The Komondor reminds me of Sam Sheepdog in the old Bugs Bunny cartoons. He always beat the crap out of Ralph Wolf. Ralph Wolf's score never rose above 0! 💪😄
Only Kangal, Alabai and Great Pynrenees are real working dogs in this video. All others are show breeds, which does not work as LGD. You can find many videos that show Kangal or Alabai chasing wolves but not much for Irish Wolfhound etc...
This guy is true fuckin dog lover. If you don't know Ilyiran Shepherd (Šarplaninac) where I'm from, you don't know what a powerful dog is. There's a movie about one killing two wolves. This dog bravery is unmetched. Also we don't know his bite force, but it's form 600-800PSI,but it's not tested as many other breed's.

Dood video, you delivered on the title of the video. Nice change from so many charlatans copying someone else's content and using a clickbait image to get views.
Correggete.
It is surprising that the Alaskan Malamute wasn’t included in this video, given their historical role and capabilities in the Arctic. The Mahelmut Inuit, who developed this incredible breed, relied on Malamutes not only for pulling sleds and hunting but also for protection against wolves. These dogs were trusted to guard the community and resources, often facing off with wolves when necessary. Wolves, highly intelligent predators themselves, learned to respect Malamutes. Malamutes were bred to work and survive in the harsh Arctic alongside apex predators, unlike many other breeds. They developed a unique combination of strength, intelligence, and resilience, allowing them to defend their people and pack effectively. The Malamute’s sheer size, strength, thick double coat, and incredible endurance made them formidable opponents for wolves. Their ability to stand their ground and protect their humans earned them respect from apex predators like wolves, who were deterred by the Malamutes’ presence and strength. It’s essential to recognize the role Malamutes played in the survival of the Inuit people. Their contribution went far beyond being working dogs; they were protectors and guardians in one of the harshest environments on Earth. Omitting them from a list like this is a significant oversight, given their historical significance and the respect they commanded from wolves.
As great as Malamutes are, they are not in the same class as these very heavy, powerful and aggressive dogs. You might as well include every single medium sized breed then...
I think there might be some confusion here. Alaskan Malamutes are often mistaken for Siberian Huskies due to their similar appearance, but they are entirely different breeds with distinct traits and capabilities. Malamutes are far larger and more powerful than Huskies. Male Malamutes often exceed 100 pounds, and some individuals surpass 150 pounds. Although rare, 200+ Malamutes also exist. Malamutes are heavy, muscular dogs bred to haul massive loads in extreme Arctic conditions. A 150-pound Male Malamute holds the world record for pulling 5,600 pounds in a weight-pull competition! What sets Malamutes apart isn’t just their size or strength. They have a rich history as protectors, working alongside the Inuit to defend their communities from predators like wolves and even polar bears. Their intelligence, resilience, and ability to strategize in conflict make them formidable adversaries.
Ican not see any of these breeds defeating a Timber wolf in a one on one battle maybe a sub-spicies like the smaller ones in Europe. But not against a grey wolf 150 lbs. or more it would take two or three Kangeldogs
Large Tibetan mastiffs in person are huge I agree tho still need a pack of dogs one on one. it just depends on personality at the time some wolfs are timid so are some big dogs
Timberwolves are not much bigger than Grey Wolves and there are many Grey Wolves in Turkey. Americans like to exaggerate everything. The biggest Timber Wolf, which caught, weighed about 175lbs. There are many Kangals or other LGD breeds, which have more than that....
@jamesweston3679 why do you think lsgd are kept in packs. Even the kangal which is taller and heavier than the central Asian wolf. They wear spiked collars for a reason! A wolf will always run if out numbered coz of self preservation unlike dogs but a cornered wolf is gonna fight any dog to the death and kill it if it ain't ill or still young!
