I’m a SAHM in Abu Dhabi, cleaning up my kitchen at 10pm at night listening to your videos with Bluetooth earphones in while I work. Thinking about starting on YT. So many ideas swirling in my head and I’ve enjoyed the info you’ve shared. I do enjoy these more human, raw videos more than faceless as well. Thanks for videos that are easy to listen to.
I do that too, have yt on as company while I clean. I hope you go for it! I changed my channel last month and have had so many ideas for videos. It’s a sign that we are on the right path! 🎉❤
My channel was stagnant for several years and a couple of weeks ago I turned the camera around and started talking. Wow! I honestly was shocked that anyone would watch or listen. I am totally uncomfortable being in front of the camera, but apparently that is what viewers are looking for. Proof is, I just watched your video to the end! Thanks for sharing it!
I'm the same I always stumble my words my first upload was 5th Jan 2025 I'm not getting many views or subscribers but as long as I just be myself I'm happy. Gave you a sub 👍
Hey thank you for the video, it is not the first I watched, and I'm actually subscribed to your channel. The only youtube education channel I subscribed. And that is because you provide a real value, instead of trying to make people buy anything. So thank you 😊 I do a cinematic vlog myself, so it's not the one you recommend, but… last week I made my first episode on public, and believe me I am pretty shy too. But, two weeks ago I was informed that my company is going to terminate my position. So when I went outside with my big camera, I said to my self, this is my job now, I'm just going my job. And it helped a lot. So maybe it will help to other people as well 😊
Hi Gareth. I appreciate your videos and your style of recording. What you did in this video is what I do on my channel. That is, walk along the beach while waxing lyrical to my iPhone. I get zero views pretty much so I literally just go for it, have fun and do me without fear of judgement or toxic comments. I’m a relatively new sub of yours. And for the record I watch your content all the way through to the end. Well done for a refreshing channel. 👏👏👏👏
So down to earth and informative. I have Blogged for years and never taken the plunge into YT. I thinks it is time to do so, this laid back style I really like. What editing program would you recommend Gareth?
I’ve done a couple of outside videos but mostly I’m looking around making sure no one sees me. 😂 For all they know you’re talking to someone on the phone.
