Very nice and informative as always! I appreciate the fact that you did thorough testing on the stem. Keep riding! Greetings from Romania!

I figured when you told me about it at the bike shop that you'd have problems getting weight over the front during the climbs, but yeah getting your body more upright like a dirtbike seems like it will give you more agility over chunky stuff.

Even with a "normal" 32mm stem and a long reach you kinda have to forget the BMX reflexes, I see myself as a seesaw hanging from the BB 😅

It was expensive. After shipping from overseas it was somewhere around $350. You just have to send an email asking about it. It's not listed on the site, but you can get one directly from them. www.rulezman.com/.

@@captjerski4165 Oh, Berm Peak. He reviewed the Raised Reverse Stem about a year ago. This stem is nothing like that one. That stem has 150mm rise and was set with negative offset from the steerer.
The stem I am testing is just a shorter stem, 15mm, and the only reason it's raised is because you can't go shorter than 31mm without going up and over the top of the fork steerer tube.

It would be fun to see your impression of that reversed stem :)

@@ShadLifeI am releasing a new Gen 2 90mm Rise RR stem that would probably fit you very well. It maintains the same -15mm Reversed offset as the Gen 1 150mm rise that you saw Seth test. Seth is 5’4” and I don’t really recommend the Gen 1 150mm RR stem for riders below 5’5”. The new Gen 2 90mm RR stem fits into that area perfectly to allow riders roughly 5’6” and shorter to get proportionally the same position as a taller rider using the Gen 1 150mm RR stem.
