Hi, I'm at camp with the youth movement I volunteer at, and normally the kids of my group have some troubles falling asleep. But tonight we tried this video and all of them became really calm and fell asleep. I just left their room, but it was great to see them so peacefully sleeping. So thank you for this❤. I just gotta say, rain is one of those things that is commonly used with a negative connotation. In writing it creates a scene of sadness or fear but in real life it hardly does that. Rain is beautiful in its own way, seeing as it’s helping so many people get a decent nights sleep. But rain is also a life giver, I mean the very source that all things need to live is literally falling from the sky. It’s nice that people open up. I’m no therapist but I try to answer with a degree of common sense and things I’ve learnt over many years of using and making these videos.
The absence of daily noices. We don't know or realize how bad, unhealthy these noices really are to us. It's the peace, the healing from noise sickness, the rainy silence you experience. An effect your body and mind experience from nature sounds. You body takes a step back into the nature, into comfortable, unstressful moments. I know it sounds esoteric but it isn't.
I work in a prison. It's a tough job and can be violent. The sound of the rain helps me to relax before bed and ease any anxiety. So I appreciate this video, as I'm sure many others do. Thanks.

I just gotta say, rain is one of those things that is commonly used with a negative connotation. In writing it creates a scene of sadness or fear but in real life it hardly does that. Rain is beautiful in its own way, seeing as it’s helping so many people get a decent nights sleep. But rain is also a life giver, I mean the very source that all things need to live is literally falling from the sky. So while rain can be scary sometimes, ultimately it washes away a lot of bad and provides for tomorrow. Hope everyone sleeps well because as proof of this comment section, you’re not alone.
