One thing you forgot to mention is that the Guardian has the lowest 1st shot spread, so if your crosshair is on a head you are almost guarantee to land that shot, and when ADSing it has no spread so where you aim is where you hit. There are sometimes with the Phantom or Vandal (mostly at longer ranges) where the bullet will simply miss even if you are aiming exactly at the enemy which can be extremely annoying.
yep main reason why i switched i keep 1 tapping everybody with vandal and phantom but the bullets just dont register but when i start using gaurdian they actually die

pair the guardian with a frenzy for when your on the move and they are getting close. Its a good combo for the best of both worlds ($2250+&450=$2700) which is still less then buys a vandal or a phantom.
The thing about Vandal and Phantom or any full-auto gun for that matter being that expensive is because they can continue shooting the enemy after slowing them down, meanwhile guns like Guardian or Bullshit(ADS) take a little while for their accuracy reset, otherwise your bullets would spread more(still less than the spray pattern of Spectre tho)
I started playing this game using mainly the Guardian, then went on to Phantom and Vandal. But, coming back to the Guardian, I agree with your comment about aim. I've noticed my aim drastically improved as of using the Guardian. It's like Survival of the Fittest. If you don't improve, you die. If you improve your aim and keep getting better, you stay alive and can get even better.
I recently picked up the game and immediately gravitated to this gun. My 3rd day playing this I got accused of aimbotting because my guardian shots were so clean. Then I learned that the Vandal was the meta. My head shot consistency plummeted. I have considered switching back to defaulting to the guardian. Apparently my Sherrif headshot rate is 51% though so I'm keeping that.
As someone who has 3000+ kills with the guardian, I can say it’s extremely underrated. It has its weaknesses but the guardian can literally out-duel every single other gun in the game with he right skill and discipline. I say it’s probably the third best gun in the game under the phantom and vandal here’s why: It has the highest total damage under the Operator. It also has 0 first shot inaccuracy ADS(meaning it’s perfectly accurate while aiming down sights.) YOU SHOULD NEVER SPAM THE GUARDIAN unless at close range. The guardian is weak against close range but with proper discipline, you can destroy someone at point- blank. It’s also weak against most rifles due to fire rate but, again you can just out- aim the opponent. It’s better than the operator due to its fire rate, and better than the marshal due to the same reasons. To sum it up, have good crosshair placement, take long angles, but if you must fight close up, time your shots perfectly. The gun is GOATED and way underrated
i agree with you. personally i struggle with my aim in valorant, but recently I've been using the guardian in my games. I've noticed a huge improvement in my crosshair placement and my kda. i am silver 2 but thanks to using the guardian, i am winning a lot more duels. which makes me win more games.
Yo! I'm watching your video today, and realised that subconsciously my aim has improved ever since I started using guardian 4 months ago, honestly... I picked guardian just because it was easier for me to kill with it but now I look back and realise my vandal and Phantom aim has improved.
Watching your gameplay in the background was the most satisfying thing ever, i couldn´t really concentrate on the actual facts in the video, but i guess im switching to guardian now
VALIDATION POGG!! Context : I have never played any fps before, and I cannot spray control at all. So I always get guardian, because if you manage your econ correctly, you can always buy guardian and atleast half shields every round whether you win or lose. I play kj, so I basically sometimes wont be able to get nanoswarms. For second round I use marshall, since there is a good chance people dont buy half shields. Marshall is basically a faster better OP if you don't buy shields, does 101 body damage.
The price also makes a lot more sense now. Initially, it was 2700 (just 200 less than phantom/vandal). Now, it can save you a lot of money and not force you to save as often.
because firstly he doesn't have many bullets left and secondly it will catch his opponent off guard by using a vandal instead of a guardian by being able to spray
I started using it today, and I got an ace, with one-bullet headtaps. My gameplay quality has increased significantly within one day, and so I'm going to use it to train my discipline. I think thats the main thing for mid to low elo players, the aren't patient enough with their shots, and look to quickly adjust or "flick" their shots for kills. It works, but it doesn't help climb in the long run. I'm glad I came across this :)
Literally everyone knows that the guardian is the best gun in Valorant, it suits all ranges, one bullet kill, low recoil and high first shot accuracy, BUT most people just dont have the aim to main it, for me example I have some days were I onetap with the guardian but then on other days i dont hit anything, so the gun for sure is the best, but it requires insane amount of skill
been running guardian sine this video came out, results showed hard and my raw fighting skills increased allowing me to climb from bronze to plat, stretching diamond now. the main factor that helped me was the headshot and ammo dicipline which transfers over to other guns, but when you use the guardian long enough, you wont want to, everything else feels like playing the lottery to hit your target. thats the kind of power we are talking about, pick up a guardian

Economy for team
I have felt the same way for quite a while. There's just something about the Guardian that hits different.
My man single handedly made 1 million people use guardian only
The thing about Vandal and Phantom or any full-auto gun for that matter being that expensive is because they can continue shooting the enemy after slowing them down, meanwhile guns like Guardian or Bullshit(ADS) take a little while for their accuracy reset, otherwise your bullets would spread more(still less than the spray pattern of Spectre tho)
Fishychair, thank you for teaching me crosshair placement and calm aim. I have drastically improved after watching your videos once.
Thanks to this i reached diamond in 1 week
That is insane high sens. No wonder you have trouble hitting at range with the meta guns
Yep, my sens is over 5 times lower.
Yep edit it's not that low lol
its not that high its only 432 eDPI. which is considered low or mid range edpi.
It's low to mid, not even high at all, let alone insanely high
No, all that matters is the edpi. Not the sense
@@popsee9745 average eDPI in this game is like 300 amongst top tier. I guess 432 it not insane high. But far from low mid.
You made a 6 minute video about the guardian feel like only 1 minute. Great job man love your content 🤞
this is so underated
Thank you for this guide.
I recently picked up the game and immediately gravitated to this gun. My 3rd day playing this I got accused of aimbotting because my guardian shots were so clean. Then I learned that the Vandal was the meta. My head shot consistency plummeted. I have considered switching back to defaulting to the guardian.
Apparently my Sherrif headshot rate is 51% though so I'm keeping that.
i feel like the best way to summarize this WHOLE guide by "just one tap lmao"
The gun is GOATED and way underrated
that one clip on the raze with ult was nuts omg
i agree with you. personally i struggle with my aim in valorant, but recently I've been using the guardian in my games.
I picked guardian just because it was easier for me to kill with it but now I look back and realise my vandal and Phantom aim has improved.
honestly the most important thing is having the prime guardian skin!
Or the oni
Fishychair you're awesome I've been getting better at the game because of you and won 2 comp games immediately after I watched your video
0:42 "I find myself losing duels" kill feed having 5k
fr
i like how you explain everything very calmly
OMG I can relate sooo much with you, we have pretty much the same thoughts. The only difference is that you are A LOT better than me...
holy shit. this guide was literally made for me. i SUCK at midrange fights and i’ve been playing the guardian which had been a great crutch for me
With the new nerfs to Spectre, Vandal, and Phantom this makes the guardian a much better weapon
Watching your gameplay in the background was the most satisfying thing ever, i couldn´t really concentrate on the actual facts in the video, but i guess im switching to guardian now
Ohh my god even after playing valorant from this long and even watched uncountable videos of valorant its first time i saw prime gaurdian reload lol
Guardian buffs go live tonight, seems like the perfect time to pick this gun up.
Marshall is basically a faster better OP if you don't buy shields, does 101 body damage.
as a guardian user this is really helpful. i struggle with vandal/phantom because the way they’re automatic makes me feel like i don’t have control
I actually seen more ppl start using the guardian more often I got to give the guardian another chance after seeing this vid
The price also makes a lot more sense now. Initially, it was 2700 (just 200 less than phantom/vandal). Now, it can save you a lot of money and not force you to save as often.
This is so helpful as my problem was comitting to vandal sprays that werent working even though my crosshair placement was okay
I literally bought the sovereign skin to force me to use the guardian more. It's a very underrated gun
dude guardian has the best skins in the game imo; sovereign, reaver, prime, oni
The fact that I found this by myslef and now randomly find this vid is boosting my ego ngl
The infantry guardian is the best gun in the game change my mind
TRUE
you inspired me not only use guardian but play val more because i see the way i can improove
*videos about how thee guardian is the best gun in the game*
*reaches for a vandal during a 1v1* 2:17
because firstly he doesn't have many bullets left and secondly it will catch his opponent off guard by using a vandal instead of a guardian by being able to spray
A very good guide! Came just in time after my lose streak 😂 time to try the guardian i guess
agreed
I feel like guardian friendzy would solve the spraying issue
tf crosshair 1 1 10 2 its not what i see in the vid
The only Streamer/RUclipsr who is fully about Guardian and the Guardian Gang
"And one-tap the bell icon"
Genius
been running guardian sine this video came out, results showed hard and my raw fighting skills increased allowing me to climb from bronze to plat, stretching diamond now. the main factor that helped me was the headshot and ammo dicipline which transfers over to other guns, but when you use the guardian long enough, you wont want to, everything else feels like playing the lottery to hit your target. thats the kind of power we are talking about, pick up a guardian
