Throughout our history, we have a bad habit of not taking the WR in the WR draft, and then waiting until the cupboard is nearly bare, to take one in the 1st or 2nd round of a draft where it doesn't make sense. From not trading up for Dez in 10' when Belichick offered us the chance to, which then led to Torrey in the 2nd Round of 11'. From not taking a WR high in 2014, to forcing the Perriman pick in 2015. From not taking a WR in 2020 (Because we picked wrong the year prior), to forcing the Bateman pick in 21. This is the 'WR' draft. We need to get fat and happy at the position now. But, by the same token, there are OTs to be had in round 2. Personally, if Fuaga doesn't fall in the first, I want to trade down. And of the 2nd round OTs, I like Amedagjie and Samataia, in that order. If we can trade back and get a third, then that would give us two seconds, two thirds and we could use Day Three picks to maneuver and take a OT and both WRs. Especially, if one of them slides to round 3. So I know I rambled a lot, lol, and a lot would have to go our way. But we could put ourselves in position, if need be, to make three picks in the second, get our OT, Legette and Pearsall.
