Great job! I liked that you highlighted that not all customers have the budget for making good all the time etc! Often we get criticised and labelled as cowboys when actually it often comes down to clients requests and budgets!
@@SmartPipePlumbing sometimes that’s harder than anything! I’ve got a few going on at the moment that want the fancy anthracite column rads but are trying to push the price down!
Did you spot your mistake on the syphon? Sorry but you called the flush valve a fill valve. Just so the apprentices don’t get muddled. Nice vid mate and good advice. 👍
Paying straight away......lol if only! 30-40 days credit expected by most customers ha ha they want you to come straight away but pay later..nice video keep it up thank you
My invoices and quotes are payment on completion if its a ball valve or new boiler I will happily stand there after saying how do you want to pay, can't go to get food and say I will pay you next week simple as that.
Triton Easy fit T80Z or Mira Jump no pipework alterations. Instead of using a compression elbow use a bent iso valve that way you've got local isolation. Using the existing shower hose & handset will invalidate the warranty if they have an issue with the shower. If you sell the shower as a direct replacement instead of cheap as chips they'll understand the benefits and cheaper labour as less work to do.
All a cost thing mate customer wanted it as cheap as possible, I wouldn’t change any more for fitting the enrich as I would the t80z easi fit or the jump
@@SmartPipePlumbing there is £20 quid in it, customers only know what they are told, if you say this one or that one won't fit they don't k know any better
@@deanmiles8421 fair enough just like to let customer have a choice, gave them the option of the straight swap and the cheapest shower I could get that same day
I don't wana be that guy lol but I will be You should of turned off the MCB and locked it off Secondly volt sticks are handy, but (whenever possible) you should always use a voltage tester to test a circuit is dead

Exactly mate, not everything can be all singing all dancing, you just got to do what you can do to meet the clients budget

Plumbing is a dream and a nightmare at the same time. FACT. Leaks are a part of life. To fix them is another story.
Exactly that mate, it can make or break some people

Speak to a college
Good video. Yeah I dont think they will insulate that pipe and if they do it probably wont be external insulation!
I know for definite they’ll be ringing me up again next year to repair it again 😂
Who did you end up dealing with to get going with press
I went direct to rigid tool shop
Why not use the Triton easyfit, they are cheap and you don't have to mess about with the pipes
I would of done exactly the same as you said.
What they saved in tbe shower they lost on the labour.

Yes I know but let’s be honest a lot of people don’t do it and never have
I see you have changed your tool bag again
Yeah I’m trying out the rogue 2.0 as a day to day bag and using my 3.0 as a install bag
@@SmartPipePlumbing let me no how you get on with pal. I’m thinking of getting the NB200 at the installer show. It looks a great bag

@SmartPipePlumbing ye a vid would be good. I've go the velocity 2 but not sure what to use it for..
🤘😎🤘
🙌🙌🙌
just put another compression on it mate?
Could of done but there just pull out of the fitting when frozen plus there pipe had been cut short I think
It is a siphon as the fill valve is the smaller plastic nut to the left!
I realised I said the wrong thing I should of said flush valve not fill valve 😂
