"Any man who sells his soul for love, has got the power to change the world" has got to be one of the most ridiculous lines I've ever heard in a movie. Kind of sums up this movie in that one quote 😅
@@christopherg9460 Wtf are you on about. Yes I watch plenty movies, does that make me worthy now? No I don't watch any, does that make me less worthy. World is full of fools like yourself.

I miss Marvel movies like this. Genuine plot, characters were naturally cool without even trying. Compare ghost rider to Captain Marvel in MCU. It's like Yin and Yang, two opposite ends of the spectrum. Captain Marvel is violent, extroverted, insane, tyrannical, a terrorist masked as a hero. Whilst Ghost Rider punishes evil, only violent when necessary, protects the helpless, a true hero masked as a dark entity.
Imagine all four Ghost Riders all riding together. Carter Slade on the left, Johnny Blaze and Danny Ketch in the middle, and Robbie Reyes on the right. Just riding along in the night to kick some unholy ass.
Probably my favorite scene in the movie. The visual contrast between the Hellfire and the darkness of the night alone is pretty cool. I'd say that this is also one of the reasons why the first movie was better than the second, seeing as a lot of the action in the second happened during daytime. And when Cage said: "Lets' ride!" it's a reminder of what bikers and Old West Rangers had in common: the fun of long distance traveling.
It’s 2022 and this stilllll gives me nostalgia and all around goosebumps. Knowing that Nick Cage may dawn the ghost rider character for doctor strange multiverse of madness makes this so much better as well
Lots fans including myself were disappointed that we didn't get to see Slade in action after that epic ride. However, I believe it did serve a purpose assuming that Johnny probably didn't know where the town was or it would have taken him a lot longer to find it. So therefore Slade rode one last time to take him there.
Should've had Slade starting to extinguish during the ride, to show that he was burning his last energy to lead Cage to the destination. Before the ride have Cage explain the path he is planning on taking (i.e following the interstate and using a rough guide of his evil-meter), and Slade points out that route Cage just listed will slow Cage down so Cage arrives after dawn. Cage states that he doesn't know the terrain well enough to do a direct route easily, and Slade volunteers to lead him.
I always had the theory that only certain types of individuals could get to San Venganza. Blackheart is a demon so that's how he brought Roxanne, and in this case Carter Slade and Johnny Blaze are still humans so they need to be in Ghost Rider form to get there, which would be why Carter disappears when he leaves as a human. San Venganza could be a city trapped in another dimension. Either that, or Carter was simply a ghost all along, which I could also see being true since we only see him on the holy ground of the graveyard and only leave it when he's in the Ghost Rider form. Maybe Mephisto took his soul away once he left in human form, where only the spirit of vengeance would shield him from that fate. Lots of theories could be thrown at this if you watch only the Carter Slade scenes.
@@radrno7 - I think that last ride was all he had left in him, given the 500 mile ride and their going at top speed, and he felt his power diminishing, maybe to the point he knew he wouldn't have enough to sustain him in the fight to come, and so the last thing he could do was give Johnny the shotgun, before riding off, and therefore passing on the mantle.
@@toddkes5890I think that’s what they were meaning to do with slades horses trail , now obviously it’s not a high powered bike so it’s not gonna flame shit up like johnnys does but johnnys trail burns bright meanwhile slades has steps of fire .. not a straight trail , at least when I jus watched it back that’s kinda how I saw it , if slade was fully powered in his prime im guessing his horses trail would’ve been lit a fire like johnnys rather then look like there’s barely a ghost rider trail , again could jus be the fact he rides a horse but he keeps up with Johnnys bike so I have no clue .
What I love about Johnny Blaze is his deal was with love. He didn't want power to rule the world, He wanted to save his father from cancer. That's why he's my favorite ghost rider.
I admire Slade He did something wrong and tried his damndest to fix it Then when his time finally caught up with him He didn’t complain, cry, or be enraged for atonement He put his hat on straight and rode toward it
Remember in the beginning of the movie the devil asked Carter Slade for the contract, Instead he took the contract & ride off with it with his Ghost Rider horse.

@@drakennightshadedraconis1953 Only way to be forgiven is to acknowledge your sins and seek redemption from our Lord Jesus Christ. The Bible literally says it..
Theres a western from1999 from TNT called Purgatory where the marginally good after dying get a 2nd chance to live 10 years among temptations they had in life and if they can go without giving in the Allmighty brings them home, if not, well... A group of robbers w/ a green kid Sonny hit a bank shipment and find themselves in this town and he's the only one to stan up to the gang, despite four of the townfolk being Bill Hickcock, Jesse James, Billy the Kid, and Doc Holiday. At the end they do what they did best and the Maker lets them in. Chokes me up everytime, this scene reminds me of Purgatory
In the comics, the deed that Carter Slade committed that got him sentenced to be a Ghost Rider was passing his mantle on to his brother Lincoln Slade. (Side note: The comics version is a regular ghost, not a spirit of vengeance like the modern Ghost Rider, and in fact goes by "Phantom Rider," though the character was called "Ghost Rider" in the comics before the Johnny Blaze character was created. He was briefly "Night Rider" before someone pointed out that KKK members during Reconstruction called themselves Night Riders, wore white, and used fear as a weapon . . . so the name thankfully got changed.) Lincoln went crazy, fully embracing the idea that he was a supernatural being beyond human rules, eventually drugging and raping a woman, who later allows him to fall to his death after she recovers from the drug and they fight. Lincoln possesses his descendant Hamilton Slade and tries to fulfill what he sees as his destiny himself by giving ghost-like powers (becoming immaterial, shooting ectoplasmic bullets that chill the soul from ghostly six-shooters, etc.) to Hamilton. However, when he encounters Hawkeye's wife Mockingbird (the woman he had drugged and raped during a time-travelling adventure she had with the Avengers), Lincoln fully takes over and tries to kill her, trying to exact vengeance for what he misremembered as his murder at her hands. This event is sufficient to call Carter Slade's spirit back from the afterlife, causing him to possess Hamilton as well, where the two Phantom Riders battle, one trying to dominate the living body to further his delusions, the other trying to redeem his legacy and save his descendants' souls from being further stained by harming innocents. So I could see the comics version of Phantom Rider wanting to help someone like Johnny Blaze, who'd sold his soul to save his father's life. It seems like it might appeal to someone who'd torn himself out of Heaven to try to save his brother's soul. He does finally redeem himself (somewhat) by realizing/remembering what he'd actually done (accepting responsibility), begging her forgiveness (showing contrition and repentance), and gifting his powers to his descendant, absent his possession (showing a desire to make amends and a willingness to move on and face judgement/consequences). So the comics version really doesn't get quite the same sort of redemption arc this version does (his regrets are over what his successor did in his name more than his own actions). And he really only shares the name with Johnny Blaze's Ghost Rider.
As long you have THE SPIRIT you will prevail. Looking tonight thru old country songs, etc, the kept me going in tough times 14 years ago.... Fixed everything, but if WAS a fight.

This, is honestly, one of my favorite Marvel scenes. Definitely in my top 5. This is including the current MCU movies we have now. I loved the GhostRider comics in the 90’s
I had many issues with the Ghost Rider movies. That being sad, just thanks to this scene, I am glad they still happened anyway. If only the rest of the movies where just half as good as this scene was...
The theme song of the Ghost Rider is what made me love this movie so much. This movie is what made Nicolas Cage my idol and Carter Slade as well. I fell in love with this movie since 2012 and it has been the most memorable movie I’ve watched. It is also the movie that made me fall in love with cowboys because they’re just the most badass legends. It will always be the best movie in my heart. It’s just that this movie is so underrated.
(Possibly) for the next Ghost Rider movie, I'd like to see all the Ghost Riders (except for Slade/Phantom Rider/Ghost Rider obviously) battling more demons, that'll be epic
This is scary. I was watching the Ghost Rider movie on my PC and had turned off my internet connection. Rewinded to see this particular scene 3 to 4 times. After I opened RUclips on my smartphone, this video showed up in the recommended section.
“Any man that’s got the guts to sell his soul for love... has the power to change the world. You didn’t do it for greed. You did it for the right reason.” Imagine if George lucas added a scene like this between luke and Vader in the original Star Wars trilogy.
I love Carter Slade. I really wish they would make a movie about how he started out as a ghost rider. I love the sylistic choices they made for the flames of his hair, having them trail behind him like that because he has longer hair.
"Any man that's got the guts to sell his soul for love has got the power to change the world. You didn't do it for greed, you did it for the right reason. Maybe that puts God on your side. To them that makes you dangerous, makes you unpredictable. That's the best thing you can be right now." "This is the end of the trail for me. My pops took me to this movie when I was a kid and we loved it!!! Especially this scene. So bad ass. It's not a great movie but it still has a place in my heart.
a decade later and still this scene gives me goosebumps
💯💯💯
This, is honestly, one of my favorite Marvel scenes. Definitely in my top 5. This is including the current MCU movies we have now. I loved the GhostRider comics in the 90’s
This is one of the best scenes of the entire GhostRider franchise.
Blaze:" can you keep up?"the horse:" CAN YOU!"
I had many issues with the Ghost Rider movies. That being sad, just thanks to this scene, I am glad they still happened anyway. If only the rest of the movies where just half as good as this scene was...

This is still better than Spirit of Vengeance.
Johny: Can You keep up??
Slade: Can You boy???
Johny: I am trying to....😰🥴
The theme song of the Ghost Rider is what made me love this movie so much.
Sam Elliot, one of the last real cowboys in the world who can play someone else while stilling giving off a cowboy vibe
The way the horse comes out of the mist and Johnny’s face of what the fuck gives me chills
"You didn't do it for Greed, you did it for the right reason. That puts GOD on your side" - SNM Cowboy!!!
R.I.P Carter Slade
(Possibly) for the next Ghost Rider movie, I'd like to see all the Ghost Riders (except for Slade/Phantom Rider/Ghost Rider obviously) battling more demons, that'll be epic
Ghost rider 3 the history of slade
What does this comment mean
He Fades away(Carter Slade) means he ded bruh
R.I.P random lizard.
When his horse Transforms, OOOHH BOIII
People dunk on this movie (for good reasons) but this scene is easily one of my favorites. So good.
i get goosebumps everytime i watch this movie when the horse comes out of the mist with the music >.
Johnny: “Can you keep up”?
Horse: “Wanna find out boy”?
year 2022 and still gives me goosebumps
The epicness of this Scene will never fade even after centuries
Johnny's quick transformation in this scene makes me jump EVERYTIME!
Phantom rider and Ghost rider 💀🔥🐴🏍
Sam's voice is the iconic voice of the wild wild west.
i cryed on this scene, because i love this scene so much
This movie never gets old I can watch it over and over again
Plot twist: Carter Slade is actually General Ross, who became a Ghost Rider in order to kill the Hulk
This is scary. I was watching the Ghost Rider movie on my PC and had turned off my internet connection. Rewinded to see this particular scene 3 to 4 times. After I opened RUclips on my smartphone, this video showed up in the recommended section.
Even as a 5 year old, I always thought The Horse was Graceful but Fierce Better than a motorcycle, more majestic as it Rides With the Heat
The ride moment was a historic scene never gonna forget it
“Any man that’s got the guts to sell his soul for love... has the power to change the world. You didn’t do it for greed. You did it for the right reason.” Imagine if George lucas added a scene like this between luke and Vader in the original Star Wars trilogy.
Maybe it's just me but that's got to be probably one of the most awesome scenes in film history...
This goes from badass, to epic, to God tier badassery and then beyond....
What a manly scene...epic voice ..epic music 🔥 3.02...
This movie isn’t THAT bad but this has got to be the best part in the whole movie.
The entire movie is good. Then they made Spirit Of Vengence and I drank bleach on that day
I love Carter Slade. I really wish they would make a movie about how he started out as a ghost rider.
I love the sylistic choices they made for the flames of his hair, having them trail behind him like that because he has longer hair.
This gives me so much chills his speech is just powerful and amazing
An awsome movie.. want more like this
This is the most Legendary movie scene of my Childhood
We want Carter Slade solo movie, that horse is dope af.
Prefer this carter slade than the comics he actually has ghostriders power
That flaming horse was awesome this was the best part of this movie
Carter Slade gives a new meaning to Horsepower 😌
Can you imagine Carter Slade as the ghost rider in western times, i'd love a series like that.
I got nothing left, I could only change one more time and I was saving it for this. God knows I made my share of mistakes. I've been trying to make them right ever since. All I can do is hope he sees fit to give me a second chance." Carter Slade is both Arthur Morgan, John Marston and Landon Ricketts combined all together!
That's an awesome line to me from JB that is "He may have my soul but he doesn't have my spirit"
Sam elliot is just such a pure badass
12 years since this movie and Sam Elliott still looking good for his age.
I wish they could add this on red dead! great video.
To me as James The Rattlesnake, "Carter Slade, I will tip my hat to you, one legend to another."
I didn't know General Ross was Carter Slade lol
shhh, it's a marvel secret xD
Different actors lol
@@patrickmacasaet3493 The General Ross from the Eric Bana's Hulk was Sam Elliott
I actually didn’t know that
He's actually not quiet match with Ross' character tbh 😅
I could listen to Sam Elliot read tax code and still find it relaxing & enjoyable.
0:32 - “Any man who got the guts to sell his soul for love, got the power to change the world.”
This may have been a silly movie, but i will never forget how awesome this scene was
Ladies end gentlemen..Sam Elliott a living LEGEND
Powerful scene and good words from carter slade
Definition of badass
Me: Johnny blaze and carter slade two ass kicking ghost riders riding next to each other
This scene was unforgettable
This never gets old❤️
Man I miss watching ghost rider he's awesome
How can one of the worst hero films have one of the best scenes in the history of this genre? Blaze and slade together was one of the best moments of all hero movies.
Carter Slade deserve his own series
I'm just imagining how horrific and hauntingly beautiful it might have just been for the cowboys fighting and looting a store in nowhere and then they see a horse coming at them covered in fire with the user itself on fire in blue moon light. I wish we could hear more from Carter Slade.....
The ride was the coolest scene ever.
