as a mechanic, im wondering why you are greasing screw holes... why not use an anti-seize compound? grease is not designed to hold fasteners together like anti-seize is.. those screws are gonna come loose

Dude i come from being in the motor trade working on real cars and retired with a tool box and tools totaling $30,000 Australian dollars. So $30 for a decent set of hex drivers is not expensive at all. In fact it's the least anyone who is serious about the hobby should be spending on what is the most vital of tools needed imo.

I have never seen a drivecas small as yours are i have a set of the blue ones but there full size. I use to use mip but i stripped not one but two 1.5mm sk i tryed the traxxes speed bits and years latet there still gping strong

What about for rlaarlo rc cars they don’t use pins and the wheel nut size they use is the m3 instead of M4

Now, say I'm in the US, don't have either. There is currently a sale where I can get 1 as an rtr and 1 as a roller. Both carbon fiber $469us, CF rtr metal roller $439, metal rtr CF roller $389, and both metal $359. It doesn't matter which model I select for rtr or roller, doesn't effect price. What ya think? Good deal? My plan is to try and coax my dad into driving with me. Maybe I'll keep the roller for me, throw a hobbywing in it, and give Dad the rtr. I'm almost thinking the $359 for both metal is the way to go, but know thy self lol. I'll end up upgrading it along the way, and if I manage to get Dad hooked so will he... When I was a kid, he got "me" a Hornet kit that he put together. I remember it started as a hornet, morphed into a quicker monster truck, then into a NASCAR on road with foams, and in the end it was an on road 63 vette.. that was insanely fast, to my 10yo mind in 1986 anyway. So, clearly I got my "never is it finished" quark from him, so... I dunno. I'm not able to do both CF versions, but perhaps the roller, with rtr metal. Ok, I'm also that guy who types comments on RUclips, while thinking things out, still typing. My bad for that. Hopefully you've not devoted an hour to reading my multi volume encyclopedia on a single question..

I ordered the two car deal on nov 28th. Only one showed up yesterday and i opened it right away. Was a used 917 and had a broke hub and was dirty with leaves in the case. The other car is not shipped or any sign it will be. I tool pictures of the car and enailed them within 4 minutes of delivery tine. That is my o ly oroof i did not cause yhe damage. It was fedex that delivered it. Thankfully i was here ti take delivery and ipen to check. Or i wouldnt have the tine stamos yo tale to my credit card company

Mine is all straight. Once I start driving, it runs straight until I go either right or left and then it pulls that direction until I bump it the other way and then it pulls that direction. I can't make it go straight. It's like the servo sticks a little off center while it is under way. If you stop and run it left and right, it returns to the center.

The issue with the wltoys cars, is the manufacturing tolerances are terrible. But I guess you get what you pay for.

I’ve just bought a 124007 and haven’t ran it yet! I plugged it up and bind controller the front wheels turned full right (even trim switch full left was shy of straight) and rear diff sounds like C3PO raping R2D2. Going to try reassembly of rear diff! Hope it doesn’t effect any warranty?

Already got my order (for the CF RTR) in last night (I'm 100% certain that my order was among the first 200). Personally, I feel that Rlaarlo is producing outstanding quality vehicles. The quality of the great majority of their parts is equal to, if not better than, Traxxas & Arrma. Yes, there was a short-term problem with some of the hardened steel parts when the AK-917 was initially released, but that was due to the hardening process they were using, which they had adjusted/corrected within a few months after the problem was discovered. As for using 190mm bodies, the body posts is not the only upgrade that will be needed. Because the current body is slightly wider than traditional 190mm bodies, people will also need the 190mm Conversion Kit, which includes slightly shorter upper & lower suspension arms, as well as slightly shorter links & driveshafts. Without the conversion kit, the wheels/tires will be sticking out from both sides, front & rear. Speaking of upgrade parts, all currently announced parts are already available. But, be aware that several of them are already close to being sold out (at least, for the first production run). My collection of 'Phase 1' upgrade parts (I tend to group my upgrades in "phases") shipped last night (late morning China time).

You can ditch the front receiver box and install a standard size servo.....the standard servo mount will be on the Rlaarlo upgrades catalog eventually. Then you can relocate the receiver to the 2nd box in the back.
