Good video wish all dealers would do this with their tractors I was going by specs and figured out what is says on paper is much different than actually using it. I might have tried to find a better Kubota dealer had I'd known actually what they will actually lift. My 1626 Mahindra is rated for 1560 . Thanks for sharing be safe have fun
From Australia, interesting Video thankyou. I'm wanting to buy a 300kg PTO driven wood chipper for my BX23s and I'm looking for a similar video demonstrating the lift capacity at the other end of the tractor as I suspect it would be at it's limit. Also my BX Kubota comes with the 4 in 1 pinned bucket which is heavier and smaller than the standard and I'm pretty sure mine wouldn't lift anywhere near 800lb. Thanks again.
I haven't found a BX that'll lift that much weight, lucky to lift about 500lbs with proper ballast, and that isn't to full lift height, that's only about 18" off the ground, and then the tractor isn't very stable and the loader functionality is extremely jerky to operate. My roto-tiller on a pallet is about 360lbs including the pallet, it barely manages to lift it. The biggest problem with this video is you aren't always going to have a pallet of materials right ad the back edge of the pallet, usually the material is spread out across the pallet, making your lift capacity pretty close to 200lbs or even less.
@@wildbill23c I agree, bottom line is the BX is unsafe to do any heavy lifts at height. I lifted a woodchipper on a pallet weighing 200kg ( 400lb) out from the rear of my truck and very nearly rolled the BX.
Why did the operator keep un-curling the forks as he went up? It would have lifted more weight or same weight higher if he keep it curled. The weights wouldn’t have fallen over with the pallet fork backplate.

Great video, thanks.
Glad you liked it!
would love to see the b series lift capacity

Counterbalance? Dude , he can hear you ! How rude.

Good test
The 420 on the loader = Killo's Not pounds!!! But good video none the less.
Interesting. My forks must weigh a lot more than 225#.
Operator needs a little practice, thanks for the video
Stop saying 800! Its 800 MINUS the pallet attachment "575lbs"!!!
He said that at the beginning.
I felt it was deceiving as well that they were displaying that number. I guess they did state that before every pick.
Throttle down before lowering and it won't be so jerky.
keep going to the gym and you wont need the bx lol
Find a better operator!
