTIC. I wanted to ask, once you turn these off in your floor plan, will they also be off in your callout or will your callout be unphased by the change?

      @@IndieBassJA26 Each callout is a separate view.. so you will need to turn those ‘above’ lines off in the callouts too!
      You may want to make a View Template to apply to all of your Stair Plans (callouts).
