This is Herman G. I have MS and I have been working out with you guys for a couple of weeks. This is a program I can do. I’m on section three doing 14 reps and trying to lose weight so I can have abdominal hernia surgery. I have lost 13 pounds in the last 12 weeks. I need to lose 10 more. 😊. Thanks for the encouragement.
hey everybody thanks for the votes of confidence I started at 469 I am now down to 439 I can actually see the difference in myself which motivates me even more if your just starting stick with it
HIYAAA , WELL DONE , IM NEW TO THIS VID @ AROUND 280LBS , BUT I HAVE FIBROMYALGIA & OSTEOARTHRITIS IN MY KNEES + IVE BEEN 18YRS AGORAPHOBIC, SO I WOULD LOVE TO KNOW HOW YOU ARE 4YRS DOWN THE LINE & *CONGRATULATIONS* YOU ROCK ... X ...
Great job you can do it! I was at 464lb's. down to 393lbs. Believe me the struggle is so so real. Once again myself and countless others are with you on this journey. GODS BLESSING.
I love that you have a person of size in this video. It can be intimidating watching someone half your size easily doing something that's getting you winded.
I know this was posted years ago, but I’m glad I’ve discovered it now. I’ve been having a hard time trying to find exercises that doesn’t put so much straight and stress on my knee with being as heavy as I am. Thank you so much for showing the gentleman as well. It helps to visualize someone like us to see the workouts too. I propped my phone up and followed along so easily and I feel amazing about myself. Thank you!!!!🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰 Edit: OMG I started doing this a month a go, 3x a week along with healthier eating habits and I am proud to say I’m now down 21 lbs😭😭😭😭😭😭 THANKS FOR THIS!!!! 🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳
Hee hee same here‼️ ✨👍😁👍I have my phone propped up on pillows😁 ‼️ Just starting all over as a former MAJOR workout freak ,as in gyms holuc BigTimE. I'm only 5 ft so the disgusting ( to me) amount I've gained is too noticeable 😤😒 but the buck stops here‼️💦 Not to sound like. a nut or anything ,I just responded because your propping up the phone comment 🌜🌛 is ironically exACTly what's goin on over here but I do hafta say ,( I'm a normal female!) Your lil pic here w comment is damn beautiful💪😁‼️ Good luck w all this ! Doing it too rt now at 230 am 🤗💦💦‼️🌜✨🌛
I'm 55 with titanium hips and lower lumbar spine. I walk in the pool at the Y but now that a pandemic has hit I needed to find something to keep me working out for my body and even more to clear my mind at home. I am down 65 pounds with 40 to go. Wow did this do the trick! I am sweating and feeling the burn, I used cans of refried beans and they really gave me a challenge, can't wait for tomorrow to do it all again! THANK YOU FOR THE INSPIRATION
Stacey… you may not see this since it’s 2022 now, but I just stumbled on this video and loved it. I saw that it was several years ago and when I tried to subscribe I didn’t see any more video that the women and man did. I’m reaching out in hopes you or someone will see this and fill me in on where I need to go or if they even finished out their videos. It’s the best one I’ve found for me and would hate to only have this one to use. Hope I hear from you. Thanks. Treela
I started yesterday alone, and quite enjoyed it. I weigh 385 lb. Today I did it again and included my nephew who is home schooled. He is eleven and ADHD and Autistic. And he is very large for his age, 11 years old and wears 2-3x clothes. This is something we can do together before we start his schooling. Thank you so much for doing this.
back in April I decided enough was enough... I weighed 440lbs and my diabetes was getting worse ... I went to diabetic classes and started changing the way I eat ... I found your site last month and started doing these exercises... my weight is now 403 (the lowest it's been in over 5 years) and my a1c is now 6.2... I have no plans on going backwards and just want to thank you for providing this service 💜
Good on you! Keep going! How inspiring you are! I am on the weight loss journey also and hearing that others are doing it makes me confident I can too! Good luck to you x
As am i, i am doing good, losing weight, doing more exercises that i thought i could never do..eating simple foods, way less meat..anyways i was tipping over 300, now very close to 200..to all obese people, just move, walking in the house, climbing stairs..good luck to all..keep the faith, it's one day at a time. 😊
I just found this video and seen your comment here. I am starting with these and I am 500lbs and would like to know how you are doing with your weight loss? I have been finding a lot of people that are or were just like me and it helps to know that they did it to let me know I can do it. Thank you and from the comments you have here you are doing great and I hope you keep up doing so.
I am a big girl with sever arthritis in both knees and now starting in my right hip and both ankles. The most walking I do is going to the grocery store once a week and I REFUSE to use the electric mobility carts.. unless I am in SO much pain I cant stand it. I am just starting on my journey to better myself through better food and exercise, Which your videos here are making the exercise part a reality for me. Not only am I doing this for me, I am also doing this for my youngest daughter whom weightedin at 300 lbs yesterday at the age of 16. I am currently around 400 lbs. With your guy's help, that will be reduced greatly for both of us! Thank you SO much. P.S. I was a gymnast, played soccer, soft ball, basket ball, spelunking and LOVED to bike ride long distances. My weight problems started when I was diagnosed with kidney failure at the age of 34. I went into a super deep depression where everything eventually didnt matter anymore. Including life. I prayed for God to take me home to heaven, to release me from the constant sickness I felt from renal failure and depression. Food became my one and only relief, and even after I was finally taken off of dialysis because my kidneys healed enough so that I could (btw..this is rare and I thank God for this miracle) food remained my constant companion. I was off dialysis, but the depression stuck with me, and the giving up on life and everything around me was VERY hard to over come. It took me years just to be able to function again without always wondering why I should even bother. What I am trying to say here is.. You never know how, or why any person became as heavy as they are, or what their story is. In the end, we are all human beings. Small, large, black, white.. It doesn't matter. Dont judge the book by its cover. The story inside might be a very interesting good story.
+Terri Madwoman : Woo Terri, you inspire me. I want you to know, your story is motivating someone you'll never know---just like Rob does in his videos. Thanks for posting your story and keep on pushing forward with your workouts. Add music. I find that helps.
but sadly in the end, it WAS bad diet. However you want to dress it. We might have multiple reasons for eating badly, but it doesn't change it that we ARE eating badly and I really hope your daughter isn't following the same path. Hearing someone at 16 weight this much is scary, so please, find help for whatever problem you both have. Therapy, anything.
Hey Jessica! This workout is supposed to be done in a Series, so each workout is one day. You should be doing 3 to 4 workouts a week, so for example on Monday do Episode 1, on Wednesday do Episode 2 and on Friday or Saturday do Episode 3, then the following Monday start on Episode 4, and so on. If you're feeling strong then do 4 workouts a week and just repeat your favorite episode for that week. We wish you good health on your journey!
Can you please point me to the other videos so I have them on hand? I'm 370 and had just started my journey when I got a leg injury and condition that keeps me from standing. This video is such a blessing not only from a big person standpoint but a chair bound one. I want to make sure to keep following you as I get strong enough to stand again!
ive been obese almost my whole life and ive always wanted to work out but cant stand the thought of people looking at me and judging me i just did this whole workout in the comfort of my own room and i felt pain in all areas wprked on and i love it. thank you so much for this. it gives me hope that i can work out n not have eyes on me.
Oh wow. ... exactly what was looking for! With having fibromyalgia and being obese (368 lbs) this is something I can do! !! Very excited! ! Thank you! And please feel free to follow me on my journey to thin living!

hi I don't think that you will reply but I am the same. I have fibromyalgia and would love to get your opinion on some of these exercises. I can do them well for weeks the I have to start on level one again when I have a fibro set back. Do you experience that as well?
+A Fat Girl's Journey OMG I have Fibromyalgia too and have gained weight from the meds and not being able to exercising like I use to love doing I miss it sooo much.
Worst thing i find is being so big and my pain. I feel better when i have ecercised but i pay for it. Pain out of the world. But weight stabilizing a little. Some days i just cant fight it and sit on the couch all day. I also get depressed because i feel usless in my family. Everyone does everything.
Yeah I understand that I am trying to loose some weight if I can other wise it's to help with my mobility basically. But I have a wedding I am supposed to attend my niece's so I wanna look half way decent.
I have lost 18 pounds its hard work but its great I have degenerative disk disease so standing for long periods is very painful I also have hip impingement. This is awesome like rob said if I can do it so can you. Lets all lose weight together.
I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism which is difficult to keep weight off. I started out at 460lbs and with one month of doing this workout i am at 413lbs. I have done so many workouts but never had a result like this one. this is the first one that has made me feel comfortable and has given me a result. i wish i had found it sooner
Thank-you Marjorie amaya posadaz and congratulations!! Rob Graulau will be very happy to hear about your progress. Don't stop though, keep working out 4-5 times a week and you'll be amazed at the changes you'll see. Also stay tuned as we've got a whole bunch of surprises coming soon!
I just started this workout and would love to see the kind of results that you have seen. You inspire me! May I ask, are u following a diet as well? If so, what kind? PS: Congratulations on your success! :)
Yes IanzGurrl i am following a diet as well. I am on a low carb high proteins and no sugar diet, as well as no bread or grain. If you want more info or recepies that will help you feel free to send me an inbox message....good luck
I am 62 years old. I have so many illnesses that I call myself the family medical record. I have 2 autoimmune disorders that have me paining like you wouldn't believe but even though I was in a little pain I scheduled Fridays as my day for chair exercise and said to myself, "too bad I'm gonna do it." I searched RUclips and found you! Luv iiiit! I'm now a subscriber and will be seeing you every Friday. You got me breathing hard and sweating but it's all good. See ya Friday!
I’m a 6’6” 54 year old weighing in at 491lbs. I have had 7 surgeries on my left knee and no cartilage in either knee. I started this program today!! And I’m so excited about losing 150lbs!!
I had a BLAST working with Trainer Sara Castro during today's 1st official episode of Workout LaunchPad. I am very thankful to the Owner and founder of BodyLastics and LiveExercise Mr. Blake Kassel for the opportunity to share my weight loss journey with you every Monday, Wednesday and Friday! Also shot out to Mr. Antony McGregor for all of his support as well! Looking forward to episode 2 on 2/6/13! God Bless :)
Dear Sarah and Tod or Rob... I have been disabled for ten years now. Anyway I have suffered the usual weight gain and limited mobility. I had bought a treadmill because I used to walk three miles a day outside and realized if I had the treadmill, I could use the treadmill no matter what the weather was and in whatever I wanted to wear. However even the treadmill would aggravate my left knee and it would take ten or fourteen days to get the pain under control. So my activity level dropped. My energy was gone and my body was always fatigued no matter how good my sleep was. I have a five year old grandson and one year old granddaughter that I want to play with and knew they would really work me over. I wanted to get in better shape to be able to ENDURE. My son recommended Yoga. While searching out that activity, I came across your series. I decided to act... and the first three weeks I lost six pounds. My energy is up. I never take a nap during the day, and I feel good which is probably the most important factor. Anyway I wanted to thank you and extend my appreciation on how good I feel your videos are. I see you both every day.
Disabled also and knees make mobility painful. I have a bit over 150 to lose. Need to get a chair without arms for this, had to stand for a couple cause the armrests got in the way. Shoot, I'd be happy to just get the 50 off so I can actually move better. I've two flights of stairs in my house, it's a split level. My bedroom is down, my kitchen and bathroom are up. I actually have to 'climb' up my stairs, using my arms to pull myself up due to how easy it is from my knees to give out at any time. I'm going to keep up with this, though I might stick with ep. 1 for a bit till I am able to do it easier. (I'm using 16oz water bottles, I hope to move to cans after a bit.) Then I'll do Ep. 2 and so on. Once I'm doing them better, I'll start using my 3-4 lb weights to do it all the way through for the week. I'm really wanting to get my mobility and stamina back, menopause and a few falls have taken a toll on me. The fact 7 doctors tried to get me into aquatic therapy due to how damaged my knees are... (I used to be a dancer & had a rock band, all females back in the 1980's - it did repetitive damage to a section of my knees inside.) and over 10yrs they tried while my insurance refused. They also refused therapy when I feel even though it says I qualified for it. They even said no fo therapy for lymphedema after I had cancer! But it's all I have for medical. I'm hoping to get a pool, my cousin said he'd try and get one for me. I have tried above-ground pools, but getting in and out on a ladder is frightening. So he's thinking of building a deck for me to get in, though I'm not sure how to get out and back onto the deck. I'm glad I found this, I've used various therapy videos before to get me out of my wheelchair back in 2013-2014 - I'd bought my first pair of sneakers in June of 2014. On the 12th I was diagnoses with cancer. So it was a high and low in the same month. But I really need to get this weight off... I didn't grow up heavy, in fact, I was about 130 till my daughter was born, ending up over 200 lbs. Took a few months, but since I held my weight proportionately, I got the excess 68 lbs off. But then 4yrs later I had the twins... which must have killed my elasticity cause I've not been able to get back down. Since 2014 I've been over 300, dropping down to 289 a few times, but if my activity level goes down, the weight goes up. Healing up after falls kills the wt. lose every time. 2020 really got bad cause I wasn't able to go out. (I'd been going to the aquatic center to swim. It's the only time I lose & don't end up injured.) Depression, loneliness also didn't help. Instead of eating, I tend to not eat as I've no appetite and feel nauseous if I do try to eat. Thankfully, my sons showed up to ride out the lockdown with me. I can't always eat if I'm alone, but my boys won't let me go hungry. My older boy is a wiz with different soups. My younger likes to make sandwiches or omelets. Plus they made sure I had plenty of fruits and veggies. (I raised them on a Mediterranean diet growing up.) Wish me luck, I need to do this... I need to lose weight not only to move better or my health, but I want to live longer to be here for my kids as well as myself. There's a lot more living I want to do, right now, I'm not fully living.
I weigh over 400 lbs with some pretty horrendous hip and back pain and I am so excited by this video. I just started today but I know this is something I can do without causing me more pain. Thank you so much!
Wow an actual 25 minute workout I've been able to follow through all the way...everything hurts now but that means it's working right? lol I needed SOMETHING I could do I have a massive phobia about being around people (non family) so I've been housebound and sedentary for probably around 5 years or so now, Last time I weighed myself I was 554 pounds but that was probably close to 3 years ago. Nowadays I can barely walk to the bathroom (right around the corner) and back without my legs and hips hurting and my lower back feeling like it's exploding and I have 0% energy so being able to do this has given me quite a bit of hope (I've put it on my watch later list to try and make sure I watch and do it once a day to start with.) Gotta say I'm glad Rob kept saying "Don't forget to breathe" though because I had...when he said it it reminded me to do it XD
I’ve been on my weight loss journey for almost four years. I’ve went from 550-390lbs playing this same video while also trying to maintain a low-carb diet. Don’t forget it is a process-don’t beat yourself like I do when you fall short. Keep going!
I'm very happy that I found your video series. I'm a former high school/college athlete that quit exercising but kept up the same eating habits. Now I'm 50 years old and I've had 4 knee surgeries and I'm 6'6" and am about 490 lbs. Went through several years of chronic depression and picked up a LOT of weight. Today was my first day working out with you and I'm looking forward to making a change.
These videos are a Godsend. I went from hiking and working out at the gym to nearly wheelchair bound in only a few years. These videos will be my go to resources for staying healthier and getting fit again.
I definitely appreciate this series. I just found it. I was diagnosed with Epilepsy @ age 26 (5 years ago). Between being unable to do certain things I once did (i.e driving, boxing, etc) and my anti seizure medications, I've gained a lot of weight. I think this is a safe start for me. I'm ready to take my life back! :) Thanks for posting!
Thank you guys! I'm heavy and sedentary. This is exactly where I can start. probably not 12 each. To start i may have to do 6-8 moves each. praying this sticks and I'm able to stick with it!❤
Starting this workout today, July 2020. I’m 6’1” and 350 lbs, working an office job for 10+ years, and I have pretty bad back and hip pain. I was glad to find something that looks tailored to someone like me, something I can do without increasing my pain. So, I’m trying this along with intermittent fasting. Wish me luck!
I think I’m gonna try this starting today, I have a desk job as well and can barely move without hurting. I have been intermittent fasting off and on but this is truly motivational!!! Good luck to you! Oct 2020
@@lorilong3454 I found a series of workouts I am liking even better. "Chair Workouts" is the name of the youtube channel. Some of them are a bit much for me but several have been very good
@@Ch3rry475 frankly the intermittent fasting didn't seem to do much for me other than help me about the late night snacking. But the chair Workouts v have seemed to help increase my endurance and lessen the frequency and intensity of my back pain.
Sarah & Rob I love you two I have MS and my strength and mobility has really suffered since Covid I just finished my tenth day doing your chair excercises I’m really enjoying doing these workouts with you My honey and I’ve been dating for four years now We both have Over 100 lbs we need to lose. Eric and I are trying to motivate each other 😊 Thank you soooooo much Stay safe, peace & love
I am over 400 pounds I have a nutritionist but they usually recommend foods that are just too expensive for me. This workout is just the right amount of activity in just the right amount of time. I want to say thank you
You can definitely eat healthy on a budget. Just stick to whole foods- fresh fruits and veggies as the main part of your diet and I think those are affordable. Lean meats, beans, tofu as well. For starches, brown rice is a great option. If you stay away from processed, packaged foods, you're already winning half the battle. Good luck.
I weight almost 280 pounds, have fatty liver, and a hurt knee. So I'm going to try this workout as well because I'm just 19 and I can not allow myself to get any worst. Thank you. You all give a sort of push towards doing better just by reading all your comments on such workouts. Because it means im not the only one wanting to do better.
William Graham HONESTLY SPEAKING its not about the food. kids eat all kinds of food and stay thin the majority of them anyways. Why though? Why are they able to do it? its a simple trick that nobody wants you to know about because this is HIGHLY INEXPENSIVE. you won't need their advice, you want need to take their pills or watch their infomercials. limit the portions and keep up the workouts. you will never be over 400 lbs again. see how ez that is? its that simple. We are all told to FINISH OUR PLATES but our parents never included portion control they just filled up our plates and demanded we eat it all. Smaller portions mean less money too! a serving of chicken is 2-3 ozs of meat. Most stores sell meats by the pound but one 1lb of meat (16 oz) is actually 5 servings. You are on your way to a smaller U because EXERCISE IS THE OTHER EQUATION. Food cannot be burned (metabolized) without proper ACTIVITIES. KEEP WALKING. and do this workout you see, I swear you will lose at least 15lbs per month.
slater1ist I have already lost 18 pounds with portion control and the workouts I am going to keep it up because I need to be around to play with my grandbaby
im a big guy and ive always put off doing exercise because i have it in my mind that im not doing anything because i dont see it. i just went through this video and i felt the muscles work and i worked up a sweat. i plan on doing this daily now for awhile to see where i get. feels good :) hopefully i keep at it
I'm shocked that people are shocked that there's encouraging comments here, and no one making fun of anyone. Obese people are majority of the time the nicest, and most mature people ever. They know what its like to be made fun of, or be told they aren't good enough just because of their weight. They don't want to make anyone feel like that. Anyways thanks again for making these. I suffer from gout flares so I needed something similar to exercise for obese. I can't do anything where I lean on my knee's at the moment so I am just doing the one's that I can, or adapting it as best I can until the gout goes away.
You're welcome! We believe exercise should be accessible by everyone, young or old, overweight or very fit. Enjoy and let us know if you need any assistance!
I've been looking for an exercise program that is easy and fun. Being obese it's extremely hard to fine one that I like and would stick to. Seeing this video on RUclips is awesome. I love the encouraging words from both Rob G and the instructor. They made me feel like I was in the room with them! I even purchased the entire collection so that I can get rid of my lower back pain and lose weight!
Injury 30 yrs ago ruined mobility and more. Your Stage 1 Ep 1 guided me from 260 to 230 and counting. I esp like you encouraged 'smile' after a few sets! It's great to smile at accomplishing this! So glad for you two! Thank you Sara and Rob!! 👍🏼👍🏼
you guys are life savers. I had pneumonia twice which render me using oxygen 24 hours. I am overweight so losing weight can help my quality of life. Thank you for these videos..I don't feel so alone fighting to get healthy..keep up the good work..I showed up today and worked out yeah me
Omg 😳 thank you for your video it's tailored for big people not just skinny and she said that it's ok if you can't get your leg as high as mine get it as high as you can. 😢 that was awesome because I didn't feel like I was doing it wrong 😒 because I can't get my leg as high as hers . She even says it is ok if you can't get it as high as mine your getting it to height for you just keep doing it. So thank you so much. All the other videos I found made me feel like I was silly looking or doing it wrong but this reassured me that as long as i am doing it is all that matters. ❤😊
You can tell this guy is in a good place in his life. He looks good working out in that chair. really confident and I'm quite sure he's not this size anymore its 2015 now.
This was my first day of exercising with you guys. Haven't been exercising my emotions are low but today is a new day and I did my first workout with you awesome.
Tammy Boughter I was watching an 18 yo athlete say something I never thot about he said, "I work out even when I don't feel up to it. I work out when I'm mad. I work out when I'm bored, I work out when things don't go right at school. I made working out MY JOB". DO THESE EXERCISES LIKE YOU WORK YOUR JOB (if you work) you go to work the same way. when you are bored, sad, mad, lazy you still make it to work. so you still sit down on that chair and work out. MAKE IT YOUR JOB.
I was 314 lb, my Nutritionist recommended these videos and I'm loving them. Today is my fifth day doing them and feeling great. Thank you From Chicago my Nutritionist is UIC love her and all her help for leading me to this Videos
For me its not so bad yet that I cant leave my chair, I still go to amusement parks and conventions and stuff, but its getting harder each year.. Im so glad I found this video, Im too shy and scared to go to a gym with all those fit looking people, and all the fitness videos with skinny people doing jumps and quicksteps just dont work for me (or my downstairs neighbors, lol). Its a good first step to becoming fit enough for regular exercise again. This is a perfect daily thing I can to as a "toll" to pay before I allow myself a videogame. Just watching a favorite show while doing these will make the time fly by, too. Thank you for understanding that we need exercise for the shape we are now, and not for the shape we want to be.
"Thank you for understanding that we need exercise for the shape we are now, and not for the shape we want to be" That's it! Couldn't have said it better myself
Awesome. 80-90% of it is diet. I used to be morbidly obese myself. Start very small concentrate on good nutrition and keeping hydrated. Build up slowly. I am a Personal Trainer. I lost 150% myself, I know how hard it is!
Debora I feel the same way have been really trying to walk but it is so painful I can walk around the house and to the mailbox but I can't my block its too far.....On a great diet have changed my eating totally no bread, sweets sugar potatoes hardly no fruit at all just baked meat lots of veggies and salads has brought my blood sugar down so much but the wieght is coming off to slow for me after 4 week had only lost 7 lbs so I think this will really help me
Teresa Graham Well done you. Sometimes it takes a long time to lose weight but you are doing awesome. I lost 140lb it is hard, but you are doing it 100% the right way. Every blessing from Ireland
I have once again started my journey and am so excited to find your channel. Unlike others, I love it that you offer encouraging tips and words for those of us who are starting from a 99% sedentary life. Thank you!
I literally think I might cry Im so happy to find this series. Im very overweight and part of the reason i havent been able to lose is because i developed chronic pelvic pain during my two pregnancies (physio helped get me pain-free day to day but anytime I add ANY exercise like walking, cycling or swimming im right back in serious pain). I really thunk I could do this and never thought of all the ways I could work out sitting down. Thank you for thinking of us big folks!!
I just started this today and I wanted to say thank you so much for posting these videos.I've been trying really hard to lose weight and get my PCOS and other health problems in check.I've lost 11 pounds so far with the diet, but was struggling to find something that could help me be active and moving without feeling discouraged because I can't do certain movements.I had tried other types of sitting workouts, but just couldn't find one I liked and clicked with until today!! Thank you again SO much!! I finally look forward to working out again and know that I CAN do it.Thank you for giving me hope again that I can get my life back! :D
tiffyb19 If you liked this original Launchpad series you're going to love The Launchpad Project with Rob Graulau?pageId=105323916572676825394! It's a pro-mental health, body-positive program designed to get you moving and feeling great. Checkout the project here and be sure to share it with your friends! @fightobesity
This is awesome! I have 125 lbs to loose due to knee replacements and foot surgeries gall bladder surgery! This is going to get me walking again coupled with juicing 16 ozs, of veggies 5-6 times a day! This is also great for inclement weather! Thank you!!
Thank you so much for this. I kept wondering why after ea workout I wasn't able to walk so I went to see an ortho who diagnosed me with osteoarthritis in both knees, one is bone on bone. Needless to say I stopped working out due to the pain. I miss working out but I felt intimidated going back to the gym after therapy. Gained 40lbs from not being able to exercise like I use to. Went from doing a 5k and jogging on the treadmill in intervals to now barely able to walk for 10mins at only 1.6mph. This is really a blessing for me and others like me.
I just came across this about a week ago. I’ve let myself get so over weight that it’s causing health issues but exercises were so hard. I can’t do like everyone else. I’m still at the beginning of my journey but I’ll get to the end eventually. This is where I begin. Thanks for these videos, you’re really helping me
Omg! Totally saving and doing ALL of this. I am a new personal trainer and this is PERFECT to help my elderly clients as well as the larger clients! Thank you so much!!!
I am in the process of trying to have gastric bypass surgery and my nutritionist wants me start exercising. I'm so glad I found this series. I did the first episode. I am so happy with myself!
Hi Sarah, I found your workout video tonight for the first time and I love it. I am 63 years old and currently have lots of leg and knee pain which has hindered my participation in an exercise program. I am overweight and would like to lose 75 pounds. Until tonight, I hadn't found anything that appealed to me for getting a good workout.. Thank you. This video is so inspiring. I have friends who are obese that can benefit from this type workout in the privacy of their homes..without others staring and sometimes, laughing at their efforts to lose weight. I look forward to your other videos and will tell others about them. Again, I thank you so much!
I’m going to start this today and build up to faster and stronger things. I’m grateful I found this because weighing 400lbs is extremely bad for my body and I’m going to start fixing it ASAP!
Oh My....I am so happy to see this workout! I am working on losing weight and it is so difficult to exercise when you are obese like me. So thankful!!!!
These are so great! I've been looking for a good exercise series I can get my mom to do, she's overweight and suffered a foot injury about 7 months ago and it's still hard for her to do lots of standing stuff. She feels like it's impossible for her to do exercise and lose weight, and I feel like this will be good for her! I keep telling her that even if she starts small, as long as she's consistent there will be results.
I'm an amputee, and working on losing weight. I am 450lbs. with high blood pressure, diabetes, MRSA, cellulitis. I came across your videos and like to say thank you so much for making these.
Hey Brian, welcome to the LiveExercise family! Remember the journey you are are on is a long one, there are no quick fixes or overnight solutions. It takes routine and dedication. The secret is to not miss a workout but if you do, don't beat yourself up about, just don't miss the next one! We look forward to working out with you.
Oh, man, this is going to help me so much! This is precisely what I was looking for! I'm sitting at 565, and I've got to get the weight off - standing is a nightmare for me and exercising standing up just will not happen! Thank you so much for this, it'll work beautifully!
i love how positive and encouraging the gentleman is! i feel like the world needs more videos like this. I am very fit and fitness is what I hold my degree in. However I am aware of how discouraging it is for people to watch videos of really fit individuals doing workout. stay positive people! continue to work hard and push yourself, you can only cheat yourself, YOU GOT THIS! fitness is a marathon not a sprint!
now this is what i wanted to see. not just some buffed guy or some hottie guiding the workouts, but also the inclusion of a fat man doing it as well. i know calling him fat is mean and rude, but i used to weigh 375 lbs. over 20 years ago, so deal with it. this is definitely my new favorite channel.
Welcome to the family john randall! Although we don't like to use the word fat Rob Graulau is working hard on his weight and not putting out excuses. Stay tuned as we're working on relaunching our Launchpad shows very soon!

***** this is not a get slim fast workout. This is a build your energy levels & get onto your feet again workout. If it's a fast thing it likely won't work. Not only to mention that but the people who need to work out sitting down are WAY beyond a 90 workout or quick fat burning thing. This is a lifestyle change.
Yeah. I agree with John. Rob is inspirational and gives me confidence I can get through the workout. He's so encouraging and the reminders to breathe were great.
Quick but effective depending on ur own intensity. Thank u Holly 3 days n I lost 2 lbs already. Please keep making these videos, if 4 nobody else but me n u!!!! My aim is 80 lbs.
I'm so out of shape. I'm only around 204lbs but have never exercised in my life. It was so hard to just lift up my legs. I can use this as a daily routine since I'm always at my laptop. Then I can do light cardio.
THANK YOU SO MUCH LIVE EXCERISE!!! My husband broke his ankle and leg a year a ago and he is over weight and limited range of motion he wants to get fit so bad and we are different fitness levels. I am so happy to have this and exercise with my husband and help him get fit and healthy. My fitness level is great, I was a professional swimmer and I felt the burn. THANK YOU AGAIN MY HUSBAND IS SO HAPPY THAT WE DO THIS TOGETHER.....LOVE IT
So excited to find this. Today was my first day. My health issues with my lower body has made it difficult to work out and I have been gaining weight. My doctor told me to do sit down zumba but I found this and I love it. Excited to do this daily.
After gaining weight from medication 2 years ago and spraining my ankle I gained weight and havent been able to lose it. Thank you :) I love this. I will try this a few times a week. Wish I found it sooner.

LiveExercise I am trying to go to the link you provided, but it shows me just an empty page. Is the project cancelled already? Thank you for your great videos!
I happened upon this by accident but I really love it. 10 months ago I was diagnosed with breast cancer I weighed 388 pounds after chemo ,surgery and radiation I am down to 347 . Now I needed some exercises to help me get in shape for my new life. This is just what I'm looking for a good workout and nice people Thank you
Now that I have reached the dreaded 250lbs, my knees are giving me a hard time. They are stiff and my back as well. I can not even walk up the stairs to go into my house without sweating! So regular standing exercises are a no go for now until I lose a few pounds. Thanks for putting this together.
Thanks so much I know the video is not up to date but it's the best exercise segment I'm able to do athritis has got me hurting so bad at times I'll start something one day and the next day I couldn't barely raise a leg when to says shake out the soup cans well I was shaking them I was eating what was in the soup cans I got so additted to carbs fried chicken was my best friend but not now I been then this exercise for 2months and 4 days a week my I'm diabetic and this the first time my sugar has-been under 400 I thank God first and I thank God I might give out but I'm not giving up so let's continue to pray for each other God got us thank y'all so much keep putting it out there
I was so happy when I found this workout video......I am 267lb 3 months ago had back surgery, have type 2 diabites, high blood pressure.....I have been on serious diet for about 5 weeks and sugar is way down proud of that but have only lost 7lbs. I have been trying to walk but it is really hard for me and hurts so much everyone says it will get better but to me its worse. Yet I dont want to give up I have been fat since the age of 15 and I want to see what it would be like to live without the weight......after looking at so many videos and losing hope because I cant do them I can't push through the pain I found this and tried it and loved it and I did feel the burn. Hell its a chore for me to just to learn how to stand up straight again after walking bent over for almost 3 years due to stenoues, a bad disk and author himself.......I have not been on any pain meds since the surgery and really really really want to lose and get in shape thank you so much for giving me some hope lol excuse the type-o's
I can not thank you enough for this series! I have topped out (I hope) at 303 lbs and every workout I found damn near killed me, due to back issues and pain as a result of the excess weight. I can't walk without a cane/walker more than 50 feet, so when I found this I was overjoyed!!! I get my heart rate up, but not dangerously so and I can build muscle so that I can graduate to standard workouts without hurting myself! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
I’m so bummed out. I was so excited to these to come out last year. I was consistent in doing the workout for a few months. Then I noticed that I kept getting a pulled muscle in my calf. Not good when getting out of the pool. The time off helped my calf and I came back excited to restart this exercise program and they are all gone except this one. Please bring them back? Pretty Please?🇨🇦🤗❤️🙏🏻
Thank God for your beliefs! My birth mother has an aggressive form of breast cancer, and I keep reading how important exercise is towards saving her life. I realized if I don't start exercising now, I won't make it - cancer or not; the cancer would just seal the deal. Thanks to your program I'm getting started exercising for the first time in 27 years! (And I barely did then; I was just "young"!) If I keep following your program, if I do get breast cancer, at least I might have some energy in order to fight it; right now I don't. I wanted to mention how grateful I am for Rob on there. I never see an exercise program that has someone I can identify with. He keeps reminding me "keep breathing" and times I can keep exercising even when I'm too busy. ("I can do this while I'm typing on the computer!") And Sara is so sweet; she doesn't come across as just another snooty, judgmental instructor who thinks we're ready to run 10 miles today (although I'm sure they're well-intended!).
I really luved this workout. I have congestive heart failure and everything else plus 2 knee replacements and this work out was great. I luv it💖😍 thank u so much for this work out 👌
I just finished this first ep. of Stage 1. WOW! I'm working on getting back & past my pre-twins weight. I gained almost 100lbs while I was pregnant with my twins. I sat 90% of my pregnancy just to keep from going into early labor. This did not help my back, hips, knees or feet any. It's now been a year since they were born, and I've lost 70+ lbs, but I'm still not at my pre-twins weight. I'm also a type 2 diabetic & I'm hoping to lose enough weight that I will no longer need medications to control my sugar levels. So now that all that has been said, I want to say thank you. I have had a huge set back with my weight loss a few months ago when I had a massive muscle spasm in my lower back & broke 2 toes! This seated exercise program video is just what I needed. I'm sitting here afterwards, feeling like I just did a standing exercise for 30 mins! BUT my knees, hips, feet & back feel great!!! Thanks again. I will be joining your class everyday.
AWESOME video! I recently started a program locally that incorporates similar exercises, but this video is MUCH better for people like me - overweight with degenerative disc disease. I was sweating when I was done. I LOVE it!
So glad I just discovered this video as I get back into movement and fitness post 2 children and a 100 pound weight gain! this is so nice to have modifications that truly help!
I've been on crutches for a year waiting for knee replacement surgery. I've gained a lot of weight and am shocked at how much muscle tone I've lost in that time. After reading the comments here, I'm anxious to start doing these exercises and will keep you posted on my progress.
Thanks. I have had my knees replaced now and am so anxious to regain my mobility and muscle tone so that I can walk properly again. I will let you know how this goes.
I seriously appreciate this. My Dad does not have full use of his legs and cannot walk for very long. I needed something he can do with limited mobility. This is the only thing I could find. Thank you!
aww oh wow i done this whole vidi and i am so proud, had me smiling the whole time and me thinking what depression!?? i will def come to this channel and i will do this ever third day!!
I am sooooo excited! I was able to finish this whole workout!!! I cannot tell you how depressing it is to attempt to workout only to find that i cannot PHYSICALLY do the exercises! There are just some poses that a big body cannot mimic and some moves that we big people just cannot pull off. I was able to do everything! It is a HUGE self esteem boost. I look forward to trying this again tomorrow! Thanks Rob & Sara!!!
I'm 55, about 90 pounds overweight and have severe arthritis of the spine. This was the first workout I've been able to do in years. You've given me hope. I use a walker when I have to go any distance, but think that your workouts will give me added flexibility and mobility. I found your workout series this morning, and will do this every other day. Bless you!
Welcome to the family Tannya! Remember the secret to this workout series being effective for you is routine and consistency. You must workout 4 times a week, even if you don't feel like it. It's only half an hour and as long as you stick with it and don't miss a workout you will start feeling and seeing results. Share this with other as well to help make you more accountable.
Just started doing these exercises. I'm a type 2 diabetic, with painful peripheral neuropathy. Walking and standing for more than very short lengths of time, causes me great pain in the feet. Seated exercising is what I have been looking for. You were recommended by someone on Diabetes UK. Thank you for being there. 😊
Have stinosis and arthritis of the spine plus bad discs so just finished my first episode for seniors and obese people. So glad I found this series. Thank you.

I’m on section three doing 14 reps and trying to lose weight so I can have abdominal hernia surgery. I have lost 13 pounds in the last 12 weeks. I need to lose 10 more. 😊. Thanks for the encouragement.

GODS BLESSING.
So nice to see a workout dedicated to people who can't do normal workouts and a comment section that isn't judging but grateful and encouraging
Amen! I agree!

Musicsavedme dang I was going to say the same thing! Very encouraging
I love that you have a person of size in this video. It can be intimidating watching someone half your size easily doing something that's getting you winded.
Lol person of size... person of color
Agreed it would suck
@@whyyoumad2061 well we don't like to be called fat
@@dinfar0re Same here. Truth is truth. I see euphemisms as an insult of our intelligence.
Thank you very much
I know this was posted years ago, but I’m glad I’ve discovered it now. Thank you!!!!🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Edit: OMG I started doing this a month a go, 3x a week along with healthier eating habits and I am proud to say I’m now down 21 lbs😭😭😭😭😭😭 THANKS FOR THIS!!!! 🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳
Congratulations on getting stronger!
Your are not alone 💙
@@criseastman6503 Awwww thank you so much!! We got this! Sorry for the late reply. Hope your 2022 is filled with great joy and health.
Congrats sis!!! I’m there with you, but just starting!! Keep up the good work hun!! 💪🏾💪🏾
I just found this, I am disabled and this is just what I needed.
Hee hee same here‼️
✨👍😁👍I have my phone propped up on pillows😁 ‼️ Just starting all over as a former MAJOR workout freak ,as in gyms holuc BigTimE. I'm only 5 ft so the disgusting ( to me) amount I've gained is too noticeable 😤😒 but the buck stops here‼️💦

Love this guy! He's got great attitude - a natural encourager.
Try 5lb dumbbell
Stacey… you may not see this since it’s 2022 now, but I just stumbled on this video and loved it. I saw that it was several years ago and when I tried to subscribe I didn’t see any more video that the women and man did. I’m reaching out in hopes you or someone will see this and fill me in on where I need to go or if they even finished out their videos. It’s the best one I’ve found for me and would hate to only have this one to use. Hope I hear from you. Thanks. Treela

that is super, keep going
Good job william!
Great! Good for you, dude. Don't give up. Best of luck to you!
Ive lost 112 pounds so far just by going low carb!
"Don't forget to breathe. You guys are doing great!" Love Rob! Thanks guys.
back in April I decided enough was enough... I weighed 440lbs and my diabetes was getting worse ... I went to diabetic classes and started changing the way I eat ... I found your site last month and started doing these exercises... my weight is now 403 (the lowest it's been in over 5 years) and my a1c is now 6.2... I have no plans on going backwards and just want to thank you for providing this service 💜
keep going, I know how you feel, keep at it, one baby step at a time
Good on you!
@@synical_gaming3863 - How are you doing now?
I hope you are doing well.
but sadly in the end, it WAS bad diet.
Where are the rest of the videos? Why have they been removed?
Where are episodes three and four?
Yes I can't find episode 2 and so on at your website

Hell yeah. We can do this! Eating fresh fruits and veg help me stay energized for the exercises too

I have disabilities and have mobility issues I gained about 100lb. I did the workout and I FEEL GOOD!!! Thank you
Disabled also and knees make mobility painful.
(I raised them on a Mediterranean diet growing up.)
Wish me luck, I need to do this...
My first time doing this video and I am in tears. I've never felt so welcomed and accommodated in a work out video before. It means the world to me.
Wow an actual 25 minute workout I've been able to follow through all the way...everything hurts now but that means it's working right? lol
I needed SOMETHING I could do I have a massive phobia about being around people (non family) so I've been housebound and sedentary for probably around 5 years or so now, Last time I weighed myself I was 554 pounds but that was probably close to 3 years ago. Nowadays I can barely walk to the bathroom (right around the corner) and back without my legs and hips hurting and my lower back feeling like it's exploding and I have 0% energy so being able to do this has given me quite a bit of hope (I've put it on my watch later list to try and make sure I watch and do it once a day to start with.)
Gotta say I'm glad Rob kept saying "Don't forget to breathe" though because I had...when he said it it reminded me to do it XD

Dr. Nowrazaden on 600 pound life. From fellow addict to you call him! You deserve to live!
...and how are you today? ❤
I’ve been on my weight loss journey for almost four years. I’ve went from 550-390lbs playing this same video while also trying to maintain a low-carb diet. Don’t forget it is a process-don’t beat yourself like I do when you fall short. Keep going!
That's what's up an exercise with a heavy person so you know it's legit...
:) Thanks for posting!
ok I have back problems and FINALLY I have found something that so far has not hurt my back! These videos are great, thank you for them!
Thank you April Reece! If you want to see more videos like this including ones with Yoga please donate to the Launchpad Project! igg.me/at/end-obesity
thank you for the link! Ill go check it out now :)
Thank you guys! I'm heavy and sedentary. This is exactly where I can start. probably not 12 each. To start i may have to do 6-8 moves each. praying this sticks and I'm able to stick with it!❤
Love this guy’s smiling face, humor, encouraging words and enthusiasm.. truly motivating!!
How are you doing so far? Hope you are coming along well.
Sarah & Rob
I love you two
I have MS and my strength and mobility has really suffered since Covid
I just finished my tenth day doing your chair excercises
I’m really enjoying doing these workouts with you
My honey and I’ve been dating for four years now
We both have Over 100 lbs we need to lose. Eric and I are trying to motivate each other 😊
Thank you soooooo much
Stay safe, peace & love
William Graham way to go William, you can do it. YOU CAN DO IT.
im a big guy and ive always put off doing exercise because i have it in my mind that im not doing anything because i dont see it. i just went through this video and i felt the muscles work and i worked up a sweat. i plan on doing this daily now for awhile to see where i get. feels good :) hopefully i keep at it
Recovering from 2 strokes in 10 months and this was great! I felt good and challenged without feeling like I was gonna die, lol. Thanks so much :)
***** bless you, I'm sending positive vibes your way..
Thank you very much, that's very kind :)
Just subscribed. I pray this series is still going on because so many disabled and obese people need these videos like we need pain meds and water.
Im 45 male and 5' 10" height but 300 pounds and I think this may just save me from a very early grave, lady you are masterful and an inspiration

Thank you for these videos..I don't feel so alone fighting to get healthy..keep up the good work..I showed up today and worked out yeah me
Wow, me too bernice. I would like so much to talk to someone that has been through thing.
Love it! It felt good to exercise.
Thank you! I did forget to breathe until Rob said breathe.
Congratulations! I’m so excited for you! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
@@languagelearningdabbler Thank you Thank you it really means a lot.
Couldn't have said it better myself
exactly what I need since I cannot walk for excersise . thanks for the encouragement I enjoy the video.
+Debora Mcdade Same problem I have! It's amazing how many people don't understand that "just going for a walk" isn't so easy when you're big!
+Crystal Jackson i have to some problem and weight aint no joke
Awesome. 80-90% of it is diet. I used to be morbidly obese myself. Start very small concentrate on good nutrition and keeping hydrated. Build up slowly. I am a Personal Trainer. I lost 150% myself, I know how hard it is!
Debora I feel the same way have been really trying to walk but it is so painful I can walk around the house and to the mailbox but I can't my block its too far.....On a great diet have changed my eating totally no bread, sweets sugar potatoes hardly no fruit at all just baked meat lots of veggies and salads has brought my blood sugar down so much but the wieght is coming off to slow for me after 4 week had only lost 7 lbs so I think this will really help me
Teresa Graham
Well done you.

This is fantastic! Fun, low impact and just what I'm looking for for my clients. Thank you!
You're so welcome!
I am in the process of trying to have gastric bypass surgery and my nutritionist wants me start exercising. I'm so glad I found this series. I did the first episode. I am so happy with myself!
Way to go Carla Phillips! Keep it up
Hi Sarah, I found your workout video tonight for the first time and I love it.
When I saw the run time I didn't think I could get through this video. Rob G thank you your additude was very helpful.
I’m going to start this today and build up to faster and stronger things. I’m grateful I found this because weighing 400lbs is extremely bad for my body and I’m going to start fixing it ASAP!
Hello, I would like to know if you made any progress with your weight loss journey. Have these exercises helped?
Me Eu Yes! I’ve lost 10lbs on top of intermittent fasting and calorie counting! It’s helped me a ton especially my back and feet. :)
Finally a set I can do! Thank you so much!
How are you today? ❤
How are you doing now?
i love how positive and encouraging the gentleman is! i feel like the world needs more videos like this.

THANK YOU AGAIN MY HUSBAND IS SO HAPPY THAT WE DO THIS TOGETHER.....LOVE IT
God Bless, First workout I have done in three years. Thank you!

Thanks so much I know the video is not up to date but it's the best exercise segment I'm able to do athritis has got me hurting so bad at times I'll start something one day and the next day I couldn't barely raise a leg when to says shake out the soup cans well I was shaking them I was eating what was in the soup cans I got so additted to carbs fried chicken was my best friend but not now I been then this exercise for 2months and 4 days a week my I'm diabetic and this the first time my sugar has-been under 400 I thank God first and I thank God I might give out but I'm not giving up so let's continue to pray for each other God got us thank y'all so much keep putting it out there
This chair exercise has been so easy and helpful for me to follow thanks so much😊
You're so welcome!
Pretty Please?🇨🇦🤗❤️🙏🏻
love it. i am feeling the burn and sweat. gradually my legs and my core will be strong again.
Sounds lie you found your perfect exercise routines !
Laura Griffin please do keep us updated and let us know if we can help you in any way!
Thanks. I have had my knees replaced now and am so anxious to regain my mobility and muscle tone so that I can walk properly again. I will let you know how this goes.
Laura Griffin Well it's been a month since you posted this. Has it helped? Please let me know I'm curious.
Thanks Rob & Sara!!!
was looking for something like this I'm 30 at 324 on oxygen can't do much but thanks to this I'm gonna be doing these excercises
Bless you!
I love this work out. I discovered it about a week ago, and I love it! Thank you :)
I am not anywhere near obese but I am an asthmatic with chronic arthritis. This is a great way for me to start slow and still make progress!
Thank you 😊
Just started doing these exercises. I'm a type 2 diabetic, with painful peripheral neuropathy. Walking and standing for more than very short lengths of time, causes me great pain in the feet. Seated exercising is what I have been looking for. You were recommended by someone on Diabetes UK. Thank you for being there. 😊
Today was the first time I did it and I feel great! A bit sore, but great because I did something. Thanks!
Have stinosis and arthritis of the spine plus bad discs so just finished my first episode for seniors and obese people. So glad I found this series. Thank you.
