1:16:00 Y’know, it’s weird, both of my dogs wanted to be closer to us when they died. The first to go nuzzled beneath my mother’s thigh as he let out his death rattle, but he was being driven home from the vet and had a heart attack so I dunno. The next to die, though? She went out of her way to be near us during her last few days. On her last day, when she was fading in and out of consciousness, she’d just nudge herself deeper into our laps and arms, and she just… let out one last big sigh and checked out in my mother’s embrace. My breed of dogs are prone to separation anxiety, so maybe that had something to do with it, but maybe it was that we were there safe spaces. It’s sad to see them go, to us, they’re a part of our lives, only here for a fraction of it. But to them? We are their lives. So, with this new dog we got, I’m making sure I give it all of the time in the world. Happy 100th episode, boys. A shame your mother violently exploded in the crematorium.
My dog of 13 years passed a week ago. She was doing the same. She would kinda lay down (she was in pain from a tumor in her leg) and then raise her head up to make sure we were still around her, she also wasn't able to walk at the time so we all just crowded around her all day to make her as comfortable as possible and gave her whatever she wanted to eat

It’s kinda funny that the podcast started off with Brian and Sam shitting on poob for random stuff and then progressed into everyone shitting on Brian.

Sam, I've been watching your stuff since I was like 12, I'm 25 now and you've brought me countless hours of hysterical laughter and entertainment, and still do. Congrats for 100 episodes Sam!!! I’ve been around since day 1 of the podcast, and you’ve been a constant in my life since I was in early highschool. I was a close minded, insecure, stupid little highschooler with no friends when I began listening. Since then, I’ve descovered who I want to be, found someone to have a happy and stable relationship with, moved across the country on my own, working a decent paying job, and I’ve managed to save enough to buy my dream car. All I can say is is thank you for continuing to make these, I’ve always been super excited to listen when I get the notification. I feel like this podcast has cemented itself as a minor piece of me growing up into adulthood, and as stupid as that may sound, it’s true, and it’s helped me through getting through the worst parts of my life as of posting this comment. Thanks Sam!
The greatest visual gag being brought up for what I would assume over 60+ episodes, isn’t even being done on the said gag episode. Truly a Masterclass of Podcast. Cheers boys, here’s to 100 more.
There is something endearing and heartening about hearing Sam (the general) share what he is going through. Similar feeling to watching his shows with his brother. I guess it’s because Sam and I have similar backgrounds/families in similar parts of the world, and we’re going through the same phase of life. It’s just relatable. And I’m glad he is handling it well and has support. Lots of weight to end up being the pillar of the family as the previous generation passes the baton, yeah?
Grats on the hundo, an absent brian is the perfect way to celebrate. Thanks for all the mammaries. Impatiently anticipating hundreds more. Mom stuff is tough, I feel for ya Sam-O I lost my moms some years back, just under a week after my 30th bday. Everybody dreads the day they say bye to their parents, its a day that seems long in the distance and it used to anger me that it had arrived so early, but as I looked around to see a number of my friends experiencing that same day far before its due I found a sort of peace in the chaos and uncertainties. Take your time, do what Brock Samson says about "fear is the mind killer" or whatever.
I had a dream that General Sam came over to my house ate my food drank my drinks and sat at the couch watching tv. He was very cordial, i told him i had to go to work and that he was free to stay but he immediately got up dumping the bowl of chips from his lap and said, "nope im good," and then he left. He said it in such a passive aggressive way, i was so upset. Why Sam why?
In reference to why the older dogs get lumpy, a lot of dogs as they age will get Simple Lipomas (fatty tumors) - which are overall harmless and usually develop on the chest or abdomen, though can form anywhere beneath the skin. All that really needs to be done, more often than not, is to just watch them and make sure that they don't continue growing or to make sure that they're not causing your dog discomfort, especially if they're Infiltrative (locally aggressive and can spread to surrounding tissues) instead of Simple.

Most people don't get the Blade prosthetics because they are not covered by insurance. You "need" a prosthetic to walk, but "wanting" to run is not covered by insurance
Honestly, this episode had some of bryans best moments. Also, Poob, the proper tip amount is whatever you want to tip. Not your job to pay their wage. If its $5 or $50, doesn't matter. I personally think a good tip is to get a better paying job if you rely on tips so much. Itve been on both sides. I had a job once that paid $4.50 an hour and got tips on the side. Some people gave me $1 and some gave me $50. Idc how much you tip, I'm the one that chose that job.
Hearing the Dave Chappelle thing made me something, the reason he doesn't allow phones is so someone can't record him making a joke that wouldn't fly in other places on the tour. Example being, when he came over to Australia for the first time in 9 years a few months back, I was planning to hate his show (but my friend got me 100+ tickets, may as well right?) but it was quite the opposite. reason being unlike America, Australia is by far a more liberal country, even our right wingers are called liberals. Frankly those jokes probably wouldn't land very well so he didn't make any, but somewhere like Republican led Indiana would be a prime spot for trans jokes, he could then leave the jokes out of somewhere like San Fran, after all if no one records his acts he can play "both sides" of the political aisle. Love him or hate him, you can't deny that is a smart move.
