I have been extremely strict carnivore for 2 years now. My husband for 18 months and my 12 year old daughter also for 18 months. We live an amazing family life. I cured my ulcerated colitis, dreadful menopause symptoms and brain fog. My husband has reversed his diabetes and quite frankly has save his life. My 12 year old daughter is the only person in her class with stable mood, bright brain, clear skin and a super boosted immune system. Everyone was ill n her class with some dreadful virus going around the class- two girls were actually hospitalised. My daughter never missed a day of school and was A1 health all the way thought he school year. Carnivore diet for all.

Wow, great results. Im 63, carnivore 12months. Cured every chronic illness I had and lost 75lbs. My daughter followed me and when her first baby was born, put her on Carnivore solids from 4mths. Daisy took to it instinctively and enthusiastically. Her growth and development was literally off the charts. She walked at 8mths, runs at one. At one she looks and moves like a two year old. She shrugs off illness quickly, her mind is calm and sharp. I had to wait till 63 to understand, she gets the benefits from near birth. Good luck to you.

That is such wonderful news. Hubby joined me but my girl, 17, is SO stubborn. I can see why she doesn't feel good, why she is sluggish, tired, hungry...but she won't listen. She is hooked on eggs tho so I've been offering to make them for her a lot, but I "forget" to make her toast with butter n jelly. Lol. I know she is too lazy to make the toast.😅😅😅And she doesn't even want it after eating her eggs. And she is always up for a butter pat, but she has never been a big meat eater.

Was severely depressed, my brain was not functioning well, I was s.u1c1d.4l, thinking of ending it, could not bare the pain and crazy thinking anymore. Everything changed eating meat, and now I am trying the lion diet, I was on meat fish and fruits, but fruits are like drugs to me, cant get enough, hungry all the time. Now I am on my 10th day of red meat, water and regional salt flower. I have passed the worst of sugar cravings, feelig better now, feeling like I am becoming human and a man again. Carnivore has healed so much for me! I started off carnivore in hopes to reverse my fibrocystic breast masses that have built up over 6 years eating half a dry skinless chicken breast piece a day with half cup of broccoli and little bit of wheat noodles. We are told don’t eat very much meat- so the world is almost vegan just about. I would eat red canbbage too- cooked it and ate cabbage about 3 times a week. That was about it. So I was mainly chicken, broccoli, and little wheat noodles. So from age 40-46 I started getting all that “aging” health issue mess- and the fibrocystic breast “disease” started and kept building up! When I hit age 46 I was done with it! The fibrocystic masses were getting me scares- and I started getting huge painful breast cysts too! One was around 2” long and 1” wide! Docs would say, “we don’t know what causes fibrocystic breasts disease” and “fibrocystic breasts is now normal because everyone is getting it” and “fibrocystic breast could turn into cancer” and “there is nothing you can do for fibrocystic breasts” and “diet doesn’t cause fibrocystic breasts!” I was gaining weight too and by summer of 2022 I hit perimenopause at age 46 and got every symptom you could think of. My joints were hurting too, no sleep at night, dizzy at times, it was ridiculous! I know it had to be diet! Little did I know that all the other health issues I had all my life, in addition to this mess listed above, was all due to diet!
I went searching online and found the truth of my fibrocystic problem! Found out cruciferous veggies (broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower, brussel sprouts, and asparagus) are all cruciferous veggies that block natural iodine absorption found in foods! And if you become depleted in iodine it messes up your thyroid which controls all- even hormones! And all organs need iodine including breasts! They swell if you are deficient! And I read these cruciferous veggies can cause cancer due to lack of iodine in body since they block absorption! Bingo! We are all being told to eat cruciferous veggies, that they can prevent cancer, and to eat lots of it including broccoli!! But in fact they are causing cancer and I truly feel it is causing all the fibrocystic breast cases that have been escalating lately that we are seeing! When I post about this and ladies write back saying they too had fibrocystic breasts, I ask, “do you eat cruciferous veggies, especially broccoli” and they all have said, “YES!”
I did more research and found carnivore! I Jumped right in! In 6-8 weeks I lost 45 pounds! My perimenopause reversed! In fact don’t even get PMS symptoms and my cycle is perfectly paced! And so much more reversed that I started writing it down! And yes, my fibrocystic breast masses shrank!
I share my progress because I want people to see how carnivore can heal so much and most of these things are commonly healed for many, not just me! I want to help and this is how I do- by sharing. No I am not paid to do this, I just want to help people see and be aware of what carnivore can do!
I do update this list as I have been on carnivore (more lion diet version) for 1 year and 9 months now. I feel this has helped so many decide if they should try carnivore. I always say go watch Dr. Baker, Dr. Chaffee, and Dr. Berry- my three most favorite doctors. They are truly amazing! I call them my carnivore doctors! ☺️
    * No more perimenopause- completely reversed!
*Period cycles all timed perfect with 4 week intervals. And no PMS symptoms, but only the actual menstrual cycle itself!
    *No more night sweats
*No more waking every 2 hours at night!
*It used to take me 20 minutes or longer to fall asleep at night when I would first go to bed at night- before carnivore. Now it takes like a minute or less. Haven’t noticed since I am out fast!
    *No more life long eczema
*No more cold hands (may have been Reynold’s disease, never diagnosed.)
*No more cold body temp in general! Used to feel like a reptile - only warm in texas sun. (may have been Raynaud’s disease, never diagnosed.)
*No more IBS symptoms (gas, bloating, stomach pain, constipation, diarrhea)
*No more feeling low energy by 12pm and zombie by 4pm
*No more purple looking hands in winter (may have been Raynaud’s disease, never diagnosed.)
    *No more brain fog
*No more arthritis that I felt in hands, knees, and hips- or elbows
*used to have sore hips when sleeping on my side. No more!
*Lost 45+ pounds from former baby weight and peri menopause weight.
*Always had 20/20 vision with slight stigmatism- but in March doctor said my stigmatism is reversing!
*Don’t sunburn as easily anymore and tan well.
*Wrinkles around eyes seem to be much less. I am 47 and look like I am in early 30’s.
*Gums look super healthy. Dentist seems irritated as my teeth are not dirty when cleaning every six months. Think they know they won’t make money off me.
*No more sore chest from monthly periods- no swelling feeling of fullness or discomfort that prevented me from sleeping on my stomach. Now I sleep every night on my stomach!
*Fibrocystic Breast issues reversing! Almost all gone after 6 years of buildup!
*no cravings unless they are for meat
*no more angina symptoms before a period- which started about 3 years ago.
*No more feeling weak like almost passing out and dizzy around ovulation and periods when walking around.
    * no more fingers swelling- that started a few years ago- rings kept being tight- is pattern I noticed. One ring I had resized larger and it’s super loose now. Will have to resize smaller.
*feel stronger- now lifting barbells not just hands weights. Dr. Baker said since I am 46, and 5’7” at 122lbs- need more resistance training to add more muscle weight. . So bought a 47lb barbell off Amazon and have 90 extra pounds added to it. Will continue to progress with that.
*Before carnivore- i had started growing grey hairs in one of my eyebrows, few hairs at a time, but no grey in my blonde hair yet - but assumed it was coming. Now on carnivore I have had no new grey hairs growing in eye brows and still no grey hair in my natural blonde hair. And in the sun it gets super light highlights.
    * no more body odor!
    * I used to get a little anxiety with large crowds- like if attending special events- but since on carnivore I don’t get it that much.
*I was a bit OCD before carnivore, but so much more relaxed so barely like that.
    * I was a relaxed person before, but somehow am even more relaxed and never stress about things.
*Since I was a young child my sense of smell has been terrible. But not even a month in on carnivore my sense of smell has gone crazy! I smell things even far away! Amazing!
*no more allergies! I was allergic to cedar and oak pollens- and mold- but since carnivore I am no longer reacting to those outdoor pollens which is amazing!
    * I have had no more issues from ear wax build up. Had it twice after having kids and docs would say it was a hormonal problem. Carnivore cured that too!
*Veins in my arms look healthier. They were almost invisible before.
*Legs no longer hurt on longer road trips or plane rides!
*I used to get a popping sounds in my right shoulder when lifting weights. Was probably a pulled ligament. That is now gone!
*I have been lactose intolerant since I was a kid, and I feel my nails are a bit stronger than before. They do break if I catch them on things but I feel they are getting stronger on carnivore.
*My teeth look more white on carnivore.
*My blood pressure has improved on carnivore. 6 years before carnivore up to starting carnivore my blood pressure was increasing. Now on carnivore it is back to normal like when I was younger. Last reading it was 100/75 which is awesome!
*i used to get eye twitches in my eye lids, but that is gone.
    * at times when trying to fall asleep I would close my eyes and at times felt dizzy like falling feeling or spinning. But haven’t has that since I have been on carnivore for 12 months.
*the skin on the heals of my feet are no longer cracked and dry!
*little leak from sneezing or coughing that ladies get from estrogen dominance is gone on carnivore! Hormones balanced so no more estrogen dominance!
*The top inner corner of both my larger toes have felt a little numb for years. Never had it diagnosed. But being 1 year on carnivore I no longer feel that numbness! My nerves have healed in that spot on both toes! Crazy!
*My slightly receding gums behind my center bottom front teeth have rebuilt so gums all over are super healthy! I have flossed daily for years, but gums look even healthier!
*my skin on my face isn’t as oily as it used to be.
*My hair used to be super oily if not washed daily, but carnivore has regulated my hair so I can now go days without having to wash it- doesn’t get oily after one day like before! (Newest update added!)
Want to mention if you start to get any allergy symptoms further into carnivore you may have histamine intolerance. Happened to me if I ate smoked meats daily for months straight. Went back to baking my meats and all the symptoms went away! Look into histamine intolerance when starting carnivore to make sure you know symptoms and not to eat smoked aged meats daily like I did if you get symptoms. Eat smoked meats less often.
I do go outside daily for at least an hour a day during week and several hours on weekends if possible! I try to stay on consistent sleeping schedule of 6-8 hours of sleep and sleep like a bear!☺️
So there you go! ☺️ I hope this helps people on their journey to fins out what works for them! Carnivore is working for everyone that tries. Go watch Dr. Baker, Dr. Chaffee, and Dr. Berry! And go visit Kerry’s channel at Homesteadhow! We love him too! ☺️

I'm a 42 year old male, diagnosed with diabetes at the age of 34 and haven't been able to get rid of it. Was always thin and got even thinner from the illness. I'm trying to just eat meat now, started on May 28th so it's been 2 weeks today. Noticed my blood sugar levels are easier to manage, sometimes they've dropped way too low, in the 40s, a couple of times so I did eat a banana at those times to bring it up and so I've been adjusting the amounts of insulin I take to less than half of what it was before so that's good. Immediate takeaways, I'm eating around 1.5 pounds of meat per day currently, my energy levels are better than before and I've noticed that alot of the pain in my lower back as well as some nerve pain in my legs has gone away. Looking forward to what else this diet brings. Still trying different types of meat to see what I can handle but thanks Dr for making your videos

In regards to addiction and carnivore, I used to be a heavy drinker. To the point I didn't keep any at home because I would drink it all. Quickly 😂
On keto, I lost about 80% of any alcohol cravings. On carnivore, it's completely gone. In fact, I was given a bottle of whiskey for Christmas, my favorite. It's still sitting there.

One of the benifits of carnivore is how good you begin to feel.. It doesnt happen in the first 2 or 3 days.. but it does start to happen probably in the first week for most people. It gets better from there. Waking up in the morning feeling good and like you actually slept well/better.. is a game changer for the rest of your day. Going from an (incorrect) American Standard Diet.. is likely a process for most people.. and that's OK.. Sugar-Carb addiction is very difficult thing to kick as we're RAISED on sugar/high carb foods almost from day one. Understand that this is/was done purposefully by those who stand to make billions and billion and billions off of your "poor health", from those garbage foods. THEY KNEW/THEY KNOW .... We're of no use or value to them if we're all healthy.

This episode is amazing! I thoroughly enjoy Dr Chafee's scientific explanations on how our bodies absorb certain nutrients. The biggest obstacle that I encounter when discussing my carnivore lifestyle is people being so preconditioned to what is widely parroted out there from 60+ years ago, "eat fresh fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and watch your red meat intake." It really is laughable, but I don't push my choices on others if there is no interest. I have learned that doctors are not nutritionist. They are more like a auto body repair shop, they prefer to attempt to fix rather than prevent.

She brings up broccoli so I have to post this- I agree that natural iodine is depleted from our soils, but I firmly believe that this push of humans consume large quantities of cruciferous veggies is really harming human health and has drastically caused this excessive high rate of iodine deficiencies! Everyone is told eat lots of cruciferous veggies (broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage, asparagus, brussel sprouts to name common ones- but google cruciferous veggies as there are at least 30 of them), but cruciferous veggies block the absorption of natural iodine found in foods! Everyone is told cruciferous veggies prevent cancer, but that is NOT true! Every time I ask people who have any form of cancer, fibrocystic breast masses, polyps on their gender internal organs, cysts on their internal gender organs, PCOS, hormones issues, nodules on thyroids, I ask them, “do you eat cruciferous veggies” and they all say “YES!” I have done this so many times in comment sections with carnivore interviews and they all say yes!
Cruciferous veggies should be banned or have a large warning label on them that they damage the thyroid, cause cancer, and all the other issues listed above!
Before I switched to carnivore, I ate broccoli daily for 6 years with half a chicken skinless breast, and a little of whole wheat noodles. In those 6 years I had a build up of fibrocystic masses in my chest. Then I started getting huge very painful cysts with one as large as 2” x 1”, and many smaller ones around 1”x1”. I became fed up with docs saying about breast cysts and fibrocystic breast masses , “it is normal,” “nothing you can do,” “we don’t know why it happens,” “diet does not cause it,” “it can turn into cancer,” “it is a disease that may not turn into cancer,” “you can’t reverse it,” “eat more plants,” “saturated fats makes it worse,”. ALL NOT true!
I started researching on my own and found out fibrocystic breast masses swell and occur due to seeking for natural iodine in the body. All organs need it! Cruciferous veggies block absorption of iodine!! Saturated fats are VERY GOOD for the human body and helps heal all on carnivore diet and avoid plants! I jumped right into carnivore with zero plants and sure enough my fibrocystic masses started shrinking. I added a drop of Lugal’s iodine 2% or 5% to a glass of water at the start to help build up my iodine deficiency as well.
I am now 1 year 6 months into carnivore and all my cysts have been gone, and I barely have any fibrocystic masses anymore. All shrank and almost all gone. Everyone that replies to me saying they had fibrocystic breast issues they all said they ate cruciferous veggies too because we are told to by docs!!! But the fact that people with any cancer also have been eating cruciferous veggies isn’t good and red flag that cruciferous veggies are causing all this due to blocking iodine!
And broccoli alone has over 100 natural toxins in it alone, besides it blocking iodine! Avoid! Avoid all plants to be honest!
Look up cruciferous veggies as there are at least 30 of them! Google it to see!
Stay away from cruciferous veggies! Docs, please stop telling people they are good for us! That’s my rant on that topic! Say “no” to cruciferous veggies! Go carnivore! I am carnivore for life!

For the last month I've been doing a half-marathon distance or more run once a week without anything during the run. I have a 50k coming up towards the end of the year and I'm looking to do it without any food and as little water as possible. I also always fast for at least 24 hours before I run a marathon. As you mentioned in the video I believe that helps me get through the wall before I even start the marathon.

I have said this before, but the era of relative truth ("my truth/my lived experience/what works for you may not work for me...") has done WAY more harm than good. Not only has it turned the western world into hundreds of millions of narcissists, but it screws up things that are not up for debate; like basic biology.
When we are talking about personalities, preferences, and interests? Sure, people are as varied as there are stars in the galaxy. But when talking about biological systems - cardiovascular and circulatory system, lymphatic system, skeletomuscular system, nervous system, cell structure and organelles - we are more the same than we are different. These aren't varied. They function and respond mostly the same way to all things.
Carnivore works because it's what we are supposed to eat to function optimally. Period. The longer you have eaten garbage and plants, the longer it will take your body to adjust, but it WILL adjust. No matter who you are, no matter your ailments, your body and your mind will be better off as a carnivore.

It doesn't have to be steak, all meat is very nutritious, just make sure you are getting enough fat. Quarter pounder patties from McDonald's are good in a pinch when traveling or out and about, but much cheaper with less potential additives if you just cook up some ground beef patties yourself. Just do what works best for you!

Please, Allow me to ask a couple of question about the Carnivore diet .(Sorry if i already posted before but i dont know what to do) :
I am now over 200 days into a Strick Carnivore diet (I only eat meat and eggs. Nothing else but 500-600g of COCKED meat plus 7-8 eggs in a day. All Divided in 2 meals) I am now 35 years old, 181cms tall, 180lbs(+-81,5kg) at +-22%BF. I go to the gym 2-3 times a week.(lift weigths to help sustain or increase muscle mass and assist fat loss- HIT Workouts)
I started the Carnivore diet to improve my body composition. I was a HEALHTY guy with NO chronic illnesses or health problems.
I lost about 17 lbs(8kg) in the first 9 weeks (Mostly water) but since then I haven't been able to change my body composition. I have now gone more than 8 weeks without registering any body changes (weight loss, decrease in BF% or measurements like waist, legs, arms and neck ).In fact i have gained 2,5 lbs(1KG between weeks 10-12, but it might be just water.
I still need to lose at least another 15lbs of fat to reach my goal of being below 15%BF. However, I don't see how the Carnivora Diet will facilitate this process. I have not experienced most of the benefits common to Carnivores (Improved sleep, more energy/disposition, etc.) nor have I changed my body composition significantly
I am now over 12 weeks with no body fat lost.
So I would like to ask a few question about the Carnivore diet:
1- How long should I extend my experience with the Carnivore diet to be able to lose the excess bodyfat I still have?(at least 15lbs of fat)
2- What is the minimum time you should maintain a Carnivora diet when it is not working for you?(how many weeks or months)
3-Is the Carnivore diet effective for those who are aldreay healthy and just need to improve body composition?
I am affraid this way of eating is too restrictive, for a healthy person, with no aditional benefit from any other whole food diet.
PS: Most of my time as a Carnivore i have not experience most Carnivore benefits or lost any body fat.
Also, Sorry for any grammar mistake, i am Brazilian and english is not my first language.
    Thank you for your attention!.

To reduce body fat you need to eat more fat. Fat is the fuel, as were carbohydrates/sugar. Those who eat too much protein will gain more fat. Now, I don't know why you want to reduce fat in your body to that level when optimal is 17-20% for males. It's counter indicated to go to those levels just for design/appearance.
But, if this is your goal, no matter the reason, you should fast at least 1 day/week, 2 being optimal( wednesday and Friday, or only friday), no matter of you training or not. HIIT training should be only sprints and maximum 2 days/week.

Like many doctors, psychologists aren't trained in the basic principles of humans either (i.e. the basic principles of how we see and form our reality). it's rampant in the world that we try and make up reasons for things, but never really get to the core of what works.
We are at our core carnivores and have three basic psychological principles from which we live -period-.

First I am not a carnivore, but I eat a lot of meat. I have a veggie patch in my back yard and I grow my veggies in a diversed spread out planting method. When I harvest I take care of wind direction. When a giraffe eats on a tree it eats for a bit and then moves up wind to the next tree. The giraffe tastes when the tree releases tannin and oxilates so moves on. Growing trees and veggies "talk" to one another by releasing these compounds by means of the wind. So when I harvest, as I said, I watch the wind direction and harvest in a spread out diverse way, then I give the plants time to recover ( at least 24 hours). This gives me healthy veggies, tannin and oxilate free. Farmers are in it for the money and most do not care about nature.

When I was in the army, I was stationed in Colorado, so I was running at altitude. I ran fasted normally. I'm not a speedy runner by any stretch of the imagination but I usually passed the test. Anyway I was sent to TX for sergeant school and someone insisted that I eat a carbohydrate gel.. It was my worst run EVER. I had cramps the entire run and I felt like I was breathing soup. At sea level the run should have been easier. The next time anyone offered me a banana or gel I declined. That stuff is awful. I honestly think that people feel like they need it because someone told them it will help their run/energy. So it's basically a mental thing and if they actually listened to their bodies they would realize those things are not helpful.

I believe she loves complaining about headaches, feeling tired, joint pain, etc. She saw my transformation over the past two years, yet she doesn’t want it for herself. I told her once during an argument ,where she was talking crap about my carnivore diet, that if she wants to continue feeling like crap then she needs to suffer in silence.

I just listened to my body and did what I could. I am 6 months carnivore and feeling better everyday. More energy and waking up early in the morning now where before even if I slept 12 hours it was never enough. I am getting tired earlier in the evening...used to be a night owl...but I think I am on a regular sleep cycle. Still dealing with stiff body/muscles that comes with fibro...might try a 30 day experiment and cut out coffee. Above all else try not to start the meds they won't cure anything

On a ketogenice diet, the only issue was that my LDL went up from 4 to 6.4 (UK figures). I previously had a mild diffuse fatty liver for many years. My doctor wanted to refer me to a lipid specialist and put me on statins. I refused and told the GP, that I had so many major improvements in my weight and health. When clearing a fatty liver, surely it is no suprise that the LDL blood levels raise. Does anybody know how long it takes to resolve the high LDL? Advice please.
