I texturized my hair about 2 months ago using Olive oil texturizer and I don't regret it because my hair was so rough/ hard and I despised wash days. My hair is so manageable now and doesn't shrink as much. I'm never going back!

No you may do it twice a year or once a year depending on how soft you want your hair to be.. for me I think I’m alright for now if my situation changes I would touch up
