@@JohnRobinsonRCShorts steering fixed. while being "in", I checked the differentials as you suggested in another video. this was a wltoys 2023 model. and yes, the grease was applied on wrong spots, so all the gears were running dry. good that I checked and packed it with fresh grease. thanks again for great instructions!
@@nesertema4583 Oh and still WLToys disappoint. I wish they could do the basics correctly.... Thanks for the update though and yes very happy you checked. I think they just want to sell spare parts but it results in people throwing the car in the back of the garage and leaving the hobby... 😞
I'm having an issue with my typhon grom steering, and it's a new servo I replaced from sx110 to rs100 servo. And when I steer to the left, it stays left and right it keeps straight.
I enjoy your instructional vids! I ordered a Wltoys 124017 1/12 and while I am patiently waiting for it I am getting so much info from your channel from diffs to rear camber on the wheels keep it up! I have subscribed!! Just one question will it run proper on 3s? I have seen vids some say yes and some say no, but i will def trust your answer. Thank you again!
how often do you have to adjust the trim in a race? cause I'm not sure if the frequency of my adjustments for my car is normal. I have a bit of an OCD tho and its a slight slight veer that I still adjust.

Hi I’m having trouble with my steering motor. I have an rc 1/12 scale upgraded from 6 AA batteries to 7.4 batteries using the same front and rear motors with new board transmitter and receiver once installed the rear motor works fine but when I connect the front wires to the steering motor gets stuck on the left or right position when I switch the wires then my board starts smoking and burns out any ideas could it be too much voltage going to the motor there are two resistors factory installed one on each side.
Tried all these and im still not getting proper wheel turning. Steering servos (tried 2)work fine until connected, then not getting full range of motion on wheels
Hi. Can you advise me how to fix the following problem with steering?: - when I turn left, and then release, wheels come back to straight. When I turn wheels right, and then release, they don't come back to strait position all the way. the car is Reely Raptor 6S. Thank You.
That could be one of two things: 1. Your servo saver needs to be replaced. 2. Your servo needs to be replaced. You may also want to check your rods for binding.

Honestly most rc cars need their steering to be adjusted frequently. Especially after a knock. Only slight trim adjustments should be needed though.

Make sure the wheel nuts are tight-car can veer when nuts are loose, too

Do the steering linkage adjust equally on both sides

what does it mean if you turn to one side and the wheel keep twitching back and forth?

I had the same problem on Wltoys. Check and found a small rock blocking the steering linkage.
