I really enjoyed your video review of the 2024 Subaru Impreza RS ! The first shot with a camera under the moving vehicle was awesome. You did mention the fact that the car doesn't have a spare tire and only the inflator kit. I had read about this about 1 month ago and it was a deal killer as I didn't want to be caught without a spare on a long trip. I went to a dealer today and took a test drive and the RS is great. I looked in the trunk and pulled out the "styrofoam" holding the inflator kit and found a nice round space underneath which looks like it will hold a spare tire !!! So all may not be lost as a "donut" spare may fit if a full size doesn't.
Interetthe put soft touch on the dash but its ugly cheap plastic on the Crosstrek. This looks good. I wish they had something that competed directly with the SI.

This car hits almost allllll the right notes: DECENT VISIBILITY, especially for modern cars. The all-black interior is disappointing. The seat cloth material is.............. disappointing too. Otherwise, it's nearly perfect.

Hands down the best premium Japanese cars. Not buying Mazda ever again. I left the Subaru family because of the cvt transmission. Subaru it’s Loud due plastic thin insulation. Driving wise very stable driving over 100mph. With Mazda driving over 100mph is wack
Which Mazda do you have experience with? Have you tried a modern (2022, 2023) Mazda 3? I'm asking because I"m currently trying to decide between the RS and the Mazda 3 hatch. The rear visibility in the 3 is absolutely horrendous, but the power and torque in the Turbo 3 is supposedly godly, even faster than the CVT WRX. But if handling sucks in the 3, especially since I'm not too fond of the torsion bar rear suspension, then the RS it is unless Subaru comes out with the WRX hatch.
I can agree with the stable driving over 100 mph. I have a ‘21 Crosstrek Sport (same engine as the ‘24 Impreza RS) and it gets to 100 mph very quickly.
Gawd this car oozes cost cutting & cheapness all over it. Get a Mazda3 & snow tires. You’ll have a real trans, an actual spare tire and better build quality.

Better value as compared to the Crosstrek. Cheaper. Rather less expensive. Identical car.
Crosstrek has a higher ground clearance. Better for offroad

It's pronounced SU-BA-RU not SU-BU-RU.
The BA is more pronounced, like Subaaru as in baa baa black sheep, that's coming from the late possum himself.
