Dude just pops off the film, all over the field. If he can stay healthy would be an all pro simply on his athleticism alone.
If he does not lower the boom but shows a tendency to wrap up and generate a solid tackle, I call that a good thing. Too many times I have seen players try to simply hit instead of wrapping up, only to see the ball-carrier extend the play for additional yards.
Also, the NFL is aware that its product depends on having the highest-quality players on the field. Obviously, if the best player is hurt, he cannot take the field. I predict, therefore, that the NFL will continue to hone and target the rules of the game in ways that make injuries less and less likely. This guy may be part of the new breed that will be needed if a team is to continue to achieve excellence within the NFL's new paradigm.

Great combo of size, skill and speed. Crazy high potential.. i hate to say it, but he reminds me of Shazier. I just hope he can stay healthy, thats the biggest reason he dropped.

They do it because the high ceiling. Remember the Steelers are no where close to competing with teams like, Chiefs, 49ers, etc... So taking high ceiling players is 100% necessary.
We cannot continue to do safe picks and keep going 9-8. This is why we take the high risk players. Because even if they DO pan out. We STILL might not be good enough to make a SB run. Like for example, let's say Troy Fautanu is the best RT in the league. Let's say Payton Wilson and Queen become the best ILB duo as well. Let's also say Roman Wilson is a top 10 WR somehow. Even with all these dream.like scenarios coming true, it probably still isn't enough to beat the Chiefs, 49ers, Bills,.etc... We are just way too far away from competing. What WE REALLY NEED IS, Mahomes. Josh Allen and Mahomes. The 49ers also just have an insane roster. But we need a QB who is near perfect and can superman for us.
