- I’ve looked forward to visiting Grand Teton National Park for many years and it did not disappoint! I thought it would be fun to experience two very different nights in the park - camping and staying at a lodge. You know I got some hiking in and took in all the sights, including meeting a few surprise friends on the trail 🐻 I hope you enjoy coming along for the adventure! Thanks for watching ❤︎

We have a lot of bears in our area. That situation was the most dangerous you could’ve been in.
I live by bears, I ski, I hike, I never see bears. You are so lucky! Especially babies!
I love that you stayed here! The Jackson/Teton/Yellowstone area is one of my favorite places in the world. Staying in the NPS lodges are expensive, but so worth it! When my family & I went to the Big Island a few years ago, we splurged to stay a few nights at Volcano House in Volcanos National Park, such an amazing experience! Happy travels!
Ooooommmmmggggosh...bear story has me holding my breath. 🫣
Enjoyed it very much! Thank you for sharing your adventures with us!
Another very interesting location, I would be scared as hell doing a walk solo with bears in the vicinity. The scenery was stunning and the diversity of the landscape on your travels is awesome. From the sand dunes to peaks and lakes. I’m one of your educated but lower income viewers so I wouldn’t be staying in a cabin at that price but I’m very glad you can and bring us along for the journey. We can live vicariously through your experiences and opportunities. Keep doing what you’re doing Jen, it’s working 👍. Something you may like to consider that I’ve seen other (UK)RUclipsrs use is a little tiny fluffy clip on Bluetooth microphone, don’t know if you’ve come across them at all. I can hear you well the majority of the time but now and again on this video your lovely voice is quite faint. I do understand what you’re trying to convey so don’t worry too much, just you may like to consider it.
I am with you, Jenn, I don't want to see any bears!! Since a child I have had an unreasonable fear of bears, I used to have nightmares. I had never seen any bears except in zoos, so I am not sure where that fear came from. I am not really afraid of them anymore but still don't want to see them in the wild except from the safety of my vehicle. Several years ago, we were camping in Lake Itasca State Park. Early one morning I was riding my bicycle on a trail. I came around a curve and saw a bear sitting a little way off in a meadow. We saw each other at the same time. He took off one way. I just kept on peddling the other way. We visited the Grand Tetons two years ago but only spent a day there. I want to go back with the RV and stay awhile. It is so beautiful. Thanks for sharing the beauty.
Jen! How scary!! I’m so afraid of bears!! 🐻 Thank God nothing happened to you and you walked away safely! 💕
My kids' father and I are separated, and so the kids are with me for half of the week now. It is a hard transition not being with them everyday, of course. However, I do feel lighter in spirit, not in a relationship. I feel like when I do see them, I will be able to be more present with them because I am not in a stressful partnership. All that to say, I am enjoying your channel & thanks for the inspiration!🌟✌️✨️
A quality tasting menu where I live is easily 200-250 (depending on adding a wine course as well) so I think you got a good deal! You continue to inspire me (even to get outdoors where I do not go lol) can’t wait to continue watching your adventures :)
I always enjoy seeing your travels & adventures...that bear encounter brought a little anxiety to my stomach, as if I couldn't figure out that you were completely safe & okay if we are seeing the edited video from you! LOL Really happy that turned out well for you! Too bad there was no horseback riding but that cabin you stayed in looked so cozy! Thank you for sharing your travels with us!
So so stunning 😀
You seem to be flourishing Jen, keep going ❤
Omg! When you said it is 10:10, I looked at my clock and it is 10:10 here too when I am watching that exact moment😮
😮😂 oh, I imagine you Hey Bearing the entire trail 😂😅 OMG, I would have a heart attack😂
I love what you do. At my age (68) I would do group hikes if that is still a thing. I also travel solo a bit. Babysitting once a week. But I’m down with leaving a vehicle at an airport. Your life is beautiful. 👍🏼Girl!!
Do you have a video of what’s in you smaller daypack please? I love your packing videos and we are about to take up hiking so would find it very helpful 😊
Brown bears are actually one of the worst bear to encounter. Worse than grizzly bears.
My family saw two bear cubs playing by the side of the road while on vacation in the Smoky Mountains. My Dad and I have super zoom cameras and almost had the photos of a lifetime when the woman in the car just ahead of us got out of her car to get up close and personal with the cubs. You can believe that she scared those cubs half to death and caused everyone in my car to start screaming, "get back in the car, lady!!!" I so thought I was going to see her get mauled by a bear.
I’m so loving all these adventures. Thank you for sharing them here. You inspired me recently. I had driven to another state to visit family & the day that I left to come back home, I found a beautiful 3 mile hike that I could do before hopping into the car for the long drive home. I almost didn’t do it, but then I thought back on what you said in one of your videos about doing things when you can bc life is just too short. So, I did my hike, was rewarded w/ an amazing overlook at the summit & then I drive home. I was so glad to have hiked that day. It was hot but beautiful outside. The trail wasn’t very crowded bc it was a weekday. So, thank you Jen!
So cool you were here, I wish I could have met you! I live and work in the park at the lodge north of colter bay. I hope you enjoyed Grand Teton!
I have a bear bell (from Amazon) that I attach to my back bag. It rings as I walk.
That shirt is cool. Definitely worth it. How long in advance did you have to make the hotel reservation? Some of the National park hotels take years to get into-was this the same situation?
❤😮
I enjoyed this leg of your journey in the Tetons Jen! Thanks for sharing! 🫶🏼
I watched with interest but had difficulty because of the rain and trekking sounds, hearing what was being said. I tried to watch again using the CC but the only words were Music and “please”with other nonsensical jibber jabber. So disappointed as I wanted to learn more about this area. Yikes! A 🐻! I would have broken into a jogwabble( because of my disability I can’t run!) Fun video but would appreciate hearing it. Happy Trails!
I hear all the other people and ambient noises around her just fine. I think outside of closed doors she’s uncomfortable with vlogging so she mumbles and speaks softly or half whispers. Bc as soon as she back indoors you can hear her fine. So I don’t think it’s the mic. 🤷♀️
@@HJPeetRegardless of the reason it was not enjoyable.
i'm curious to know what you would rate that Levain cookie?
😮 oohhhh, Momma Bear sees REAL Momma Bear. I know my heart would’ve skipped a beat or two. 😮 Glad you were prepared and kept your head. I’ve had a few trips change due to unexpected weather myself. Some I was able to do again at a better time and was worth it. Thanks for bringing us along. Take care! By the way, I caught that precious double wave. 😊 Thanks Jen 😊😊
Can you please share more about the ring you wear on your middle finger. I really love the look of it. Also what type of watch are you wearing? Thank you
PSA: "Hey Bear" is not a greeting. You're supposed to say it/make noise before you see the bear! So many people wait until they see the bear before making noise. Not saying thats what you did, just a general reminder from a fellow bear-scared person. 😊
GARBAGE!👎🐻👺
Isnt this where gabby petito died?
I have been wondering with all ur trails you go on when u run into bears. I get it l am absolutely terrified of bears. I am going on an Alaskan cruise Saturday + thats bear county already having a ton of anxiety of running into a bear l don’t get people who want to see them
I love your adventures! Even the bear siting! Happiness looks great on you 💕
I haven’t watch you in years! Glad to see you again! How are the kids? Where are they?
She divorced they're most likely with Dad or grandparents
@@nagaempress it seems like she's traveling extensively. How long has she been away from her kids?
Troll
@@bcfeigful she takes trips and she's doing some good self-care. She talks about the kids I'm assuming that they're sharing time between both houses
@@nagaempress that's great. She seems happy traveling
I'd like to add the chipmunk to my FB friends' list. Jen, might you have the monk's contact info?
Thank goodness you get to write off your travel as a business expense! Makes the high price tag a little more tolerable.
Eek. Jealous much?
IRS has limitations on deductions for Business deductions
In what way r these business expenses. No wonder she spends money like water -/wow Jen
Not smart to hike alone (or maybe at all) in bear country.
