Stunning modelling and amazing kit. I WANT ONE !
$$$$ I'M SURE
Great work Andy. You use simple techniques to get outstanding results that are not overdone. Rust and chipping in particular are two areas I feel are way overdone much of the time and I appreciate your less-is-more approach. Those tracks are some of the best examples of weathered metal I have seen. Really nice.
She's a beauty. Love the shape of the Jagdpanther.
Inthe Lionsden even one without the gun would look so sleek, like some sort of sports tank
KiLl3R Mem3StAR I would pay a lot of money to see a sport involving tanks
You should watch Girls und Panzer then
the Bob Ross of model assembly and painting - I enjoy these so much , Thank You
Thank you that’s kind of you to say.
Andy, it was amazing to watch you build and paint this model. Great job!
amazing job with this monster kit, I specially liked the final result on those road wheels, they look so real
Wow, what a beautiful beast! Love the camo, tools, tracks and weathering!
Two words : EXTREME TALENT !
Nice build, Andy. I love how the road wheels turned out. Really a cool build.
Amazing ! Great job, love the mud and grime effect.
I really like that Andy, thanks for showing us the build and painting of this kit.
Amazing in depth model!! thanks for showing your techniques it looks real great job Andy
Dark Yellow is my favourite color!!
Just as a tip. I have found, that when I was rigging a model of HMS Victory, the thread was very hairy. So, I mixed some PVA glue with water, making a mixture that was the consistency of milk. I then wet my thumb and forefinger with the glue and ran the thread between them. This caused the minute hairs to bond to the thread. Being PVA, it does not take long to dry. The added bonus being that the, now dry, PVA acted as primer coat for paint.
This has to be your best work, absolutely amazing!
Great video. I actually had the Tamiya RC Full Option Kit of the Jagdpanther and the same in the Panther G. I did end up selling them but I really regret it now.
I fitted Aber side skirts to both tanks and I must say that they looked awesome.
On the Jagdpanther I used a aftermarket alloy main gun trunnion and a upmarket alloy main gun barrel and numerous aftermarket parts.
Hi Andy,
Another great job, I always look forward to your builds and especially the painting. Happy Modelling,
Les
Your best model so far. Good work, Andy!
Really liked this one Andy !! , Building a 1:16 scale Tamiya tank is such a joy.
Just rewatched the video. I have started painting my Heng long Jagdpanther. I think it will ended up very much like Andy's. I plan to follow his paint scheme, as I like it. I'm up to starting the green camo. By the time I have finished it, it will be more Taigen than Henglong. Thanks to Andy for giving me the idea and for inspiring me to take up tank modeling. I'm finding it very rewarding. I also really like Andy's methods. Simple and creative at the same time.
We had a great pleasure watching your video and learned a lot about painting/weathering. Thanks.
Best one yet Andy!! You've inspired me to go out and grab this kit. I've always wanted to try a 1/16th kit. I do have some RC 1/16th tanks also and this will go great in the show cabinet.
Very professional, nice !
Fantastic looking model, you did an amazing job on putting it together and painting. looking forward to more great videos.
use neodymium magnets to hold the upper and lower hulls together.
lovely work of art
On The yellow road weals the rubber looks like its cracked love it
Thanks Andy that was a great video. I have just finished my second armour model, which is a 1/25 Academy Jagdpanther, and I have used all your methods and tips....great stuff sir!
That is an extremely nice tank at 27:40. Excellent painting and rusting.
She's a beauty, Andy. Great job!👌🏻
As always Andybrilliant work on build and video, thanks for sharing.
Nice work!
Andy you do such an amazing job it's just fantastic!
Absolutely incredible build and paint Job Andy.
Another Great video on Weathering. Thanks again Andy.
Well that was awesome Andy, very fun to watch and beautiful job! I think I'll come spend some money at your shop this weekend!
great paint job and the weathering is first class . the good thing about 1/16 scale is we can see more individual detail in the weathering of certain parts . Awsome build Andy 👍
Very good! Looks badass
Very informative and entertaining. I have never tried the 1/16th scale, though I did Tamiya's 1/25th scale Tiger when it first came out.
Very much enjoying your work. As an engineer and an industrial designer I enjoy the intricacy of the build process and the joy of detailing the model. Thanks
Looks amazing !!! Great job..
This looks beautiful Andy, you did a great job. I can't seem to get around the thought that I could buy 8-10 Dragon 1/35 kits for what it cost though so I probably will never get one myself. 🤔 Thanks for the video. 😊
Awesome weathering job Andy! I plan on using your techniques on my Hobby Boss 1/16 scale Tiger I. My tank will be a Normandy Tiger stationed in France summer of 1944 so I need a dusty & dried mud effect like your Jagdpanther.
Great job! Looks fantastic!
Awesome build. Looks great in that scale.
This video is so pleasing to watch
superb work!!!!! Just great!
Love all of your videos Andy. I have the 1/16 scale RC King Tiger. I can sure use your tips on it. Great work!
Outstanding!
Stunning job, Andy. 👍🏻
Andy, I would love to see you work on an interior, especially one of the convoluted resin sets by Verlinden, the Tank Workshop, etc. Maybe an idea for a new video? Nice model btw! Love the weathering.
great job! i think a tank commander on top would bring this to life a hell lot more, but it does look fantastic i must admit!
great vids buddy!
Great job Andy!
That's amazing!
been waiting for this, felt like forever. love your videos, keep up the great work!
Compliment's for your job!👌
Looks fantastic!
Andy, nice job! 👏
Fantastic job
good job Andy
Looks great.
Thanks. I always learn something new even though I model trains and cars.
Excellent build Andy! The weathering looks awesome along with the special highlights of the mud and the tracks. Man those really look like weathered tracks. I think Tamiya went a little cheap by adding in the string and not a wire for the tow cables. Also, I'm glad you are keeping the RC option open...that would be nice to see one day.
Terrific as always. How you manage decals over dull coat without silvering is beyond me. I use the Tamiya strong also on my decals and they come out fantastic, but they won't unless I gloss coat first, THEN add decals. After the decals are dry I weather it up with pastel chalks and paint pigments then dull coat. Of course, mine don't look as good as yours do, but I'm happy with them.
Great video, very informative as always,
Cheers! 👍🏻
The attention to detail is awesome
Good and great job.Well done Andy!
Whoa! That's a beast!
looks fantastic!!!!
Looks great. My favorite tank too.
Brilliant job andy 👌🏼
Wow, really nice!
A little tip for those string tow cables - I thin some PVA and work it into the tread before cutting it to length and painting it. It makes it much more like steel, and loses the hairy surface!
Andy looks great, what a monster!!
Considering the scale, those spare tracks should've been drilled out.
Now they're left with a huge track pin end and lug, but no actual pin going through the track..
But it's basically just Tamiya's old 1/35 kit scaled up - take that statement whichever way you want.
Anywho, great work as usual, Andy. :)
I too would suggest next time you drill out the spare track links on the bottom that would have had a pin installed otherwise.
Beautiful build but you should have weathered the inside of the road wheels. Love the video
You're really churning out videos lately! This is one of the few channels I get notified by, and it's an instant-watch when I do. As a suggestion: build the Meng PZH 2000 :)
I'd like to share a tip that has served me well for decades. After you've put down your decals instead of using Q-tips I use a sponge. I give the decal solution time to work and then I press straight down with the sponge. I can get a painted on look on zimmerite every time ! You may have to do it more than once especially if the area required a solvent.
Looks great
Superb work Andy, stunning piece.
That's a nice kit!!
Super video !!!
Bravo, Andy. Fantastic work! Please, please, drop in that R/C kit! This cat needs to hunt!
Splendid. I learn so much from your videos.
Magnificent Tank! I think it looks great.
Very nice job well done great looking huntingPanther
fantastic job, Andy :D
sooo good, I loved it !!!
Cool.Work.Super.
Great work; great model. I think your techniques are sound and improving.
Andy, great videos. Wonder if you go a Talk about de-dusting old models, cleaning, maybe a special on repainting old models. You have me looking forward to getting some kits out of the closet and building and painting some russian armor. Thanks !
Kinda agree with you not gluing down the top. I think if I was going to all the effort of building such a big model I'd want it to move too. Great build and tutorial on weathering
Build a 1:1 Jagdpanther, should be realll fun!
Love it!!
Beautiful.
Ok, after watching how well your tank turned out, I'm gonna throw my 1/16 King Tiger away :). . Nice job and thanks for the weathering tutorials. Hope to make it into your shop sometime soon (I'm in Mesa).
Your a master at this.
Really great work Andy. Finnished product is awesome 👍😁
this is the best model kit I ever seen
Crazy size, respect bro.
