Sasha may have had a spa day with Anne the day Sprig went to train with Grime, but she was busy every day before. Plus, Sasha did deserve a day of relaxation after her worst mission ever.

I'm gonna headcannon that Anne picked up on how stressed out Sasha was getting and forced her to take a day of relaxation (true friends know how to get you to wind down).

It’s not likely Sasha had any self care day before Anne showed up. She needed this without having to think about the possibility of failure with the cage fight
It was a well earned and frankly nessessary break Sasha’s earned especially after both the action packed Olm Town Road and the grossness of exploring Mother Olm through both her ears and nose.
Gotta take care of yourself decently as well before caring about others after all.

You ever wonder where the two teenage girls that bullied Anne and Marcy when they were little tiny kids are now?
Who knows, lol. I wanna say they're probably working deadbeat jobs (considering they had to bully kindergarteners to make themselves feel better), but at the same time, one of best aspects of Amphibia is that it shows how nuanced people are. And that even those who've succumbed to the worst aspects of themselves can still have the capacity to grow and change.
I mean, she deserves it. Especially after that trip into Mother Olm's head.
Also I'm glad Anne called Sprig out for being a jerk while simultaneously understanding why he'd do so

Moments like this REALLY makes me think that Amphibia could have benefited a lot BETTER if either make it 4/5 seasons long or after season 1 have episodes be 22 minutes/longer to make room for character and story progression while still making jokes, because SOME OF THE MOST IMPORTANT STUFF IN THIS SERIES ARE IN A FREAKING BOOK!!! it's just bad both as a story narrative and enjoyment narrative. Like one of the reasons I don't like Sasha it's because I don't know why she's like that so I need to buy a book do you know that. THAT IS JUST BAD WRITING.
