    And Josh Allen was going to be a career backup according to a lot of pre and post draft “experts” while Josh Rosen was more polished and “NFL ready”. The only thing I know for sure is that these “experts” don’t know for sure.

    According to his 40 time he runs 18 miles an hour. That isn't super fast. But his game speed is much faster he hits 21 mph during the game. Great hands. Which is Paramount for a wide receiver. He will be great when Josh Allen extends the play Coleman will be there. He's going to be a star. And for one I'm glad the Buffalo bills have him. His attitude is infectious.

    • @chreal9863
      @chreal9863 4 месяца назад

      He's got the vision to see the field which is more important than straight line speed. Spiller was straight-line speed, Fred Jackson was slower but better b/c he had the vision. Vision is more important than speed. Not to mention he knows how to use his body to block the defender.

    All I can say about Coleman is, being a FSU fan, the Seminoles were a bad team until Coleman transferred to them. When Coleman was out of the game, FSU struggled on offense. I know it is college and the pros is a different animal, but FSU went from mediocre to almost the playoffs (top 4 colleges in the country) with his arrival to FSU. Sometimes players don't look the part, but they just know how to win. That said, I see Coleman as a number 2 receiver who can take over a game with the right QB. He reminds me of a smaller Mike Evans.

    • @seanbenton1213
      @seanbenton1213 4 месяца назад +2

      Agree. I think Coleman has a little more wiggle to him though. Biggest difference is Mike can get separation in 1 on 1. I saw Keon struggle at times with good corners at times with this but that is me knit picking. I was hoping he would slide down further and give my Bucs a chance at getting him.

      I’m a Bills fan and was not a huge fan of this pick but he’s really grown on me. He does everything else so well except for separation. I really hope him being a 2 sport athlete and splitting his time with bball was the reason why he’s so unpolished as a route runner. He probably just out athleted everyone in HS and college and never had to develop a route tree.

    • @seanbenton1213
      @seanbenton1213 4 месяца назад +3

      @@awill3454 yup you hit the nail on the head. I think it’s worth the risk. One thing you won’t have to worry about is him being a locker room problem. I know that’s cliché but the Bills need that after Diggs and the way he came across. The guy will go out there and block his butt off. And truly is a team first guy. But you know he is a good athlete because he was even returning punts for us.

  • @hard_at_work
    @hard_at_work 23 дня назад

    The DK Metcalf comparison is spot on. I remember him being high profile receiver entering the draft, straight killing the combine, jump ball specialist but knocked on his route running learning abilities and techniques. Still remember when he was drafted second round and he approached Pete Carrol tears in his eyes saying ' Why y'all wait so long on me man ' but Carrol lifted him up like the true coach he is and was. All the best to Keon Coleman. Go Bill's and Go12

  • @SteveLewczyk

    When Josh extends the play and reverts to back yard football, Coleman will be at his most dangerous. Who knows if Coleman every becomes a great route runner. You don't make your power forward a three point shooter. You take advantage of the natural advantage the playewr brings. Coleman is a big, physical, competitive WR that Josh never had.

    FSU fan here,🍢🍢🍢🍢!!!! ppl are saying he ain’t it and isn’t good etc.etc. It depends on what a franchise wants. Stats, Impact or both. That being said I think he will be one of the best impactful players/WR in the draft. I watched his impact at FSU be tremendous, his initiative to say in words of Keyshawn Johnson “throw me the damn ball” help elevate the confidence of the entire Seminole offense and team you even seen Jordan Travis excitement and confidence as a QB grew a bit, not that JT wasn’t a already confident QB he is one of the dudes as well, but just knowing he can throw the ball in his direction and then almost expect him to win those one on ones. Keon Coleman isn’t afraid of the bright lights. So, stats wise yes it’s probably not top 2 or 3 or 5 but impact wise he’s the difference. Keon is going to have a lot of ppl wishing if they pass up on him.

    With all due respect sir, your physical stats on Coleman are straight up wrong. He is actually 6'4", 215lbs. You come off clean hating on the guy from the get. Yet you go on to mention he was hampered by the change in QB play which maybe resulted in not breaking 1K yards perhaps? Sure he's not Harrison or Nabers but guess who also had a horrible combine? Tom Brady, the GOAT. Just saying. I think he has more good than bad potential. He also ran a faster gauntlet than Puka Nacua if that has any relevance.

    I agree big slot is likely the right place for Coleman. He’s a zone beater, has shown a good feel for that, and can really run after the catch. That said, the contested catch rate, as Steve said, is misleading. There are a lot of good high point catches on his tape, and his hands are excellent. Lot of bad throws on the tape.

    • @bc_qbeval
      @bc_qbeval 5 месяцев назад +2

      Yes, overrated. One of the worst YAC receivers I've ever seen from someone who has such great physical measurables. He doesn't break tackles or show great breakaway speed in games. I genuinely have no idea how he ran an official 4.3. But I do like his route running nuance...there is real upside there. I think he can be a good possession receiver but not a WR1 like some people are trying to suggest.

    I thing Coleman could be a plus route runner if he can improve his technique. He showed at the combine testing that he has elite short area quickness. I just he feels to work on the precision part of it. Coleman is a bit of an enigma for me. He is slower than you would like to see, but he is actually an outstanding YAC guy. I can’t help but see N’Keal Harry when I watch him because that man traumatized me. But I think there is more upside for Coleman

    Listen if the 4.2 guy turns out to be another T. Hill the other two picks better pan out or Brandon BEANE will be fired. I know speed kills and watching Allen throw it 70 yards would have been tasty. But Jerry Rice had a 4.7 combine time! On NFL films I never saw Jerry get caught from behind, EVER...DID YOU? I hope this guy will help in the red zone with his size. Draft is over so My advice as a former player and lover of the game get even stronger, get with some one to get faster and be part of a team that I think is going to play better as the coordinator will have these guys for the whole year. In OTA's, mini camp,training camp be the first on the field and last off the field. Stay with a pro and leave the nightlife alone. Be first in line for all drills! Catch those punts and be a quiet leader. Catch as many balls with the backups and ballpeiple before and after practice. Don't give the haters a chance to hate. Be yourself, but vets don't like loud rookies. Jump into the stands after a TD....LET THAT BE YOUR JOY FOR THE SEASON. YOU HAVE A SHOT THAT PEOPLE WOULD DO ALMOST ANYTHING FOR. SO DO IT. LEARN THE PLAYBOOK AND THE OTHER POSITIONS. BE TRUE TO BUFFALO AND YOU WILL HAVE THE BEST 10 YEARS OF YOUR LIFE. JERRY RICE....4.7....BE THE GUY PEOPLE LOOK UP TOO. GET YOUR REST AND DO ALL THE RECOPERATION AIDS THEY HAVE AT OP. CHECK YOUR SUPPLEMENTS WITH THE TRAINERS. REWARD YOURSELF TO ONE.NIGHT OF PIZZA AND WINGS. LEAVE THE WHATEVER TO THE OFFSEASON...BUT WHAT DID JERRY4.7 RICE DO IN THE OFFSEASON? GODSPEED YOUNG MAN!
