    So, when Russ hits the burg, the national media is all a flutter over how amazing he is. But, the entire time he's in Denver, the national media treats him like he has a football transmitted disease. This isn't about Russ. Never has been. This is just another example of how the national media gets a little chubby in their pants when they get an opportunity to dog on Denver sports.

      @@skeezix8156 I'm sorry but Pitts offense isn't better than Denvers in any department. Russ was the weakest link. The team as a whole wasn't too bad. Got 8 wins with a QB that averaged 150 yards. Everyone was pretty decent besides that one Miami game. Everyone but Russ. All those TDs he threw, were because Sean schemed open wrs for easy TDs and always threw in the redzone. Aurther Smith will not be able to even come close to those kind of play calls. I don't need to persuade you, you will see, in time, and calling for his head just like all the other Steeler fans. Just wait.

  • @db212006
    @db212006 27 дней назад

    I feel bad for Steelers fans, they are way too excited about Russ, and are always like "did you see how bad our QBs were last year", not realizing how padded those Russ stats are. If you truly wanna know what you have in a QB go watch some Denver games. It's 3 Qs of Russ taking sacks to knock them out of scoring range and a 4th quarter where he either fumbles for the loss, ints for the loss, or throws a TD for the win(mostly bailed out by Sutton's amazing catch radious). It's not gonna be the ride you were hoping for. But I guess offseason is the time to be hopeful. I would bet money that Pitts fans will be calling for Justin Fields name by week 5-6 though(too bad Russ probably has stipulations in his contract where he can't be benched). Welp good luck Steeler fans, I don't want Russ to fail for you guys, but I just can't see it. I watched way too much of him last year and he's just not a good QB. In fact, he was one of the most painful QBs I've ever watched in the Orange and Blue, and we have had a lot of stinkers.

    Steelers fan, love JW. He could have worded this better. A lot of people got on the anti Kenny bandwagon pretty quick. They seemed to get more upset about him than Diontae Johnson and all the garbage he did last year. It also reflects poorly on Mason and he was a total professional last year. RW has been doing this a lot longer and had a career that reflects a lot more highs and lows and how to handle that so I am not suprised- I just wish he said Russ and JF had been great without it making it look like the guys last year were garbage.

    Bears fan here…here’s my take, if y’all see Fields actually testing DBs then he finally got it. He refused to test them the 3 years like he was scared to throw a pick. Maybe he was told not to throw into coverage by the dummies here? Who knows…but man he has a fucking ARM. I pray they let that kid sling it and see what NFL “Open” is. I don’t want to hear about the line or WR cuz he missed plenty of open guys all year. But when he came back from injury and was forcing balls in and actually testing guys, it was night and day. That’s the Fields you guys want, he’ll turn nothing into 30yd scramble with ease, but pair that with him being comfortable and passing. I’m tuning in for Steelers games this year that’s for sure
