Here after the broncos draft Franklin and Nix 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Steve Smith has always been pretty on point with WR.
Steve has no problem telling it like he sees it. He was undersized and speedy but he had to develop his game to be as good as he was. That's what makes his analysis valuable plus his no bs attitude
Jerry Jeudy being a JAG was definitely on point
Troy Franklin is nice I think people are still sleeping on him
He’s ok
I said the same thing on his short. He will be an underrated pick! I think he’s round 1 talent no questions asked.
He’s Jaylin Hyatt 2.0 he isnt anything crazy he’ll be a solid deep threat but that’s about it
Jacob Cowing is more underrated than Troy. He's on the same level too
@@Mokuteke mans called em a glorified Jaylin hyatt 😂💀
The fact the league really let him fall to pick 102 to the broncos with nix is crazzzzy to me. I had a late 1st to 2nd round grade on him and for him to fall in the 4th is amazing for Denver.
Patiently waiting for Ricky Pearsall review
Hoping Sr. does a pre-draft updating rankings and such --- seems like this will be a fun class to try to project in the draft ..
Yep, top heavy. 3 studs up top, and a few key contributors.
You already know!!
@@thatfantasynetwork132 it’s definitely not top heavy this might be the deepest wr class of all time. I can count 6 guys who can be number 1 options on playoff teams. And other guys who will contribute majorly right away
@@Mokuteke “it’s definitely not top heavy..” then goes on to say it 6 #1s lol wouldn’t that be too heavy? Anyways there’s only 3 stud WRs! The most of the others you probably like are fake-alphas…like Brian Thomas, AD Mitchell. And Keon Coleman. But I don’t want to waste my words arguing over the unseen, so check back on a year or two…Worthy, Franklin, and McConkey should be fine though.
@@thatfantasynetwork132 top heavy means there are a few great guys and everyone else is average or below average. Thats not the case in this draft
Welcome to Denver 💨
Dat Bo Nix / Franklin stack tho!
For the past hundred plus years nobody in football has complained about speed. This guy will be a good player.
That’s not true at all. I mean majority of the fast guys ever ain’t last long.
Maybe look at all the wrs with the top 40 times, not exactly the best company 😂
You can't be JUST fast...is the point
But he is known as a speed guy....he is much more.
@@Jaybrown223 how is he much more his routes are average and his route tree is limited. Being able to do one thin gr really well isn’t a bad thing people saying he’s a deep threat aren’t say he’s a bad player their only saying that’s the role that his skill sets projects to be
Don’t let no “gauntlet drill” fool u.. he should’ve trained better to execute it but he’s a much better WR than he looked in the drills.. he’s good in real football
"... and his weekness... is speed"
I know I'm listening to someone who knows what they're talking about when they see the nuance in this. Both you and @Thinking Football brought this point up and it can 100% be a challenge to overcome (i.e. requiring too many steps to cut or fake a corner and not being able to stop on a dime consistently).
Weakness... but I concur. Track stars rarely work out
did your mic drop out or not record? sounds like on-camera mic is picking up Steve's audio.
Steve's shirt is on point
Steve smith your sleeping on Ricky Pearsall. He the most slept on wr in the draft and it’s not even close !!!
Naw, I got him locked in. 89 driving the bus !!!
I’m waiting for a pearsall video too
David White jr Hayden hatten
He’s this year s Jalin Hyatt …. As a giants fan ….. I think he ll be similar as a rookie…. Maybe not volume but if he averages 17 a catch it won’t surprise me
i’d love to see his breakdown of jamari thrash, he may be my favorite sleeper in this class
Love the breakdowns I hope you do a breakdown on a big X receiver like Keon Coleman or Xavier Legette cause that’s a big panthers need
He did bro
I thought Mingo and Shenault was the answer ??
@@silence3916shenault isn’t on the roster
@@silence3916 I never liked Mingo's lack of separation at Ole Miss. He also didn't dominate contested catches 💯
@@khbrown8963Mingo was seen more as a Z
I agree with steve smith
Gotta do Brian Thomas Jr next!
Troy is definitely a sleeper.Skys the limit with this dude.Has a great coach
I wanted the Patriots to draft him so bad. He was still on the board in the late rounds. His field speed seems faster than his 40 time. I think in the right system he’ll be good for 1000 yards seasons. They linked him up with Bo Nix his college teammate.
We need to hear Steve's opinion on Hayden hatton
Yes!!! Gonna be a steal
Biggest WR Sleeper Dominating The Whole Year !
In the pac 2
I will only call him a “sleeper” due to his stock supposedly dropping in the public’s eyes…but usually well known players in the class don’t get called sleepers lol
Steve what are your thoughts on Leggette
He nice
Can you do David White jr bub means Hayden hatten Cornelius Johnson
Pls do a video on Ricky Pearsall
Love the videos, but you need better sound equipment.
Can you do Ladd from Georgia
Oh I’m sure he will
He runs pretty good routes to be that fast.
Washington (pac 12 championship) 4/34/0tds
Washington (oct 11th) 8/154/1td
Oregon state 9/128/1td
Washington state 4/79/0tds
USC 2/147/1tds
other pac 12 wrs in this draft
Jacob cowing
Rome odunze
Jalen McMillan
Jaylynn Polk
Anthony Gould
Brenden rice
Tahj Washington
Xavier weaver
Devaughn vele
How do you feel about Brian Thomas Jr and do you think the Colts can get him with the 15 overall pick I’m a die hard Colts fan #coltsnation
He does feel like a Colts’ player…but he won’t be better than Pittman, so you’ll be wasting a first round pick on him.
Thank you for this. Now, maybe these other youtubers will stop saying Panthers will take him over ladd or keon.
They took legette…
Jerry Who??? Don't remem..... Oh that guy who couldn't catch???? We in the future now.
I think he’d be great opposite Diggs in buffalo. Trade down and draft him at like 35-40 or I’d be fine with him at 28
xavier worthy gotta be next after his texas pro day
Steve you are the goat! Which receiver should the chiefs take round one if they go that route?
Any of the deep threats. Worthy, Franklin, or if AD falls they should grab him
Tahj Washington - USC please !!!!
you were right on day 2-3 day but why did you have him on ur #7 overall on ur list on twitter
he mighta had him as wr7 which could mean he is about a day 2-3 pick
#7 ranker wide.
There still 21 other positions
Future Chief!
Rice 🍚 son of The GOAT 🐐
I like him for KC to replace MVS go routes 🙏
These "analysts" talk about what somebody needs to "work on," but the issue is team fit. Will a team use him in the way that got him to the NFL to start? These guys are always compared to unicorns. Franklin had 81 receptions, 1383 yards, and 14 TDs last year. Oregon maximized what he did well. That is what you do with every player. He might be in the perfect position in Denver with Bo Nix. What was Randy Moss' "accessory"? He was blazing fast and athletic. It got him to the Hall of Fame. He "struggled" to get off the line and with his route running according to Mel Kiper Jr when he got drafted. Who cares? Just throw the ball up.
i fw 89 heavy cause im a duck fan but i felt like troy was overrated .. i couldn’t tell what it was but he wasn’t it imo .. 89 hit it right ona nail tho
Give me some Bub Means tape for that day 3 gem, wait.. no.. don't!! Wait til after he's drafted!
Yup...🤫
It’s crazy that he called that he’d be taken in the fourth round.
He looks like he runs faster in the game 😮
Tahj Washington please
He isnt as fast as i thought he was..that was like his main thing...SPEED. Maybe his in-game speed is the difference maker. I still want him on the chiefs if possible.
Better than Jerry Jeudy already lol 😂
They got him at 6'3
Troy Franklin is my number one wide receiver
Sorry man
YOU ARE A TERRIBLE SCOUT IF THATS TRUE
Troy Franklin is one of my favorites. I don’t count MHJ, Malik Nabers, Rome Odunze, Bryan Thomas, Jr. because they’re definitely going first round. Xavier Legette, Adonais Mitchell, Keon Coleman, and of course, Troy Franklin are my other favorites.
That’s terrible
Good thing you aren’t a scout then
Hope the jags get Franklin
Welcome to the Broncos.
Agent 89 you should break down Xavier weaver tape his name not ringing alot of bells but the kid is a dog
Do Isaiah Williams out of Illinois
Why go over a player who’s film doesn’t stick out, that projecting to go undrafted???
@@thatfantasynetwork132 dude nice wym
he's 5'9 182 and ran a 4.63!!! man stop it! Average would be his ceiling!!@@devin9522
Zero chance Troy Franklin makes it to the 4th round lol
1st or 2nd round. Top of 3rd at the latest
He’s not a first round talent the only reason he might go round 1 is because a team like the chiefs don’t need anything but a new deep threat
This did not age well. Broncos snag him in 4th
You’ll never guess what happened
His intermediate game will be better because in the nfl because he with his QB Bo Nix on the same team.
Bad writing lol...Bo Nix & Troy Franklin on the same NFL team.
Go broncos!
IF Im Carolina Im drafting receivers who can get open real fast. Thats Franklin and Mcconkey. That dudes not leggette.
Steve says 4th round and Bills probably taking him in round 1. Call up your boy Brandon Beane please!
Please
Tell him no
He's going before 4th
Dillon Gabriel has a chance to beat Nix’s record this year ironically enough
Is Dillon even the Fs starter did they not give Dante a chance to compete this spring
@@Mokuteke he is, D’ante specifically said he wanted to sit and develop as well.
@@XxDayDay12xX that is something Dante would say. That my hs Qb I’m telling you now he has what it takes to be a nfl hall of famer his mindset is incredible. He would have the Wr stay after every practice we would be out there 1-2 hours after practice already finished
@@Mokuteke I’m hoping we’re able to redshirt him but I don’t think so, it sucks he left for UCLA. He could’ve been year 2 in Oregon’s system and ahead of the game while retaining his freshman year of eligibility. But he had to test himself as a starter so I understand, he learned what he needed to and got valuable experience. Oregon fans are excited for his future for sure. We think he’ll be a Heisman favorite in a year or two.
@@XxDayDay12xX he’ll have no problem picking up a system. Our system at king was very advanced we had around 200 different plays each season that we could run and a lot of them were put in by either Dante or us wr sending our OC stuff to run. We had nfl plays and college plays in our playbook. Which is why Dante looks way more polished when it comes to going through progressions than other young QBs and I’ll tell you now the only reason he ever decommited from Oregon was because Coach Dilly left which was the main guy that made him pick Oregon
he sounds like Mecole Hardman to me.
Chiefs fan. He’s not Mecole. Troy can actually run a route.
@@kev792 idk, Steve just said he’s not very good at routes.
@@KidsCalledmeMrGlassand Steve is right 100% of the time???
@@alexha2884 idk, i know he watched the film.
@@KidsCalledmeMrGlass just cuz u watch film on someone doesn’t mean your opinion of what u see is 100% right and Steve is no exception just cuz he played Lmao
Brenden rice next?
I want Ricky Pearsall and Luke Mccaffery
What about Ladd McConkey if you're talking about white WR prospects. All three have great measurables and have been productive.
@@leroypena5113 has nothing to do with pigment. I want a slot receiver, late round, for my Chargers, and I think they will be great
@@leroypena5113 Ladd Mcconkey would be awesome too
@LilCasinoMusic there was nothing really outstanding about Cooper Kupp during his senior year at Eastern Washington. Average measurables, 4.55-4.65 speed. He did run great routes and had excellent hands and YAC production. I can see Pearsall, McCaffery and McConkey all being really good WRs in the NFL.
As a Denver fan, if Steve Smith likes him i like him. I find it funny we traded Judy after what steve said about him. I wish him the best in Cleveland but the dude was just a guy. And i totally agree and when Judy did had moments to take the game over it literally slipped through his hands. I'm looking forward to the Bo Nix and Troy Franklin era in Denver with Sean Payton at the helm.
2nd round to the 49ers
Let them 😤 sleep 😴
Heard he cant catch
Another tank dell
Al davis is back from the dead
Chicken legs
Should've added NFL combine for one of his worst performances 😂
I would love to see Brenden Rice to be next to be evaluated. Franklin isn't better than Rice, Baker, McConkey, Burton, Pearsall and Leggette.
He’s going through them as he gets to their film he’s not going in any particular order
@yrgredpanda2366 appreciate I'm going on my time line lol
You’re bugging Troy has produced top numbers for 2 years straight
@@ahkeelcarter1791 Troy is a two trick pony. The others are more well rounded receivers. Facts
@@ahkeelcarter1791 if college numbers translated to nfl numbers then Jonny football would have been one of the greatest nfl players ever and Tom would have never played a down
TROY FRANKLIN IS OVERRATED JUST LIKE JALIN HYATY FROM
LAST YEAR!!
Hyatt got 3 round draft capital, so I don’t think the league viewed him high…I don’t that’s the case for Franklin. I can’t see him getting to the 3rd.
Franklin stinks
If you think Franklin stinks, talent evaluation may not be for you…either that or your vernacular is extremely limited.
@@thatfantasynetwork132 cant catch. Route tree limited to screens and go's. 20th percentile athlete relative to weight. Theres nothing to get excited about. This is the 2024 version of Treylon Burks and Quentin Johnston. But you were probably high on those guys too because you just looked at the box score and not the context.
