I really loved this video. Back when I surfed, I called him Hankie, because he was a gremmie to me. That was back in the late 50s and early 60s. But to see this video was just wonderful. I knew he was in the business, but this was so special for me to see the wonderful level of accomplishment that he has by shaping these beautiful boards. It truly is an art to do this, and so now Hank is no longer a "gremmie" to me any more in my mind. He is a true artist.

He sure is. I got off the phone with him about an hour ago after discussing having him make me a new stick. Certainly one of our SD legends.
