I use one of these too, after swallowing the expense of it and the Futaba Receivers... Wondering if you've encountered the same issue as I have; I must have around 30 models now bound to it, and when I'm choosing to use whichever car I like, the receiver never shows green, it's red. As if it's not bound, or the Tx has forgotten it. What I've found I have to do is go into the settings menu (switch all the way down), then select the receiver menu and then come back out of it again, as if it's reminded the Tx what receiver is programmed with it for that car (I'm using Futaba R304sb receivers in all cars). When I switch the Tx back to on, and then switch the car on, the Rx then shows green. This happens every time I use it, not sure why?? You ever heard of that?
Hi there interesting question. I do feel like I have had some connection issues that I might have dismissed as my own mistakes. In looking for an answer, I took a look this morning to see what recievers I am using and how many models paired etc etc.
I have 7 models paired and a range of recievers. When I flicked through the models on the remote, I noticed one has not got an ID number.
I'm going to record a video based on your question and hopefully find some more information. Please stay tuned.
Hi Craggle RC I have made a video to share my investigation ruclips.net/video/WDy5zuwnHms/видео.html
I would love to hear from you about any progress you make in your investigation.
Hi! Ahh that's brilliant thank you so much. I'm still working at sea at the moment but home this coming Tuesday. I'll watch your video now, and I'll make one when I'm home using two of the cars "saved" on the Tx. It's every time I come to use a different model, for example using a 2wd buggy at a race meeting, then want to use the 4wd so I'd select that model and the Rx would be red. Once it's been reminded (it originally shows the ID number too after I'd initially bound it), and it shows green and the car is used, I'd then use the 2wd buggy only to experience the same issue. I've been doubting myself all this time wondering if it's something I've not been doing correctly when hopping between saved models, but I've gone through the manual countless times and followed the correct procedure. Anyway thanks again for your efforts, I'll check it out!
