This is exactly how I remember my childhood days (nights). I used to sleep with this beautiful and comforting sound. It gave me a safety feeling of being inside my family’s home, with my parents and siblings, while I fell asleep with the sound of a torrential rain falling on the zinc roof. I love rain and thunder.

Felt inspired to write my poem. I am a believer in Jesus, and His calling for my life. Rain, is a metaphor of the Holy Spirit reminding me not to stall. Rain is not to be worshipped, however, rain led by the Lord’s strength, has the capacity to either bless those or curse those according toHis will. Evil is prevalent as long as satin is free, however, we have the rain/spirit to remind us of our calling for which satin will attempt to distract us from.
