I like it because you get it that "calming" and "relaxing " music = insipid noise that detracts from the experience; that narration and (ugh!) shots of the narrator are the last things people want to hear and see when they're watching travel videos. We want beautiful (or otherwise interesting) scenery with only the sounds we would hear if we were there in person. We want to immerse ourselves in different places, which doesn't include a 20-something Instagramer trying to pass herself off as a professional documentarian. Places familiar and therefore special. Places unfamiliar and therefore special. I live in Springville, so I commend your Utah videos, but I will be watching those that take me out of state, especially my former home Montana.* *Some may disparage the scenery east of Billings compared to west of Billings, but (1) the Plains have their own beauty, and (2) when you leave the interstates from the hidden roads of the southern Crow reservation eastward to Ekalaka, it's anything but flat places, ifyouknowwhatimeanandithinkyoudo.

If the Sierra Nevada Mountains along Highway 395 in California are any indication then I'd say the Tetons will still have quite a bit of snow on them right now.

I really appreciate that you show us the views from different overlooks and pushouts. That view over the Jackson Lake at 43:02 was pretty concerning. Thank you for your great work and for helping me finding out where I will want to go, if I ever make it over the pond for a nice road trip. Always safe travels for all of you.

This was great! We will drive 191 for sure. The Grand Tetons and the fall colors look amazing! We arrive in Jackson Hole, WY on Nov 16th for 5 days. Being Floridians, we are excited for a mountain getaway. I've been watching the Jackson Hole town square cam everyday. I see some snow there and cold temps. We are ready for it. I hope there are still some fall colors to see and look forward to seeing the snow covered mountains. It should be beautiful! Thanks for sharing! Justine

The contrast of blues, yellows and greens perfectly captures the scenery of autumn in the American countryside. When you look at the dam, it looks like the amount of water is small, but Japan has a lot of rain and there are many cloudy days even in autumn.
4:56 Fun fact: The spot where you can glimpse Grand Teton National Park from afar is the Grizzlies West mountains visible from New Hanover in RDR2. Rockstar really nailed the recreation of that.

For last 6 years I've had the privilege of working in Teton National Park. My season was over early October and I already wish it was time to go back. Have you done videos like this but on the hiking trails in the park such as Cascade canyon or even Paintbrush Canyon? Awesome video by the way.
We haven’t been, so can’t say for sure. But I’d imagine it’s nice and quiet there, probably some snow on the ground and lots more in the mountains too.

I don’t remember the water levels this low. I hope this is temporary, but fear it is not. Even the landscape appears drier than I remember.
