Great video! FYI…use the NEMA 14-50 plug when at the camp sites. Noticed it was available for use. Normally you have to flip a switch to turn it on. It’ll give you something like 100 miles overnight charging.

Did you use camping mode to run heat or AC overnight? How did it work? Any disruptions? I’ve seem some other videos on RUclips where camping mode failed to work as expected. Was this an issue for you at all?

Yes, and we had to restart the AC using the app on our phones through the night.

If you just start driving the charger port will automatically close. Congrats on your R1S! Looks like your camp site had a 30A/50A charger. Your Rivian came with a plug for that and you would have charged a lot faster. You just pull the 110 plug and replace it with the 220. One last thing, did you use the self-leveling feature? That’s my favorite feature when car camping in it.
