Here is the latest version of this in-depth Ecwid eCommerce Webianr: ruclips.net/video/nZb4LaqTJQU/видео.html Be sure to check it out for more information about who Ecwid is for (and is not for), a comparison of Ecwid vs Shopify and the competition, as well as an in-depth tutorial from store setup to design and marketing! :)
I am using both platforms. I will say this, if you have a Shopify store, you can connect to Facebook shops, you can connect to Instagram, also, depending on what you are selling, you can connect to Etsy and Amazon. I personally feel that if you don't need all the bells and whistles and want to get a store up fairly quickly and for free, Ecwid is a great option. As you say it's a widget. Both platforms have its place. Apps are something that both platforms use. You don't need to pay for themes, the themes they have are good enough to go to market with until your store generates revenue. Saying there aren't any transaction fees is kind of miss leading, although ecwid themselves don't charge a transaction, you must use a processor, (PayPal, Stripe or Square) all charge fees. I feel if you need something very basic Ecwid is perfect. Great content by the way.
Hi PiggyBank Mint, Sorry for the delayed reply and thanks for your comment. Absolutely, both platforms definitely have their place. I made a new video about Ecwid vs Shopify explaining their target markets, strengths and weaknesses. ruclips.net/video/K_fdLVoLj3E/видео.html (for Ecwid here: ruclips.net/video/u7I-n5y1ogM/видео.html) For Shopify's transaction fees, they are charged on top of the payment processor fees if you do not use their payment processor - so it is still an extra fee / commission on your sales vs Ecwid that does not charge any such fees. All the best
I was on the brink of giving up but you gave it a whole new meaning and I'm feeling important already thank you. You are a gem and to even think I was starting to give in to depression ....
Thank you Daniella Based on Your Excellent Presentation of Ecwid... And it’s Multi Diversified Uses...and Synchronization...I am ready to get started.. I never heard of Ecwid til now... I subscribed to your channel.. 👍👍
Thank you for your knowledge and expertise Daniella! Easy to follow instructions. You have a great smile and passionate personality. Really appreciate your content!
I cnat belive Ecwid isnt famous! You can make your own FREE website why isnt anyone making you known to all! Btw im also Ecwid store seller and i love your website thank you!
Thanks for your comment @Bubble Pop DIY! I totally agree! :) Ecwid is such an incredible solution and I'm very glad to share info about their company on RUclips with small and medium-sized business owners :) Thanks, all the best! Ps. Just to clairfy a couple things: ruclips.net/video/rKS9VkrBm5I/видео.html (It will be available in July)
I just upgraded to the latest Rapidcart (I use Rapidweaver to build my site) but it was taking me too long to figure it out. Rapidweaver suggest Edwid and it was easy. Finding your videos is going to make it even better. Thanks.
Thank you for this Daniella. This is great information. I am trying to get my two girls and my wife interested in ecommerce as an alternative to working for somebody else. I have seen the changes that this new digital age is doing in regards to job opportunities, the average length of time in hours spent working as well as how many times a person will change employers and careers. Thank you once again. I think your video just might be the motivation they need to make the change
Hello Claude, thanks so much for your comment! It means a lot. So much that I made a video to reply to it. I hope this helps in convincing your family :) All the best ruclips.net/video/bH-RRaA9kQk/видео.html
I signed up with Ecwid years ago, but I never used it. Things have changed and I like what I see and plan on joining one of the paid plans, actually for 3 stores. Is there anyway I can add you so you can get paid? I really appreciate this video you have done.
Hey Curt, that's really nice you would like to use my affiliate link! I appreciate it, it does help support the channel. If you already signed up or are using old accounts it would be too late though... But if you plan on opening any new stores, feel free to use my affiliate link at the top of the description, means a lot. Thanks all the best
No problem, this video is a bit less recent but still relevant if you would like something more step-by-step ruclips.net/video/F9vpjmFDIdI/видео.html All the best
hi .... what a great video .... its about time for me to migrate from shopify to ecwid ... but its a major issue i finds out that its very hard for me to transfer the product details from 3rd party website such as AliExpress , etc etc ... I know i can add the product manually but imagine if i have more than 50 product and with shopify there is a apps called oberlo where its solve this issue and I can import all those products details including the photo to the Shopify easily and fast .... hope this funtion available in ecwid soon....
Hi, thanks for your comment. Oberlo is only available on Shopify for now and does not have an open API from what I read on their site so I don't think it will be possible to integrate them with any other solution ask.oberlo.com/d/7877-any-plans-for-a-developer-api As for AliExpress, they may be able to integrate but you should ask Ecwid directly. You could submit a request to Ecwid following this link and they will send you a quote for the service: ecwidcom.typeform.com/to/vIlijv | I hope this helps!
Instead of connecting to an existing website can I build a website from scratch using Ecwid as I already have a domain name but I don't have any website.
Hi, Yes, you can use Ecwid as a standalone solution with no need for an existing website if you would like. I explain more about that in this video: ruclips.net/video/nF1ORoZY8NA/видео.html All the best
Hi Inder, It's for anyone, those who have a site/CMS can embed Ecwid to their existing site (WP, Wix, Weebly, HTML...), and those who don't have a site can use the Starter Site that I demonstrate in the video, just watch a little further, I show how you can customize your store theme and view your store at the end of the video. Thanks
$15 per month for tax calculations? Now my cost per month is the same as Shopify. Ugh. I think that was supposed to go unnoticed when you mentioned it here. Pretty sketchy.
Hi! :) It is $15 per month for many many many features, including automated tax calculations, which, in and of themselves, pay for multiple hours of work. I look at it this way, would I rather spend 15 hours per month working on taxes vs the value of my time? Or pay $15 per month and get a ton of features, plus automate the entire tax process? Personally I think my time is worth way more than $15. Also, I have no interest in "hiding" this information from you ;) But please, do choose the eCommerce solution that fits your needs best. All the best ✨
Hello Daniella, How can i promote my ecwid website for generating sales? I am not clear about facebook, instagram integration on paid packages. Do i need to boost up into this social medias? If i had to, then what is ecwid's job with social media integration? Can you plz clear me out?
Hi Moja, Thanks for your questions. This playlist is all about the Facebook and Instagram integration: ruclips.net/p/PLpubeE3DhodU8_J6SjnjD_4_B1nuuQ6AY I demo how to set it up with Ecwid in that playlist. You do need a paid Ecwid plan but even in the lowest paid plan you can set up that integration. There is a video in the playlist about preparing your social media accounts before applying, that video will answer one of your questions. Ecwid's job for this integration is centralizing your sales (omnichannel eCommerce). I explain what that means at this moment in this video: ruclips.net/video/nZb4LaqTJQU/видео.html So if you want to sell in multiple places online, Ecwid can help centralise your sales (and provide you with your own eCommerce website). I hope that clarifies for you. All the best
Is there a way to change the name of your ecwid site if it hasn't been published yet? I started one long ago, but never finished it. I'd like to start one seriously. Thank you!
Hi, Do you mean the URL of the site, or just the name of the site? For the name go to your Ecwid backend > Settings and edit your store info there. For the URL, check out this video: ruclips.net/video/J50tx548_9M/видео.html
This video demonstrates how to setup a free eCommerce shop landing page using Ecwid, but we also explore some paid features that can take your store to the next level. Enjoy :)
Thanks for the videos - very helpful. Just want to make sure...can the Ecwid page be it's own stand alone website store without needing to "connect" it to another website? So with Ecwid and perhaps Printful we can have a self contained business?
Hi @Flashzonephoto, I decided to make a video to answer your question ruclips.net/video/nF1ORoZY8NA/видео.html Not sure what you mean by "self contained business" but you can use Ecwid + Printful as a print on demand eCommerce solution if you would like. All the best :)
@@Daniellaio Thank you - checking it out in a few. Printful has long delays right now so lots of time to get things set up. Yes, that's what I was asking, can the 2 be all I need to run a POD. Thanks for all the helpful videos.
Thanks :) Ok awesome so yes, you can use Ecwid + Painful as an eCommerce POD solution no problem. I actually cover it in detail in this course: daniella.io/store/Printful-Print-on-Demand-for-Ecwid-eCommerce-Course-p138172823 I know Ecwid is offering the connection to Printful in the Free plan until the end of 2020 ruclips.net/video/yIJmYt2Fuow/видео.html But it's too bad there are longer delays, probably due to the current global situation. Hopefully things will catch up soon. All the best :)
Hi, Thanks :) What kind of feedback do you mean? For example, you can allow customers to leave product reviews with this app for example: ruclips.net/video/sH18Axg5Oqc/видео.html
Thank u for these videos bcuz im lost on a few things ..like how to add product.. lol.. 3rd time watching video..lol.. but ill get it by watching .. even if i have to pause and pause.. lol...
Hi Bernadine, Glad you are finding some value in the video! This one is a bit older but is slower: ruclips.net/video/F9vpjmFDIdI/видео.html All the best
For those who are considering ditching Wix store for Ecwid in order to integrate with other platforms (Amazon and ebay), please note that you will have to be on Ecwid business plan to do so. That's $35/month. Then you will have to pay another company called codisto.com for the app that will do the integration between Ecwid and the marketplaces. That's another $59/month or $29/mo + 1.9% of your sales on those marketplaces. Nothing against Ecwid but the idea that you can have all that you ever wanted in one place for free is not true. Not even with Ecwid business subscription alone. You are looking at a minimum of $100/month to have this setup not taking into consideration any customization.
Thanks for your comment! Very good point, this video explains how to make a free Ecwid store and site, but I also talk about paid features because a paid plan is necessary to take your store to the next level, including to be able to sell on multiple channels. Ecwid did release an Amazon integration for US merchants and this will evolve in the future, but more info here: www.ecwid.com/blog/how-to-sell-on-amazon-from-your-ecwid-store.html So some people will be able to avoid Codisto fees using that integration. For those who want more info on pricing and plans, feel free to check out Ecwid's pricing page, it is always up to date. I also have a very detailed video covering some of the fees related to selling on multiple channels, especially for those interested in Dropshipping so check it out here if you are concerned by fees related to advanced eCommerce features (like marketplace integrations and drop shipping): ruclips.net/video/i01yZwEApfI/видео.html I hope that helps :)
Hello Daniella, for the forever free package - Can I use a domain registered and hosted in South Africa? The domain must be a .co.za domain as I will only be selling to South Africa. Also, I will be using payfast as my gateway. I look forward to your response.
Hi Vanessa, You do need to upgrade to a paid account to connect your own domain name to an Ecwid store, I have a full playlist about domain names and Ecwid you can check it out here: ruclips.net/p/PLpubeE3DhodU2f5HAdMrDfzzj6gSggKu0 For your question about purchasing .co.za domains, I like to use NameCheap for my domains but I do not think they support .co.za... You will have to find a service that allows you to get domain names with that TDL (or ending). I did a quick search in Google, the good news is there are lots of them :) Just find a service provider you like. Maybe ask other businesses or friends that have websites in your area to get their feedback on the services they use since I do not have one to recommend specifically for South Africa... Let me know what you decide to use! Thanks all the best :)
Interesting, not by default but you can use Zotabox to set that up with a countdown in a header bar and in different places on your site, check it out here ruclips.net/video/ctpOQTYbPII/видео.html
Thanks :D Theoretically you can run 1 store per account (paid or free). But I have used 1 paid account to run multiple stores using categories and embedding specific categories on different sites (from the same store backend). This does have it's downsides (google analytics tracking isn't as precise, store policies are from the main store...) but its a great way to save money and bootstrap store testing on different sites before opening another paid Ecwid account :) A domain name is included but will have .ecwid.com or .company.com in it because it is provided by Ecwid. Once again, awesome to bootstrap but worth getting your own eventually - you can easily connect your own domain, they only cost about $10 per year. I hope that helps! :) All the best

Sorry . I hawe problem .excuse me how do i import csv product files from aliexpress? do i have to set manually? or import the link as shopyfive? it's possible ?
Hi Alessandro, You can import CSV files this way with Ecwid ruclips.net/video/nhfBSr3_GkA/видео.html However, it seems you have very specific questions for which I am missing more context - I am not sure if you are migrating solutions are not (from Shopify?) so please feel free to contact Ecwid directly for further questions, you can reach them here: support.ecwid.com/hc/en-us/requests/new All the best

Hi Kester, Ecwid may not be able to resolve this natively (there are some currency options but maybe not what you are looking for). However they integrate with a currency converter app that may be able to do what you need. You can learn more here: support.ecwid.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000857760-Currency-Converter All the best
Hey Daniella, Are you still monitoring this feed. I am a business essentials customer and CLOVER POS customer. I synced my inventory but am having trouble merging products with different SKU's and options, ie...1 shirt with 2 color options and 3 size options = 6 variations. I can not make one thumbnail to include all the variations, stock quantities and SKU's BTW, this video is awesome
Thanks Nelda, I appreciate the complement :) Yes, I answer (almost) all comments on my channel. Sadly I cannot help you with this question since it could be due to a couple of factors which require accessing you account, but I am sure an Ecwid customer support agent will be able to look at your account specifically and assist you. Since you have a business plan, you can get in touch with them by email or by chat directly from your seller control panel. You could also book a phone call, but I think over chat they will be able to resolve it for you. You can do any of these from your seller control panel or following this link: support.ecwid.com/hc/en-us/requests/new I know they are a bit overloaded right now due to the current global situation so be patient. I hope this helps! :) Thanks all the best
@@Daniellaio Thank you so much. I will be back to watch your videos on the social media presence This has been most helpful. I do have an email in to support and just waiting to hear back.
Hi Daniella, thanks for your introduction to Ecwid. I'm just starting with 1 (or 2) products. Intending to try out with the free package and upgrade later should the need arise. Is the free plan sufficient for me to sell and receive payment (using PayPal and ipay88)?.... What are the limitations of the free plan?
Hi Alan, thanks :) The biggest limitations of the free plan are that you can only add up to 10 products, 2 categories and can't use any of the integrations (FB store, IG shopping, any apps...). There are other features it may be worth paying for (discount coupons, automatic tac calculations) but to get started the free plan allows you to actually sell online since you can add shipping and payment methods using the free plan. Ecwid shounds great, however can we do dropping with it e.g. how we can plugin Oberlo with shopify, woocommerce with alidropship, can we use anything to make droppings easy for us?

Would you recommend it for handmade goods? I have an etsy shop right now but their fees are higher than this platform would be as a free plan. I could keep my etsy shop for people searching on that platform but use Ecwid when I promote on social media.
Great point Sia, it's something I cover in this video specifically ruclips.net/video/qW7ND5s8HvM/видео.html Make sure it's right for your business of course but that could be an option for sure. All the best!

hello well done is it possible with Ecwid to download app like Dsers in order to download products directly from Alliexpress? how much does it costs? possible with 35$ option? another question who will send the products from ecwid?
Hi Kevin, thanks for your comment. You could ask Ecwid for custom development to connect to Aliexpress since there is not a default app for that (they are integrated with other dropshipping solutions). If you are interested in dropshipping, check out my free course that contains my views on this eCommerce business model ruclips.net/p/PLpubeE3DhodUEg2X9dQllenW7rBWHJKFF. I like ecwid but I think they're more harder to dropship with, being that you have to manually fulfill orders. If your store is doing a 100 or more sales per day just imagine trying to fulfill that more orders manually on aliexpress or wherever you dropship from
Hey Odane, absolutely it is harder when you have to manually enter orders but did you know you can request custom dev from Ecwid to avoid that issue? I have a full series coming out on Dropshipping with Ecwid, I'd like to invite you to subscribe and hit the bell for notifications when they come out Mondays over the coming weeks. Dear Daniella, after 20 years of selling on ebay I have decided to leave it for good, their customer service has gone too awful and cheap. I want to start my own website and sell from there. Can ecwyd help me on my move to quit ebay forever? I want to sell from my own site and have my products linked to an Instagram account. Thank you for your help.
Hi Jose, after selling on eBay for 13 years I recently requested they close my account due to terrible customer service and their new forced payment system - so I feel your frustration. Yes, Ecwid is awesome to quickly and easily setup your own online store. Just keep in mind you have to go after the traffic now because your site can be found in search engines (like Google, Bing) but it is not it's own search engine (like eBay, Amazon). People can search your products in your store though - I hope I understand what I mean. You can connect your Ecwid to Instagram to monetize your traffic from there no problem. All the best of luck :)

I wanna use the upload and variations features but I have to pay $35 for up to 2500 products just get those two features I don't see my business having that many items right now. I just to be able to have my customers upload files to orders and have variations for products. Any tips or advice. Just starting out.
Hi David, Thanks for your question. You do not have to upload 2.5k products, it's just that the business plan allows you to upload that many if you needed to. That being said, number of products is just one aspect of the business plan. There are SO many awesome features in that plan (I actually have one for my store) and having all those features where the value is in my opinion. Have a look at Ecwid's pricing page to see what features you will get beyond product variations and the upload file option. I love that plan but of course your choice depends on your specific business needs. All the best
@@Daniellaio I do laser engraving and 3D printing. So custom stuff. I will need variants for different colors and sizes and also the upload option for customers to upload pictures and etc so I know what to laser engrave or 3D print. I just didn't think you would get charge for variants and uploads. I may still give Ecwid a shot. It still may be be less than Shopify..
Awesome niche, love it. Sure I understand, uploading files requires more bandwidth so it's understandable it would be a paid feature, and product variants are generally an advanced feature. From my experience Ecwid is cheaper than Shopify but this does depend on business needs, especially with regards to design customizations, plugins / apps and custom dev. requirements. I have a comparison of Ecwid and Shopify here if it's useful: ruclips.net/video/JJrcus7gjnQ/видео.html All the best

Hi Doreen, Ecwid works with Printful which is a print on demand service a bit like Teespring. Hi, Ecwid's business model is based on a freemium model, so they offer a forever free plan allowing you to try out the product, but that plan of course is limited in features and functionality. The free version allows you to test out the basics, like having 10 products and 2 categories. What's in it for you is you get to try out their product for free to see if you like it, and what's in it for Ecwid is that if you like it, you will probably upgrade because there are way more awesome features :) It's worth checking it out. Best of luck
You need a paid plan to be able to use app integrations in Ecwid and at the lowest paid plan you can use apps. Printful itself is free, you only pay them when you make sales. Learn more here: ruclips.net/video/SoAjT9LG4-A/видео.html
No problem, you can use the Ecwid Instant Site to sell online. I actually demo the setup later on in this video. You can also learn more here: ruclips.net/video/Yu2g0rSYaLw/видео.html
Hi, Yes you could configure that in Ecwid using local delivery as a shipping method and cash as a payment method (you can name the payment method "Cash on delivery." I talk about shipping here ruclips.net/video/v5HN8_2CpMI/видео.html All the best
Hey Alexander! If you are using the Ecwid instant site, check out this forum conversation to learn more, thanks all the best www.ecwid.com/forums/showthread.php?t=41016
Hi, Ecwid is not a marketplace like eBay or Amazon, meaning they do not pool all the stores people create with their platform to make them all accessible on one website (if that is what you mean by marketplace). Ecwid allows you to create your own online store. However, it can connect to existing marketplaces (eBay and Amazon) using a third party app. All the best
Hi Jackie, At the moment you can't embed Ecwid to TikTok like you could with Instagram Shopping (more on that here ruclips.net/video/5nbCO53H6Qs/видео.html) but this page on Ecwid's site talks about how you can create a free online store with Ecwid and link to your shop in your Bio: www.ecwid.com/tiktok More about what is in the free plan here: ruclips.net/video/T7Ibu_AoGww/видео.html All the best
Ecwid has a forever free plan, so you can use it for free to sell online with up to 10 products and 2 categories. Of course there are other limitations and paid plans have much more features, you can see Ecwid's pricing page to learn more about the different plans. But yes, you can use Ecwid to sell online for free, there is no trial, it's an actual free plan. Best of luck
Hi, if you want to disconnect your custom domain and go back to the free default domain with ecwid.com in it, go to Settings > General, and delete the Store URL that is entered there. That will set your domain back to the free default one. Also, disconnect your domain name if you had a custom domain ruclips.net/video/J50tx548_9M/видео.html All the best.
Your tutorial was very confusing.you kept going from free to paid and I was hoping for more information on the free site...I can't seem to get started with it..Is it the instant site? Do I need a website to use this or is it a stand alone? I have a Face book business page but it will cost me to link it..what am I missing?thank you
Hey Paula! Thanks for the feedback, I have videos answering all your questions, hopefully they will help clarify things: 1. Free vs paid?: ruclips.net/video/T7Ibu_AoGww/видео.html 2. What is the instant site?: ruclips.net/video/Yu2g0rSYaLw/видео.html It is the default website available in Ecwid eCommerce. It is what we setup in the video above. 3. Can Ecwid be used Standalone? Yes, this video explains this ruclips.net/video/nF1ORoZY8NA/видео.html, but you can also embed it to an existing website, I explain what this means here ruclips.net/video/fCe4tULOK_k/видео.html 4.
Glad you found the content helpful :) All the best

Thank you for this Daniella. This is great information. I am trying to get my two girls and my wife interested in ecommerce as an alternative to working for somebody else. I have seen the changes that this new digital age is doing in regards to job opportunities, the average length of time in hours spent working as well as how many times a person will change employers and careers. Thank you once again. I think your video just might be the motivation they need to make the change

@@Daniellaio thank you so much I just subscribe to your channel I’ll check out the other video I’m sure I’ll have lots of questions
hi .... what a great video .... its about time for me to migrate from shopify to ecwid ... but its a major issue i finds out that its very hard for me to transfer the product details from 3rd party website such as AliExpress , etc etc ...
I love your energy girl!
Thanks Natalie :)
Excellent presentation, feel soo captivated by Ecwid and looking forward to be part of the team
Thanks, glad you enjoyed the presentation :) Wishing you all the best with Ecwid
Hi D, as you said it's for people who already has website. So it's not for people who doesn't have website?
I want to ecwid start my dream
Hello Daniella,
How can i promote my ecwid website for generating sales?
Daniella.io thanks!

Hey Miguel, thanks for your question, I updated the page and explained the situation in more detail to answer your question: daniella.io Thank you
Thanks for beautiful video, you make me inspired, just one question can I do a feedback form using ecwid platform, thanks

Does this work on a html/css website i already built?
Yes it does :) ruclips.net/video/82DH7vtJM0g/видео.html
Is it possible to add ecwid to six without paying for wix e-commerce? I just want a basic wix site and to attach ecwid, how do I do that
Yep, you can embed Ecwid on any plan (including the free plan) to Wix. I explain how to here: ruclips.net/video/FTh8EEg4yuA/видео.html
Thanks for responding so quickly! 😌
I really love you! The work you’re doing have made me begin my dream as building my own store ! I’m new at this and you’re my teacher thanks
Hello Daniella, for the forever free package - Can I use a domain registered and hosted in South Africa? The domain must be a .co.za domain as I will only be selling to South Africa. Also, I will be using payfast as my gateway. I look forward to your response.
Also, I would like to have my domain hosted in South Africa. How do I go about it?
Can we select product for flash sale? Or any stopwatch plug in in ecwid?
Interesting, not by default but you can use Zotabox to set that up with a countdown in a header bar and in different places on your site, check it out here ruclips.net/video/ctpOQTYbPII/видео.html
Love your videos! How many stores can you have with the $15 a month plan?
And is there a domain name included or do I need to buy one?
Thanks :))
:) All the best

hey daniella i have a wix site but wix does not provide multiple currency . do ecwid solve this solution

Can I plug it into blogger?

Hi, Yes, I talk about selling digital goods with Ecwid in this video ruclips.net/video/CSUINICsiko/видео.html All the best
@@Daniellaio Thanks
You just got a new follower, Me! I am going to continue learning with you!
Awesome :) Welcome to the channel! I hope you find lots of value :) Thanks for subscribing, all the best
Great idea, but it will be great opportunity for scammers to sell something online, and fool people. Do you check their certificates?
Hi, yes, anyone can make an eCommerce site, from a legitimate business to a “scammer”, and they can do so with Ecwid or any other solution. If your question is if Ecwid is a legitimate business or not, check out this video where I explore that very exact question: ruclips.net/video/H-fsU_t71EE/видео.html All the best
hey daniella can we sell an ebook on ecwid
Hi Kester, Yes you can sell eBooks with Ecwid. I talk about how to in this playlist: ruclips.net/p/PLpubeE3DhodViV8-CJFI9BK0mTOqP2Zhc All the best
How does this work with Teespring of other POD sites?
Hi Doreen, Ecwid works with Printful which is a print on demand service a bit like Teespring. I explain what Printful is more in detail in this video ruclips.net/video/SoAjT9LG4-A/видео.html Ecwid also has a special offer on POD until the end of 2020, you can learn more about that here: ruclips.net/video/yIJmYt2Fuow/видео.html All the best
How can his be free? What is in it for ecwid?
Hi, Ecwid's business model is based on a freemium model, so they offer a forever free plan allowing you to try out the product, but that plan of course is limited in features and functionality. The free version allows you to test out the basics, like having 10 products and 2 categories. What's in it for you is you get to try out their product for free to see if you like it, and what's in it for Ecwid is that if you like it, you will probably upgrade because there are way more awesome features :) It's worth checking it out. Best of luck
@@Daniellaio ..that's what I thought. I need to know if I can use the free plan with printful.
You need a paid plan to be able to use app integrations in Ecwid and at the lowest paid plan you can use apps. Printful itself is free, you only pay them when you make sales. Learn more here: ruclips.net/video/SoAjT9LG4-A/видео.html
I don't have existing website,
No problem, you can use the Ecwid Instant Site to sell online. I actually demo the setup later on in this video. You can also learn more here: ruclips.net/video/Yu2g0rSYaLw/видео.html
I also explain more in this video ruclips.net/video/nF1ORoZY8NA/видео.html All the best
Thank you
Is cash on delivery available?
Hi, Yes you could configure that in Ecwid using local delivery as a shipping method and cash as a payment method (you can name the payment method "Cash on delivery." I talk about shipping here ruclips.net/video/v5HN8_2CpMI/видео.html All the best
Hi Daniella!, I got my page on Ecwid, and Im working with google ads and I got an issue, how can I use google tag manager?
Hey Alexander! If you are using the Ecwid instant site, check out this forum conversation to learn more, thanks all the best www.ecwid.com/forums/showthread.php?t=41016
@@Daniellaio Thanks! Nice Video
is ecwid a marketplace as well?
Hi, Ecwid is not a marketplace like eBay or Amazon, meaning they do not pool all the stores people create with their platform to make them all accessible on one website (if that is what you mean by marketplace). Ecwid allows you to create your own online store. However, it can connect to existing marketplaces (eBay and Amazon) using a third party app. All the best
Can it be used with TikTok now too?
Hi Jackie, At the moment you can't embed Ecwid to TikTok like you could with Instagram Shopping (more on that here ruclips.net/video/5nbCO53H6Qs/видео.html) but this page on Ecwid's site talks about how you can create a free online store with Ecwid and link to your shop in your Bio: www.ecwid.com/tiktok More about what is in the free plan here: ruclips.net/video/T7Ibu_AoGww/видео.html All the best
Daniella.io ok got it. BTW I signed up using your link ^_^ I’m excited to finish setting up.
Awesome! 🥳 And thanks for supporting the channel it means a lot :) All the best!
Are its free of cost to use
Ecwid has a forever free plan, so you can use it for free to sell online with up to 10 products and 2 categories. Of course there are other limitations and paid plans have much more features, you can see Ecwid's pricing page to learn more about the different plans. But yes, you can use Ecwid to sell online for free, there is no trial, it's an actual free plan. Best of luck
how do i change my website from .company.site to .ecwid.com??
Hi, if you want to disconnect your custom domain and go back to the free default domain with ecwid.com in it, go to Settings > General, and delete the Store URL that is entered there. That will set your domain back to the free default one. Also, disconnect your domain name if you had a custom domain ruclips.net/video/J50tx548_9M/видео.html All the best.
Your tutorial was very confusing.you kept going from free to paid and I was hoping for more information on the free site...I can't seem to get started with it..Is it the instant site? Do I need a website to use this or is it a stand alone? I have a Face book business page but it will cost me to link it..what am I missing?thank you
Hey Paula! Thanks for the feedback, I have videos answering all your questions, hopefully they will help clarify things:
1. Free vs paid?: ruclips.net/video/T7Ibu_AoGww/видео.html
2. What is the instant site?: ruclips.net/video/Yu2g0rSYaLw/видео.html It is the default website available in Ecwid eCommerce. It is what we setup in the video above.
3. Can Ecwid be used Standalone? Yes, this video explains this ruclips.net/video/nF1ORoZY8NA/видео.html, but you can also embed it to an existing website, I explain what this means here ruclips.net/video/fCe4tULOK_k/видео.html
4. Facebook Store / Instagram Shopping explained: ruclips.net/video/5nbCO53H6Qs/видео.html That video also covers what it is and requirements. I have a full series on Instagram Shopping and Facebook stores coming out next week and it explains how to prepare your account before applying to avoid getting disapproved (and what to do if your application is rejected). I hope this helps! Let me know if you still have questions. All the best
@@Daniellaio thank you so much for getting back to me..I will watch these..I think i am on information overload..not to mention old lady brain..LOL
@@Daniellaio so I think the instant site is the stand alone site..I don't need to add it to my facebook, correct?thank you
Haha no worries at all :)
Exactly, the Instant site is the standalone website you can setup directly in Ecwid (even with the free plan), and no need to connect it to Facebook
Is ECwid a Canadian company?
Hi, Ecwid is an international company based in California & Russia, more info here: www.ecwid.com/about
Good video but i found you were talking a little too fast
