Nice video. Only suggestion I would have is slow it down a bit.

The Tetons are my favorite place. My adult daughters and I were there in 2020 and 2022. Those vistas just never get old! The American Alps.
I saw lots of familiar shots in your video, but also other things I hadn't seen before, particularly the Cascade hike. That's a full day, but didn't look to strenuous - other than the altitude. Finally: WOW! You sure saw a lot of wildlife. The only animal we saw last time was a fox carrying a fish across the Coulter parking lot back from the lake. Pretty humorous, actually! Thanks for a beautiful and well paced/edited video.

Thanks! We never saw a fox but that with a fish would have been awesome to see! We were very lucky with the weather and wildlife for sure!

I like the part where you start seeing the lake with ice on it at 31:50. If I was at the scene, I could have have had a nice swim as I can do ice baths. I did one yesterday. I have a little stock tank which I do my ice baths in. I had plenty of ice cubes in the one I did yesterday so both places had very similar temperatures. I needed to do one in order to get myself to do any work outside as the weather has been so hot in the area where I live now. When you get hot weather you just don’t feel like doing anything.

I was there a month ago. It’s a beautiful park. If you go back with a 4x4, take a drive through Shadow Mountain.

Thanks! I will be going to Japan later this year, but that will be more car-related (Mt Fuji will be closed for hiking then). Hopefully Joshua Tree National Park sometime after that trip!

Nice video. I did the Paintbrush Canyon/Cascade Canyon loop in August 2010. The lake was clear of snow and people were swimming. Great hike. I also ran into a baby moose and mother. I wish I knew about the kayaking on the lake. I was on a tight hiking schedule, but that would have been nice to do.

Nice hike! We initially didn't plan to go all the way to the lake until the last minute at the fork otherwise we should have done the loop like you. I wish I could have seen grizzly bear lake from paintbrush divide. Didn't see a grizzly in Teton all trip outside the taxidermy one at Jackson Lodge.

Awesome video, do you remember what the name of this valley or spot is called? @ 30:01

It's North Cascade Canyon. It's on the Lake Solitude Trail. I think I'm standing near 43.779212, -110.827186 and looking at Teton, which is south of me in that shot. That was probably my favorite view the entire trip to Wyoming!

Please call it "Independence day" instead of 4th of July. So many people don't even know what Independence day is for.

Really bizarre comment considering it's their friggin state. You should be grateful they are ready and willing to share it with you. And I'm sure they wouldn't ask you who you voted for.
