He started out as receiver early in high school then switched to QB cause he was the best athlete on the team and they wanted the ball in his hands every play to make choice of run or throw. Didn't switch back to WR till college

As a panther fan, gotta hope for the best, but i think he's definitely an upgrade from Mingo just the speed alone. With Theilen and Johnson getting the bulk of targets he's in a better spot than Mingo was coming in. Less immediate pressure to perform, and can return kicks while building on his game and learning from a couple vets. Kinda like the guy with the glasses on the left did when he was a kid lol. Also, i think Mingo will take a step forward in year 2. Bryce with a couple extra seconds to find guys as well as him having some nfl experience will make a big difference imo. The high pick might be a little added pressure but i don't think it'll matter. Some wr screens like the old John Fox and 89 days, some reverses, line him up in the backfield and let him cook. If you can't make that size and speed work, you're doing something wrong as a coaching staff

Alshon was a solid NFL receiver. Also different body types. You can tell X is a gym rat and he has natural genes.
