Dr White should make his own translation of the bible he understands the Greek well enough to do it and I bet it would be better than the NASB cause he corrects that version alot

I would say that his time would be better spent on what he is already doing (apologetics, preaching, teaching, etc.). I can only imagine the massive undertaking that making your own translation would be.

@ApologiaStudios, I was listening to why you believe Peter and John were sent to the Samaritans. If I may...?
Joel propecised the Holy Spirit would fall upon all flesh.
As you can agree, the HS did not fall upon every single flesh in the NT. So we need to determine what Joel meant by "all flesh."
Later John the baptist also a prophet, said, "He shall baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire."
John was speaking to a mixed crowd, saved and unsaved. Those who were heaven bound, HS, those who were hell bound, fire.
Many believe HS Baptism is for the purpose of forgiving of sins. But is it its purpose.
Let's see if the Bible supports that position.
Just before Jesus ascended to heaven, he commanded his apostles not to leave Jerusalem until they received the promise of the Father, which is the Baptism of the Holy Spirit (Acts 1:4-5).
Ten days later, the apostles are baptized with the Holy Spirit.
Many imply that the 120 disciples were also baptized with the Holy Spirit. But a careful read of Acts 1-2 disproves it. The 120 were just a handful of the amount of the disciples both John and Jesus baptized (Mk.1:4-5; Jn.4:1-2).
The 120 were gathered together a few days earlier with the apostles to determine who could qualify to replace Judas.
The day of Pentecost was a different day, where the text says the apostles were together and received the Baptism. Peter stands up with the eleven, not the 120, and goes out into the crowd to preach the gospel.
As a result, 3000 new converts obeyed the gospel and received the gift of the Holy Spirit, not the baptism of the Holy Spirit.
From then on every Jew who converted to Christ, received the gift of the Holy Spirit. To comfirm the Word, signs/gifts were provided by the laying on of hands of the apostles hands, that came with the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Only the apostles were given this authority with the exception of Annanias who the Lord sent to Paul, was a one time event.
Later Philip goes to Samaria and preaches the gospel. A city the Jews avoided. As a result of his preaching, both men and women obeyed the gospel being baptized for forgiveness of their sins. They were saved,
but, because God had not yet granted repentance to the gentile, they did not receive the Spirit.
When news reached the apostles, they knew the Samaritans would not receive the Holy Spirit after their baptism, So they sent Peter and John.
Notice that before they reached Samaria "they prayed for them, that they might receive the Holy Spirit (Acts 8:15). As you can see, the apostles knew beforehand that they would not receive the Holy Spirit.
    Now notice the following verses.
"(For as yet he was fallen upon none of them: only they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.)"
They were baptized by the authority of Jesus, so God did accept their baptism and saved them, but the Holy Spirit had not yet fallen upon Gentiles.
Again, because God had not yet granted repentance to the gentile nation.
This was a one-time unique event, as the apostles were instructed not to go to Samaria. "These twelve Jesus sent out and commanded them, saying: “Do not go into the way of the Gentiles, and do not enter a city of the Samaritans" (Mt.10:5).
God granted their request, and when Peter and John arrived...
"Then laid they their hands on them, and they received the Holy Spirit."
"And when Simon saw that through laying on of the apostles' hands the Holy Spirit was given, he offered them money...".
As you can see, only the apostles had the ability to lay on hands.
Later when God decides to grant repentance to the gentile nation, He first speaks to Cornelius to send for Peter "He will tell you what you must do.”
As men on on their way, Peter has a vision. With instructions to go with the men, and not doubt.
When Peter arrives, he begins preaching, but before he tells them what they need to do (Acts 11:14), God interrupts, and the household of Cornelius are baptized with the Holy Spirit.
This is now the 2nd and final time for HS Baptism.
When the apostles were baptized with the Holy Spirit, they represented the Jewish nation. When the Holy Spirit fell on the household of Cornelius, they represented the Gentile nation, fulling Joel's prophecy "all flesh."
When the Jews witnessed the Holy Spirit falling upon dogs they were astonished. When Peter witnessed the event, he fully understood the vision, "what I have cleansed do not call unclean."
The purpose for the timing, was to convince the Jews.
Peter responding to the apostles later, said, "who was I that I could withstand God."
When the Holy Spirit fell upon the apostles, they were already forgiven under John's baptism (Mk.1: 4-5; Lk.3:3). So the Holy Spirit falling upon the Apostles was not for the purpose of forgiving their sins.
When the Holy Spirit fell upon the household of Cornelius, neither was it for forgiveness of their sins.
The scriptures says they would be saved by the words they would hear from Peter "who will tell you words by which you and all your household will be saved" (Acts 11:14).
Again, "who will tell you words by which you and your household will be saved," not by Holy Spitit baptism.
Peter then commanded them to be baptized. As you are aware, weather one likes it or not, the Bible does say in several places, Baptism is for forgiveness of sins.
When the household of Cornelius were baptized, they were born again.
Peter explains how one is born of water and Spirit.
"Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently:
Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which lives and abides for ever" (1Pt.1:22-23).
First notice our souls are purified when we obey the truth, through the Spirit.
Not when we believe the truth, but when we obey the truth.
Being born again by the Word of God (vs 22). As the angel instructed Cornelius "who shall tell thee words whereby thou and all thy household shall be saved.
The Holy Spirit works on our hearts through the Word of God, when we obey the truth, our souls are purified.
When the household obeyed, by being baptized, their souls were then purified.
Joel's prophecy began with the apostles, and was fulfilled with the household of Cornelius.

But back to baptism, it was a universal command to all believers for all time. Acts shows us how baptism was done (water immersion) and why (forgiveness of sins) the greek grammer is irrefutable.
Nobody ever became a Christian without water baptism. You nor your friends can use the new testament to logically refute the necessity of baptism. The Greek word for baptidzo does not mean to dip. Notice the mistake that James White made in the video on his definition of baptidzo. He said it means to immerse like a ship sinking. Hello?
Earth to James White. Noticed that the ship that sank is still at the bottom and didn’t come up. If you baptize someone properly you would put them under water and never let them up. That is the proper understanding of the ancient Greek word baptidzo. White missed it.
