Stop judging... such a great message Shaan.. I feel our whole lives revolve around judging, from everything to everyone .... if we learn to unlearn judging , life would be so much better xx
Feel the feelings but keep doing what you’re needing to do. Just like you allow palpitations, dizziness, and so on, allow feelings. They will pass. Every time you try to feel a certain way, the opposite happens. If you try to chase a positive emotion, it doesn’t work. Feelings are not goals in and of themselves, they are results or consequences. The response is the same, they are so under the anxiety umbrella. There’s no right or wrong, good or bad, no judgement about your feelings. Don’t put a narrative around it. Accept them, allow them. You sabotage your recovery by judging them. How you feel is how you feel. Let it happen.
I’ve been trying to do this. Thank you for sharing. For me I also have Lyme so I’m constantly scanning my body and the sensations mimic panic. I’m trying to just allow it. My diet isn’t the best I’m trying to work on eating better and more frequent so I don’t skip meals when I feel nervous.
Your channel had drastically helped and changed my perspective on 'nervous illness'. All other channels were emphasizing on the symptoms rather than how to actually cope and recover from it.its obviously a gradual journey, but you can certainly have a full recovery ❤.
I still remember How Your video helped me about intrusive thoughts when I had a break up and I was afraid of talking about it , didn't know how to cope it . Even still , I am kind of a person who is afraid of people leaving them
This was huge for me Shaan! Go crazy, sadness, lack of motivation etc. You sure hit it on the head as always! It's funny how anxiety can be your best friend and worst enemy!
I went threw panic attacks and anxiety twice in my life now I just got over it again a few weeks ago, I can tell you it is very possible to fully overcome it.
Great stuff Shaan! I never thought to put feelings under the anxiety umbrella as well. I wonder if this in a way is how people without anxiety should handle their emotions too. Anxiety has taught me so much. I'm currently going thru the dp/dr stuff and am seeing improvements with just allowing it. Thanks again for these videos, they mean the world to people like me.
i feel like i’m at the stage of recovering where i’m trying to feel happy again. it all started with a huge panic attack that turned into anxiety derealization and depersonalization but i overcame both of them now i’m just in a state of depression i can’t laugh with my family or friends and when i do i’m forcing it i also have a weird numb feeling in my head that just throws me off and makes me sad. i think overcoming this will fully heal me because i basically don’t have any physical symptoms anymore
NGL I went through a few of your videos and I'm not exagerrating when I say it felt like you were in my head. I started thinking I could be getting brainwashed. Chasing something just empowers the belief in your mind that you haven't caught it, and you thus you will never believe you have caught it.

Hey Shaan! Very good video. So do you think it is also important to adress thinking habits while accepting everything. Like i see a lot of people who are struggling have the thinking habits they may have had all their life without realizing which fuels anxiety. Like catastrophising, need to control everything, always getting 100% guarantess that smth bad wont happen, hyperbolisation, perfectionism, etc.
