Have you ever had a parking ticket for parking in your local supermarket because you’ve stayed over 30 seconds past the 2 hours? It’s not actually a parking ticket; it’s a bill for parking.
Before 2012 you could have ignored those but since then, they are enforceable, and they are enforceable bizarrely enough against the registered keeper.
The worst thing you can do is ignore it. If you get one, write back to the Company and tell them that if they do issue proceedings against you, you will defend them.
It really isn’t worth them going to court.
You can of course appeal them to the Parking Association, POPLA, but in my experience, it’s a waste of time, paper and a stamp.

I had a parking charge notice for a courtesy car I had for overstaying 14 minutes in a Parkingeye run carpark. I was scared into paying the fine but after doing research I found that they had breached a number of the BPA guidelines. I since appealed but they have rejected. Is there any way I can take Parking Eye on in claiming my money back that they unlawfully scared me into paying? Thanks
